Dr. Crowley Correll and her four brothers were raised in San Antonio, TX. She grew up in a medical family, as her mother was a nurse and her father is a gynecologic oncologist. Dr. Crowley Correll was married to a wonderful husband for eight years before he lost his battle with cancer, one that he fought with courage and grace. Together they have three daughters and one son.
Dr. Crowley Correll chose dentistry as her career as she wanted to use her creativity and work with her hands. Given that she has known the medical profession since childhood, she has always viewed the mouth as the window to the rest of the body. Helping people achieve oral health allows them to achieve greater well-being.
For many years, Dr. Crowley Correll has been recognized by her attention to detail and trustworthiness, along with her passion for helping patients improve their dental health. Her peers have acknowledged this by voting for her as Charlottes Top Dentist every year since 2008. She finds genuine fulfillment when working with her team, building caring relationships with her patients, and restoring oral health to those in need.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Crowley Correll spends her time scuba diving (her mother is a PADI Course Director), shopping, doing Pilates, and supporting her kids activities in sports and their school band.
Dr. Crowley Correll has been scuba diving since 1978 and is a PADI Rescue Diver. Her mother is a PADI Course Director and has taught most of their friends and her entire family including her ten grandchildren to scuba dive. She has traveled the undersea world with her friends and family and has a passion to explore.
Dr. Crowley Correll has a love for art, including sculpture, painting, and music. She spends time sculpting, painting, and has a love for music and the arts. She acknowledges that this gives her a better eye for smile design and the ability to provide an aesthetically pleasing smile to her patients.
If she were an ice cream flavor, Dr. Crowley Correll would be New York Super Fudge Chunk by Ben & Jerrys. Its creamy, chocolate, and sticky, with chunks of white chocolate. In other words, a variety of tastes and textures just the way she likes life to be!
I had probably the best experience that one can possibly have at a dentist office today! The entire staff from reception to hygienist to dentist were all friendly professional and knowledgeable. I was impressed at how many questions they answered for me and all my options were fully explained. Wow!

To prevent these issues and restore your smile, Dr. Crowley Correll uses dental implant restoration.
An implant is an artificial tooth root made of titanium, which is carefully placed into your jawbone by a specialist. This root is then topped with a dental restoration such as a crown or bridge. The implants provide a stable, long-lasting foundation for your restoration.
At Carolyn Crowley Correll DDS, we can restore your smile while preserving your oral health. If you have a broken tooth, a crown may be the ideal option to fix your smile. A crown is a synthetic cap which is placed on top of a damaged tooth and renews it back to its original size and appearance. These restorations can help prevent your tooth from experiencing further damage and can restore its function.
If you have a missing tooth, then a bridge may the most favorable option. A dental bridge consists of two crowns on either side of an artificial tooth. The crowns are placed over the adjacent teeth and act as an anchor to hold the artificial tooth into place.

I always receive great service. Emily did a great job cleaning and polishing my teeth. X-rays were taken and everything looked good. I have been coming to Dr. Crowley for over 20 years. She and her staff are great!

This was my first visit with Dr. Correll. I was greeted with kindness and professionalism. My experience was not at all what I expected. The Hygenist was gentle and careful with the X-rays and cleaning process. She was amazing. Afterwards Dr. Correll came in and spent time with me as much as I needed to ask the questions going forward where my health was concerned on extra dental work we discussed. I was so impressed. How wonderful it is to finally have peace about my teeth. I have really had a rocky road due to having gone to about a half dozen dentists in the past and having spent money and not having a change in my mouth. I moved to Charlotte exactly one year ago and knew that I would require major dental care to the tune of about forty thousand dollars. I saw a Prostodontist whom I liked but she had to send me to an oral surgeon who was extremely caviliar and told me he would need to extract all my upper teeth, and get at least four implants and place a denture on. I have a mixed cardiac history and am 73 years old . Dr. Cornell saw me at 7:10 am , examined me, gave me a treatment plan , found a fee things that other dentists had missed and told me I had a sick mouth and my best bet was to care for the abscess, fistula and lower teeth and then address the upper mouth with extractions and just a entire which will Dave me unnecessary money. She was HONEST and caring and I will start the process next week. What a relief to trust someone after all these years.

I have had my dental work done by Dr. Correll DDS for over 10 years. Her staff is excellent. It is a very comforting and friendly atmosphere. She keeps me up-to-date on prospective dental problems. She includes a detailed financial sheet to show cost and dental insurance coverage percentage. I highly recommend her Practice to new customers.

My first visit was a very caring professional experience. The lady that cleaned and X-rayed my teeth was a total professional and did an excellent job. The lady at the front desk was pleasant and very helpful and explained everything to me. I will definitely return in the future for all my dental needs. Give them a try I highly recommend them.
