Dr. Lauren E. Long (Dr. Lauren) grew up in Jasper, Indiana. She attended Butler University and graduated in 2012 with a bachelors degree in Biology. Following her time as a Butler Bulldog, she studied at Indiana University School of Dentistry where she completed her doctorate degree in 2016. After working as a general dentist for 2 years, Dr. Lauren grew to love pediatric dentistry, and pursued her residency training at Riley Hospital for Children. She served as chief resident during her final year and received the Delta Dental Award for Innovation in Oral Care Research.

Dr. Lauren is a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), Indianapolis District Dental Society (IDDS), and Indiana Society of Pediatric Dentistry (ISPD). She and her husband, Jake, who is currently pursuing his residency training in Endodontics, previously served as co-chairs of the New Dentist Committee for the IDDS. She is CPR and PALS certified, and is always seeking new ways to improve her clinical skills.

Dr. Lauren has always loved working with children in any setting (and even babysat for Dr. Katies kiddos during her time at Butler!), but particularly enjoys creating a fun and educational experience for kids at the dentist. She prides herself in getting to know each of her patients, listening to their goals, and working together to achieve them. She and Jake welcomed their first child, James, into the world in August 2019, and becoming a mom has only deepened her desire to serve her patients well. She is looking forward to being a part of the Carmel Pediatric Dentistry family!

In her free time, Dr. Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new restaurants, volunteering with Young Life and other community organizations, and biking on the Monon Trail. She is eager to provide compassionate care to each patient she encounters!

Sami joined Carmel Pediatric Dentistry in the Summer of 2020. She is originally from Jasper, IN and completed her bachelors degree at the University of Louisville. Sami was a cheerleader for the University of Louisville during her undergraduate time (GO CARDS!!). Sami currently lives in downtown Indianapolis with her fianc, Kyle. She loves the atmosphere of working in pediatric dentistry and strives to make every childs experience a positive one. In her free time, Sami loves to workout at Orange Theory or enjoy a relaxing yoga class. She also loves the outdoors, hiking and hunting.

Ashley joined our dental team full-time in 2018. She obtained her degree in Dental Hygiene at Indiana University and currently resides in Kokomo, IN. Ashley has been practicing dental hygiene since 2003 and has always worked in pediatric dentistry. Ashleys nurturing and positive attitude comfort each patient in the dental chair. Ashleys favorite part of dental hygiene is patient education. She loves teaching kids the techniques to take care of their teeth for a lifetime. Ashley and her husband have four children and are very active in sports and activities within their community. She enjoys Family Fun Friday nights with her husband and children.

Meg joined our dental team as an expanded function dental assistant in 2019. With her dynamic personality, Meg is always zipping around the office helping wherever is needed. Her loving heart and compassion to comfort children makes her an essential team member. Meg lives in Greenfield with her husband Isaiah and their two dogs, Oak and Cooper. Meg loves the outdoors and going to sporting events.

Mari has been a valued member of our team since 2007. Having many years of experience working with children, Mari knows how to comfort children during dental procedures. Mari has a magnetic personality that can light up any room she walks into and has a very calming nature about her. Mari does impeccable dental restorations even on the wiggliest of patients! Mari and her husband, Mike, both enjoy being active outdoors and within their community with their beautiful son.Fun Fact About Mari: I love to run mini marathons- I even ran to Canada!

Karley joined our dental team as a dental assistant in 2020. Karleys versatile personality maker her an important asset to our administrative and clinical team. Her compassionate and patient attitude with children make her a great team member. Karley is originally from Kokomo, which is where she currently lives. She likes to spend her free time outdoors with friends and family.

Debbie started working at Carmel Pediatric Dentistry in February 2016 as our Business Office Coordinator. Due to both clinical and business experience, Debbie has been a vital team member being able to answer any questions or concerns patients may have. Debbies extensive range of skills enables her to provide your child an enjoyable dental experience. Debbie and her husband, Brandon, have two adorable little boys. In Debbies free time, she can be found in the kitchen making yummy treats. Fun Fact About Debbie: I brush my dogs teeth at night!

Lisa joined our team in 2010 as our Financial Coordinator. Lisa has experienced many roles in the dental field starting in 2004, but found she enjoys managing financials the most. Having a kind and honest nature allows Lisa to assist anyone who may have a financial question or concern. Lisa can help you navigate any dental insurance questions you may have. Lisa is a mother of 3 boys, Owen, Jack, and Luke. In her spare time, Lisa can be found cooking and baking in the kitchen or enjoying the outdoors by camping and traveling.Fun Fact About Lisa: I absolutely love riding roller coasters.
