Dr. Mentesana is a Texas native, born in Dallas. After graduating from Jesuit College Preparatory School, he attended Baylor University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He graduated from Baylor with honors, recognized as one of Baylors top twenty seniors. Dr. Mentesana returned to Dallas where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry. He then completed a 3-year residency in Periodontics, where he specialized in implant procedures, gum grafting and the treatment of periodontal (gum) disease. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Southwest Society of Periodontics, American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association and the Dallas County Dental Society. Dr. Mentesana is passionate about dentistry and his patients. Each patient is treated as family, receiving individualized attention. He enjoys creating a comfortable and informative dental environment.

Dr. Saxon extracted a wisdom tooth and made it as painless and comfortable as possible for me. The worst thing I had to deal with was not being able to eat what I wanted for 4 days. The staff was great and really did a great job of putting up with me as I am a baby when it comes to dental procedures. They answered all my questions and put me at ease.

Dr. Mentesana and the staff in the office are knowledgeable, kind, and fun to talk to; They're efficient and communicative, even helping to remind us of upcoming appointments, which is extremely helpful when I'm as forgetful as I am, haha. With such talented people on staff here, why go anywhere else? :)

Didn't actually do anything to help me. The office is always empty and I received ZERO service but was charged 40$ each visit and somehow a balance for 40$. I brought all my own X-rays. Avoid this office

Outstanding bedside manners and extremely caring! I love Dr. Mentesana and his staff. They are wonderful! Krystyne is the sweetest and makes you feel welcomed and at ease.
