Dr. Tannous received her dental training from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. In addition to over 10 years of experience, she completed 2 years of advanced education in General Dentistry. Dr. Tannous enjoys all aspects of dentistry, though she is most passionate about health, beauty, and overall oral care.
Dr. Tannous is committed to providing the best possible treatment for her patients with the highest standards of care. She understands the importance of lifelong learning, professional development, and responsibility towards her patients. She attends continuing education courses to deliver quality and comprehensive care and make best clinical judgments using evident based diagnoses and treatment planning. Dr. Tannous, possesses the highest qualifications and is extremely well skilled in all phases of dentistry.
Dr. Tannous is an active member in the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, Indianapolis District Dental Society, Give kids A Smile, the Special Olympics healthy Athletes program. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two beautiful children. She also likes to travel, and cook.
I am a dental hygienist who came to work for the previous owner of Carmel West Dentistry, Dr Halsema, in September of 1986 and am happy to be a part of the transition to Dr. Tannouss team! I have been married to my husband Steve for over 40 years, and our 3 children kept us very busy. I am a dog lover and have a Pomapoo, named Izzie. I am also a foodie who loves looking for new recipes, trying out new restaurants, traveling, shopping for home dcor and watching HGTV. I enjoy playing fantasy football and spending time with family and friends. My favorite thing in the whole world is spending time with my 2 granddaughters, Lily and Zeeva!
I am a dental hygienist and mother of 3 adult children and Nana of 4 boys. I am married to an estate attorney who loves to hike mountains, camp, and scuba dive. I have been in dentistry since 1982, and graduated from Indiana University with a BS. Its been my pleasure to be a member of the Carmel West Dentistry team since 2013, starting with Dr. Halsema and continuing with Dr. Tannous!
Growing up in the dental field (my dad was a dentist in the Chicago suburbs) I have worked in all areas within the dental staff. Ive had the pleasure of working for Dr. Halsema since moving to the area in 1996 first as a substitute dental hygienist and software trainer, then transitioning to her office manager. I am now privileged to be a member of the team for our new dentist, Dr. Rawan Tannous. When Im not working at the office, I train other dental practices on dental practice management software. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my 2 grown children and my grandchildren, my dogs, my friends, reading, cooking and being an active member of my church and P.E.O., a philanthropic, educational organization for women.
I joined the team in 2015, bringing with me several years of expanded dental assisting experience. The best part of my job is getting to interact with and help patients with their dental needs while continuing to learn from Dr. Tannous who accepts nothing less than excellence. I have 2 children, Madyson and Devin, who always keep me busy. In my free time I enjoy everything outdoors, watching movies and anything that brings laughter and joy!
I joined the practice in 2014 after getting married and moving to the area. I love getting to know my patients better each time they come in for their cleanings. In my spare time I enjoy playing on my volleyball league and biking. I also have a large garden and I like to cook using the produce I grow and pick! Now that I am a mom of 2 boys, I have reduced the time I work at the office but still love being a part of the team at Carmel West Dentistry!
I graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Nutrition Science in 2007 and began working in my sisters dental office in 2008. I was excited to join Dr. Halsemas team in 2017 and am pleased to now be working for Dr. Tannous. I live in Fishers with my husband and our 2 children, Mason and Naomi. On the weekends I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring parks in the area.
I am an Indiana native and dental hygienist who graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Health Related Professions in 1980. Since graduation I have worked in a number of different positions including: working with newborn 3 year old dental patients at Methodist Hospital, as coordinator of the Dental Program for the Marion County Health Department as well as working in private practice. I have also volunteered for over 40 years with the homeless, geriatric and battered women and children populations. In my spare time, I enjoy sports, reading and music.
I am a dental assistant who fell in love with Dentistry my senior year of high school and from there my love for it grew. After graduating from dental assistant school in 2018 and a few years of searching for my forever work home, I found Dr. Tannouss office! I found an office full of amazing people and am so glad Im the new addition to the team. My husband and I have two beautiful daughters Nova and Cora who keep me very busy in my spare time.

My husband and I are very pleased with Dr. Tannous and her staff. And that says something given how pleased we were in all ways with Dr. Halsema. It also says something given that I became a patient of Dr. Halsema years ago after calling an endodontist's office asking for a referral after becoming decidedly unhappy with the dentist who'd taken over the practice of my previous dentist. The referral for Dr. Halsema was immediate and gushing. She was so good in all the ways you want, that we decided we'd make the a-little-over-an hour drive after our upcoming move 85 miles away rather than seek someone else closer. She was that worthy of the gushing. Regarding Dr. Tannous, my husband and I each had a couple appointments with Dr. Tannous before we moved, and we agreed we each were very pleased, and that we'd delay making any search for a new dentist closer to our new home. Now it's more than a year later and we have no intention of looking for a dentist closer to us. Dr. Tannous and the staff really are that good! Every single person we've dealt with has been excellent in all ways. Besides routine care, we've each had a bit of dental work done. Always, the information provided, and questions answered are done with genuinely caring attention. We're each every bit as pleased with Dr. Tannous as we were with Dr. Halsema--and that says a lot. It's well worth the drive time for exceptional care with a really good dentist we trust!

I've never had a dentist I've looked forward to going to before until now. She is also amazing with my children. The wife is also very comfortable going to Dr. Tannous as well and she came from a dentist that she was at for a long time until they stopped taking our insurance. Very pleased.

I'm so happy Dr. Halsema picked such a caring, comforting and most of all competent Dentist to take over her practice. Even though it's a bit of a drive to get there, my family and I will continue with this great team of healthcare professionals!

I am a new patient and was not sure what to expect when I first went in. During my appointment I was greeted and welcomed by a warm and friendly staff. Dr. Tannous was friendly, professional, and very well informed she addressed all my questions and concerns. I will definitely continue with Carmel West Dentistry!

My experience in the past few months has been awesome; I say the last few months because i had some serious dental work done. The Dentist that's taken over for Nancy was just wonderful. When I called in; desperate; they were able to get me right in; She gave me a few options and we went from there. I appreciate good billing practices also. I hate being blind sided with a bill that came out of the air. So Carmel Well Gets a A Plus in there billing and communication. dental work was also an A.. one more thing! Her Assistants are just as good as her! imagine that!

My family and I have been going to Carmel West Dentistry for over 10 years. We have always had good experiences with them and have been very pleased. Recently Dr. Halsema retired and the practice has been taken over by Dr. Tannous. I am pleased to report that Dr. Tannous is excellent. I recently had some old fillings replaced and the procedure was quick and painless. Very happy

This dentist office is the best we've ever been to! They got us back quickly the doctor was very patient And professional. The dental assistant Haley was absolutely wonderful, she was kind and gentle And was very patient when explaining everything she was doing. The front desk staff was great they figured out our insurance quickly and efficiently! We will definitely be using this dentist always!!!

I was always scared of going to the dentist. Dr. Halsema was referred to us by a friend and my first appointment was an emergency appointment and I was taken such good care of. I never fear going for my cleanings or any other matters. They keep me smiling each time! Great and caring staff!

By far the best Dentist experience I have ever had, all of the staff were very friendly and fully informed me what they were going to perform. The best part was that Dr. Halsema was never pushy for me to get a certain procedure, she only educated me and explained why I should consider a certain procedure to better my hygiene and health. I would definitely recommend.
