Many Brooklyn natives recognize the Carnazza name, as the family has a long-standing history in the community. Dr. Carnazzas namesake, his grandfather Gaetano, was a beloved barber, and when his son Vito (Dr. Carnazzas father) opted not to follow in his fathers footsteps and instead become an Ob/Gyn, his mother (Dr. Carnazzas grandmother) paid for med school with her own wages she earned as a seamstress. Now, Dr. Carnazza is discovering that many of his own dental patients are patients of his fathers, and in some cases, his father even delivered his patients! After starting his dental practice in Brooklyn in the same building his fathers office, Dr. Carnazza moved to his current location in East Rockaway, where he has updated the former dentists office to make advanced dental care accessible to more patients.

Dr. Guy Carnazza is an experienced and talented dentist. He has extensive training in both surgical and prosthetic dentistry His service to patients in Brooklyn, Long Island, and surrounding areas has earned him a reputation for achieving excellent results while setting patients at ease in the dentists chair. Dr. Carnazzas expertise in implant dentistry (as well as general and restorative dentistry) allows him to exceed many patients expectations. Dr. Carnazza is proud to be part of NYUs esteemed College of Dentistry program as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Advanced Program for International Dentists in Esthetic Dentistry. Through his work at NYU he is able to pass on his years of extensive training and knowledge to aspiring dental students.
Educational and Professional Background Dr. Carnazza obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Hartford in 1992 and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston in 1996. He then completed a one-year general practice residency at Brooklyns Kings County Hospital and SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He also completed two two-year surgical and prosthetic implantology training programs at New York University (NYU) between 2005 and 2007. This allowed him to attain the esteemed credential of Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantology. He was then a Clinical Associate in the same program from 2007-2008. At present, he attends continuing education courses at NYUs The Rosenthal Institute for Advanced Dental Ed.
Professional Affiliations Since 1996, Dr. Carnazza has worked with numerous esteemed dental professionals in the New York City area, both as an associate dentist and as a dental student. He also operated his own full-service dental practice from June 1998 to May 2008 in his hometown of Canarsie, Brooklyn. Dr. Carnazza is affiliated with the following professional dental associations:

Dr. Carnazza is an amazing dentist. He is down to earth, explains everything step by step so I could understand the procedures. He is also an artist. I had many missing teeth. I almost never smiled. Dr. Carnazza made my mouth truly beautiful. I'm now smiling every chance I get.

I know it is rare when someone says they enjoy going to the dentist, but I genuinely do! Dr. Carnazza and his staff are always great. I have been going to him since he was in his older location in Merrick, NY. Once you find a dentist like him, you stay loyal haha. I have recommended numerous friends and family to him. Disease starts in the mouth. Dr. Carnazza is the utmost professional, and he knows what he is doing. Before I saw Dr. Carnazza I had teeth pulled and my remaining teeth shifted, sideways. Funny how my old dentist failed to mention this. A set of braces 3 years later with 2 bridges and I'm done with a confident smile. I can definitly say now a second opinion can never hurt. Nobody likes going to the dentist, but let's face it, a good smile goes a long, long way. The friendly vibe in the office puts you at ease, and he is upfront and competitive with his prices, with no games or hidden "gotcha" charges after the work is done. If you have a question, give him a call.

I have used Dr. Guy Carnazza since he opened his office in East Rockaway. He is the best dentist I have ever had. He's the most professional, knowledgeable and respectful Dr. to work on me. I had major work done on my upper teeth about 7 yrs ago with caps done. I finally got around to just finishing my bottom teeth with caps and veneers. It was many hours and quite extensive, bit the final product, my smile was well worth it. He explained in great detail the extensive work and time involved to do the work. The use of temps and the realignment of the new bite and many follow ups to tweak and make sure it was comfortable and look great! Most people don't like going to the dentist but he makes it a good experience. I highly recommend his services and tell him Joe sent you!

Dr Carnazza is THE BEST dentist I've ever been to. He is passionate about his work and truly cares about his patients. His attention to detail is like no other. The office is warm and welcoming; Im always greeted at the door and have never spent more than 2 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge my arrival and appointment. His staff is very friendly and accommodating. I appreciate the soothing and positive atmosphere they promote. I've never had a dentist like Dr Carnazza, and I only wish I would've met him sooner. Recommended 100%

I originally went to Dr. Carnazza based upon the recommendation of a friend who worked in medical offices. Will never be able to thank her enough and now have been using Dr. Carnazza for years. If there is perfection in dentistry it can be found in Dr. Carnazza's office. All procedures are explained in detail. The equipment used in the office is the most modern available and costs are reasonable. His staff is knowledgeable, professional and empathetic to patients needs and their anxieties. Guy comes into the room with a smile and follows up with a phone call to see if all is well after major work. I could not ask for a better Dentist or dental experience.

Dr. Guy is very attentive to his patients and provides them with the best care. He is very thorough and explains exactly what is needed for giving you that perfect smile! He uses care with every procedure and makes it very painless. I definitely do not like getting work done on my teeth but when I sit in his dental chair, I know he's taking his time and providing the best possible care needed. This allows me to feel less anxious and more comfortable with my super sensitive teeth that hes now been taking care of for years. If your looking for a compassionate, thorough and reasonably priced dentist, I would recommend making an appointment with Dr. Guy Carnazza.

While spending time in New York I was lucky to come across Dr. Carnazza and his dental practice. His attentiveness and compassion made my experience a pleasurable one. Going to a dentist is a nerve racking experience, but Dr. Carnazza put me at ease. His knowledge and experience helped to keep me calm.
