Kim is a graduate of USC and honed her skills by teaching dental hygiene at her alma mater. She excels at providing patients with skills to enhance and maintain their beautiful smiles. When not in the office Kim likes to spend time with her family, reading, playing her online game, going to the gym, and gardening.
Kay graduated summa cum laude from the West Los Angeles college dental hygiene program. She is licensed to deliver local anesthesia. Kay is determined to keep her patients' smiles healthy and prevent dental problems. She holds a master's degree in music and plays a mean bassoon. She enjoys cooking, baking, wine, craft beer, reading, and spending quality time with her cats.
Sara graduated from Woodbury University with a degree in fashion design. She is passionate about making the office run smoothly. Travelling, knitting, painting and other artistic pursuits are among the things she enjoys. Sara also actively advocates for charitable organizations including children hospitals, breast and ovarian cancer research, Alzheimers research, cures for the blind.
Jennifergraduated magna cum laude from the West Los Angeles college dental hygiene program. She taught clinicaldental hygiene at UCLA.Jenniferis a caring, upbeat, fun personality which blends nicely with the high level of skill and proficiency she demonstrates. She loves going to concerts, dancing and spending time with her husband and teenage daughter.
Maria is one of our Registered Dental Assistants. A graduate of The Southern California Regional Occupational Center, Maria enjoys learning about the latest techniques in the dental assisting industry. She possesses a passion for helping others -even traveling to El Salvador for a mission trip in 2014. At home, Maria enjoys spending time with her daughter, Demi, and watching Criminal Minds.
As our Operations Coordinator, Anthony truly is the Jack-of-all-trades within the office. During his time in the office he has quickly learned a lot about the dental industry and helps keep the office running smoothly. Anthony is currently pursuing his business degree so that he can bring even more expertise to the office. In his free time Anthony can be found cooking, spending time with his family and enjoying his Sunday kickball league.
A graduate of The Southern California Regional Occupational Center, Michelle brings her 25 years of experience to Carmen Castillo DDS. Her engaging and friendly personality helps to make our patients feel welcome and at ease. When not in the office Michelle enjoys spending time with her cats and enjoys watching the Food Network.

Dr. Castillo has completed a significant amount of advanced coursework with the UCLA Aesthetic Continuum, Spear Institute and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Castillo volunteers her time and expertise at the Children's Dental Health Clinic in Long Beach. She has served as president of the Childrens Dental Foundation and as a member of the Long Beach Memorial Millers Medical Advisory Board. She continues to serve on the Board of the Childrens Dental Foundation.
