My goal and greatest challenge when it comes to my profession is it to create an office, staff, and experience that patients look forward to revisiting. Through excellence in dentistry, we look to create a home for patients and their dental needs. Every day on the job, I ensure I achieve excellence in everything I do so that I can better benefit my patients. It impresses me that my patients care enough about their health that they are motivated to keep up with it themselves and make my job easy!

My staff and I enjoy spending time with patients so much that it makes work a fun place. Through providing excellent dental care, we have found a way to truly enjoy what we do and who we see. In short, our team rocks! We really enjoy every day and we only ask for the chance to prove it.

Education & Affiliations I obtained my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. When I finished school, I trained in an oral surgery internship at the University of Florida. I also believe continuing education is imperative to my profession. Every year, I get about three times as much continuing education as required by the state.

Personal Life I grew up in Montgomery, AL, and have been living in Charleston, SC, for the past four years. I have an awesome best friend and wife, Joanna, and two young children. We are very family-centered and enjoy the challenge of creating well-rounded, respectful, and capable children.

My wife and I enjoy food, sports, playing with our kids, church, and music. We have our foot on the gas and we dont slow down! Whether its meeting friends for dinner, watching a game, or teaching our kids about football or whatever they are being taught at church school, we are on the move.

Education & Affiliations I spent most of my childhood in Alexandria, Virginia, and earned my bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Virginia. I attended Virginia Commonwealth University where I graduated at the top of my class as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Post dental school, I moved to Charleston, SC, and completed a residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. I am a proud member of the American Dental Association and South Carolina Dental Association and couldnt be happier to provide dental care as my vocation here at Carolina Complete Dental.

Personal Life I have been in the Charleston area since 2015 and love it. My husband, James, and I met in Charleston in 2017 and were married two years later. We adopted a one blue-eyed one brown-eyed Australian Shepherd puppy named Griffin and he is the sweetest dog! On the weekends, I enjoy spending time on Sullivans Island and also enjoy walking around and trying new restaurants in downtown Charleston. I love traveling, exploring new places, and trying new things. Im always looking forward to new experiences, but also love the day to day life here in the Lowcountry!

Dr. Shannon Hassin was born and raised on Long Island, New York. She graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in Sociology. She then received a Masters in Biomedical Sciences at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. Later, Dr. Hassin went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo. After dental school, Dr. Hassin chose to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.

Dr. Hassin has a passion for giving back to the community, both at home and abroad. She volunteers her time giving to the underserved and utilizes her ability to speak Spanish to communicate with patients that would otherwise have great difficulty understanding their treatment options. She has traveled to the Dominican Republic and various areas of the United States participating in Remote Area Medical trips.

Dr. Hassin is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, South Carolina Dental Association and Hispanic Dental Association. In her spare time, Dr. Hassin enjoys spending time with family and friends, relaxing at the beach, trying new foods and restaurants and riding her Peloton bike.

Tim McAdams, CRNA graduated from Medical University of South Carolina in 2005 and has been providing anesthesia in the Charleston and Goose Creek area since then. Carolina Complete Dental is thankful to have him as a member of our team in order to offer Sedation Dentistry to our Goose Creek, SC patients.

I love the positive energy that you will find at Carolina Complete Dental. I enjoy working with our amazing doctors and team, knowing that we are helping our patients achieve healthy and beautiful smiles. Seeing how happy our patients are after their treatment is so rewarding.

I have lived in the Goose Creek area since middle school. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children. I love exploring the beautiful Charleston area and all it has to offer.

I love working with Dr. Barganier and the rest of our team to meet the oral health needs of our patients! I enjoy building trusting relationships with each patient and providing the best care possible. When I'm not working, I love to spend time with my husband, Michael, our daughter Anna Claire, and our son Hudson. I enjoy shopping and boating.

I am from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and am a graduate of Francis Marion University with a B.S. in Science. I love working with three dentists and a dental team that I respect, trust, and have fun with every day. One of the things I enjoy most about working at GCDC is getting to know all of our wonderful patients and helping them overcome dental fears. I enjoy traveling, reading, beach yoga, and spending time with my husband and two children.

I love developing relationships with my patients while taking care of their dental hygiene. When I am not cleaning teeth, I am spending time with my husband, Aaron, and our two kids, Emma Grace and Levi. I also enjoy photographing families and friends over the past few years.

I have lived in S.C. since the age of 5 and I am proud to call the Low-country my home. I received my training at Trident Technical College and have been working in the same practice for the past 14 years. I enjoy all aspects of my job as a dental assistant, but the most rewarding thing is sharing my knowledge and compassion with my patients. It gives me great joy to restore confidence and healthy smiles to everyone that comes to see us at Carolina Complete Dental. I have a loving husband of 23 years and have raised 2 beautiful daughters. I enjoy country living, my animals, and simple family life.

I am a Southern girl, born right here in the Low Country, with a true passion for people. I love putting a smile on their face, making them laugh, or just making their day a little brighter. Working the front desk allows me to take care of all the patients coming and going on a daily basis, which makes my heart smile. Dr. Barganier has a wonderful group of folks working with him and I am proud to be a part of his team! When I'm not at work, you will find me and my husband, Brett, out on our Harley riding or spending time with family and friends. Between the kids, a grand, and fur babies, I stay busy.

Being a dental assistant is more than just a job for me. It is something I love doing. Making my patients comfortable and relaxed is my main goal and nothing makes me happier than seeing a smile on their face. I received wonderful training at a school in Pennsylvania and have been an assistant for three years. I moved to South Carolina two years ago and have loved every minute of it. I go back to visit family in Pennsylvania, spending time at the pool, beach, or lake, enjoying all the beauty of the Low Country with my boyfriend when Im not working.

I absolutely love being a dental hygienist! Working with great doctors and coworkers makes it even more enjoyable. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three sweet kiddos. I love the pool, shopping, and eating out.

GCDC is a second home to me. I love our team here and the patients that I have the privilege of building a relationship with. Being able to provide care and help my patients overcome any dental fear they may have is a huge priority for me. When I'm not at the office, you can find me hanging out with my husband, Dave, and our four children.

I began my career with GCDC in 2014. There is nothing quite like the feeling of helping our patients with their financial needs to attain their beautiful smile or have more confidence in their smile. The best part of my job is that I get to meet so many different people and they become my friend as we go through their journey together. We have the best team of people here at GCDC. We are always eager and willing to help no matter what your dental needs may be. In my spare time, you will find me with my son Logan Reeves and my sweet dog Riley. I love the Carolina Gamecocks and the Dallas Cowboys!

I graduated from Horry Georgetown Tech and am from St. Stephen, SC. I enjoy meeting new patients and building a relationship with them. I recently got married and have a daughter. I also enjoy the outdoors, spending time with my family, and relaxing at the lake.

I have been in the Dental/Medical field for over 20 years. I love working with this phenomenal team of staff and doctors! I have two boys, Tyler and Parker, and my husband of 27 years, Joe. As a family, we enjoy hunting, fishing, and traveling as much as possible.
