Dr. Dabir was born and raised in India. He completed his dental school there in 1995. He practiced as a general dentist for three years before coming to Louisiana State University, New Orleans for his residency in Pediatric Dentistry in 1998.
He graduated in 2000 and was the first student from the program to obtain a Masters degree. He taught at LSU for two years prior to making San Diego his home in 2003. As a pediatric dentist for over fifteen years, Dr. Dabir has extensive experience in providing dental care to infants, children and teens.
Dr. Dabir is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a senior staff member at Rady Childrens Hospital. He has been in private practice in San Diego County since 2003. He enjoys providing the latest treatment options, such as laser dentistry, for his patients.
Dr. Cuisia graduated from dental school at the University of the Philippines in 1994. She obtained a certificate of Externship in Pediatric Dentistry at Philippine Childrens Medical Center in 1995. In 2000, Dr. Cuisia completed her Pediatric Dentistry Residency at the Louisiana State University, New Orleans.
After residency, she then became a fellow at University of Maryland at Baltimore for 2 years where she provided care to children in underserved areas of Maryland. She also taught the residents and dental students at UMB.
Dr. Cuisia has been in private practice in San Diego since 2002. She has provided dental care exclusively to infants, children and teens for more than 10 years. She is a senior staff member at Rady Childrens Hospital.
Dr. Rayna grew up in New York and went to undergraduate and dental school at Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, OH. She graduated from dental school in 2012. Dr. Rayna knew she wanted to be a pediatric dentist from early on but also wanted further experience treating many different types of patients. Before completing her pediatric dental residency, Dr. Rayna completed a General Practice Residency at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. Dr. Rayna then went on to complete a Pediatric Dental Residency at New York University-Lutheran Medical Center in Southern California, at Rady Childrens Hospital in June 2015.
Dr. Rayna is a Diplomat of American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a staff member at Rady Childrens Hospital. She obtained extensive training during both of her residencies in treating severely medically compromised as well as special needs patients of all ages.

Absolutely wonderful experience! They took into account all the precautions I called ahead of time about and were willing to end the appointment before my child got too overwhelmed so that our next appointment we could hopefully get further. I never post reviews but if you have any kiddos that have extra needs this place is awesome!

We have a 2yr old and 4yr old and we've been going here for over a year and we are so happy with them! They are so sweet with the kids and make the entire experience fun for them. They get so excited to go to the dentist :)

Love Dr. Dabir and his staff. Always go out of their way to make a shy 4 year old feel extra comfortable. Time during routine checkups never feel rushed with Dr. Dabir as he makes plenty of time to answer any questions and make sure everything is in good order. Honestly wish my adult dentist was as thorough as Carlsbad Children's Dentistry.

They are always so kind and calming. My child actually looks forward to going to the Dentist. Never crowded and we never feel like the Doc is rushed. He's very patient and attentive. We will be lifers!

I've been taking my two little kids to Dr. Dabir for 3 years and even have had one procedure done. He is amazing with kids and so is the rest of the team which has been the same since we started seeing him. My kids actually look forward to going to the dentist! They engage the kids with sticker games whilst doing check ups. They also play movies on the ceiling to keep the bigger kids entertained.

As always, my children have had the very best experiences whenever they come to Carlsbad Childrens's Dentistry for their cleanings or for any dental work needed. I feel extremely lucky to have found Dr Dabir & his excellent team to care for our children's dental needs for over a decade and will continue to take my kids till they become adults. . This was the first dentist experience for my shy and risk-averse 4 year old.... And it was an absolute joy of an experience. The hygienist took her time educating my kiddo about every instrument before she used it, and ensured he was comfortable with each step along the way. They worked together, kid and hygienist, and I saw my sons confidence and comfort grow in real time; A joy to witness for any parent! He was thrilled about his goodie bag too! And when we arrived home, I found him in his playroom using his new toothbrush/toothpaste and was proudly brushing his teeth once again. This was a perfect patient experience!! Thank you very much and we are already looking forward to the next visit in 6 months.

Wonderful experience with Dr. Dabir and his entire staff. They were great with my one year old for his first dental visit. They had props and toys and clever ways to make it a positive first visit for my son. Everyone is friendly and happy to be there, which says a lot about the office! Thank you Dr. Dabir!

I absolutely love this place for my son. We've been coming here for quite a few years. My son needed to go under anesthesia for fillings and I was worried but they did an excellent job at keeping me calm and walking me through the process. Most importantly, Dr. Dabir did an amazing job with my son's teeth! I've been coming here ever since and my son leaves so happy everytime! Now he loves coming every 6 months (:

Super friendly staff! They made my daughter very comfortable and excited to be at the dentist! Lauren was AMAZING and walked my daughter through all the steps and what she was doing so she felt included! She also gave us some tips for my 5 month old that has her first teeth in already! They also gave me flowers, stickers, and a little soap for Mother's Day which was super thoughtful and nice! We will be coming here for a long time!

Great great dentist. My toddler loves coming here! Staff and doctor are very nice. The only thing I don't like is that after my daughter turns 4 they will transfer her to Mira Mesa. Which is like an hour from where I live.
