Carmichael Family Dental has been servicing Carmichael, Fair Oaks, Orangevale, Citrus Heights, Gold River, Sacramento community with the same care and compassion since 1999. Our teamconsists of dedicated, caring and loving individual who will make your visit to our office a pleasant experience free from any anxiety typically associated with visiting a dentist.
Dr. Medina came from a family of dentists. She has been exposed to dentistry at a very young age and understands the importance of giving patients the love and care they need. Dr. Medina served both Hispanic and Native American communities for several years in Centro de Salud Familar la Fe, El Paso Texas and Chapa De Indian Health, Auburn, California respectively. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Sacramento District Dental Society. With the dedication to give back, sheactively participatesin numerous dental missions to help those who could not afford dental care.
Dr. Medina is a graduate of the University of the East, College of Dentistry with a degree in Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry.She graduated on top of her class and has placedtop 10 during her board exam. She has completed a residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry with NYU Langone Dental Medicine. Dr. Medina has been practicing dentistry since 2004 and is a licensed dentist in the state of California and the Commonwealthof Virginia. She is a strong believer in continuing education as a means to ensure that her patients receive the highest quality of care. She is also an advocate of continuity of care to ensure that the need of her patients is addressed from start to end.She isvery active in giving back to the community and has participated in numerous dental missions to benefitunderserved communities.
When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Medina enjoys her time with her husband and two kids. She also enjoys volunteering as a choir member with the local church as well as organize community events with her family. Her favorite alone time activity is watchingKorean novela.

I have never felt so safe in the hands of a dentist. Dr Medina cares so much not just about her practice, but her patients as well. Tanya her hygienist is the most skilled hygienist I've ever encountered. You can feel the precision while they work in your mouth, and you know everything is being done right. Then you go to the front and there's Anna. She's beyond sweet, beyond honest, and you know you aren't going to be charged blindly by some fraudulent fee. Everything is honest, open, truthful. Safe. Trusting. Efficient. I can't say enough!

This office is very professional and very COVID aware. Went in for an emergency they were absolutely awesome and caring. DR. Medina is very kind and explains eveverything. I think I finally found my dentist. Also the quote I received for my care is very reasonable. THANK YOU ALL. Her staff is awesome as well.

Family Dental in Carmichael, Please beware. They way over charging me for a deep dental clean and it's so Ridiculous . They may seem nice, but People hide behind smiles. Never again!! Like what else did they over charge me or?,

Best office EVER! The entire office is great. Such a beautiful, cozy office. I have never felt more taken care of than at this office. Tanya, the hygienist is very detailed and thorough. Dr. Medina is so gentle, kind and very informative. Anna is so helpful with everything from scheduling to insurance. Leilhani is an awesome assistant as well. Best decision ever coming to this office. I will stay for years.

Dr. Ahleen is very professional, she cares about her patients and the best dentist ever. The staff are very wonderful and kind. The environment is so nice and clean and you will be very comfortable and eventhough its pandemic I fully trusted her clinic and I was anxiety free.

I love this dental office! They are always so friendly and hospitable whenever me and my family come into the office. Dr Medina is amazingly nice and super knowledgeable, she always has a warm smile . The hygienist Tanya is so gentile and sweet, I wish she can clean my teeth forever. We live in Elk Grove and the drive is far but I love the people here and the care they provide is worth the sacrifice.
