She is a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society.A native of West Yanceyville, Dr. Hodges was valedictorian of Bartlett Yancey High School. She has most recently worked in private dental practice and currently serves as a clinical instructor of dental assisting at Alamance Community College. Dr. Hodges enjoys all areas of dentistry and is committed to providing the best dental care possible, with an emphasis on patient comfort.Dr. Hodges is an active member of her church and enjoys drawing, animals, and the occasional round of golf. If shes not riding motorcycles or attending car shows with her husband, Jared, you might also find her working on her own Mustang!

ELIZABETH A. APPLEBAUM, DMD, MS Dr. Elizabeth Lizzie Applebaum is a Board Certified Endodontist, originally from Chicago, IL. She graduated from Stanford University with a BS in 2002 and Harvard University with a DMD in 2006. She received a MS in Endodontics from UNC- Chapel Hill in 2009. She recently became a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.Dr. Applebaum is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Endodontics at UNC- Chapel Hill and also teaches didactic endodontics at Wake Forest School of Medicine. She lectures often and has published articles in the Journal of the American Dental Association (JADA) and the Journal of Endodontics (JOE). She is a member of the College of Diplomates, American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association and North Carolina Dental Society.Dr. Lizzie Applebaum is married to Dr. Matt Applebaum, a pediatric dentist in Greensboro. Beginning her dental career in 1996, Margenia originally started working as a dental assistant. Working in general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and even pediatric dentistry, she has acquired knowledge in both the clinical and front office areas of the dental office. In our office, she is the unseen person who helps keep things running smoothly and in order. From insurance and accounting issues, to computer and IT problems, she is our go to person to get things done. Assisting Dr. Adams with the administrative side of the practice helps him to spend more time on patient care. She has been married to her husband Charles since 1996. They have two sons and a daughter who keep them on the go. Her oldest son has recently joined the Marines and is proud to be supporting our country. She spends most of her weekends cheering at a ballfield but also loves looking at Pinterest and is always searching for her next DIY project or idea.

Brittany started her dental career in our office as a dental assistant after graduating from Piedmont Dental Assisting in 2012. She absolutely loved caring for our patients in a clinical setting for 3 years before deciding her skills could be better utilized in our front office. She now serves as our New Patient Coordinator and is perfect for the job with her amazing customer service skills and kind heart. She is married to best friend Cold and has two children, Brody and Arley. When she isnt at work, she enjoys taking adventures with her family whether that be in the backyard or across the state.

Bridget grew up in the Winston Salem area and started working for our practice after graduating from Forsyth Technical Community College in 2017 as a dental assistant. She loved working as an assistant in the back getting to know our patients but when an opportunity presented itself in the front office she was interested in learning more. She has since started functioning as our Treatment Coordinator. Each day gives her the chance to meet new people and watch our patients become more confident with their beautiful smiles. She has an incredible ability to make our patients always feel welcome, special and unique with her fun-loving personality. Outside the office she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Phillip, her large family and taking her dogs Maverick and Zoey for walks.

Tabitha, a certified dental assistant, began her dental career in 1991. After years of being chairside with the doctor, she moved to the front office. Tabithas warm, inviting personality is a huge asset to our practice. Getting to know each patient and making them feel welcome is what she does best. Typically, shes the first smiling face you see when you arrive and the last caring voice you hear when you leave. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband Tim and their family. She enjoys reading books, gardening in her flower beds and loving on her grandbabies.

Kelsi earned her dental hygiene degree in 2007 from Guilford Technical Community College. She enjoys the opportunity to help our patients understand why oral health is so beneficial to their overall health. When she is not helping patients chairside, she is busy helping work on our hygiene schedule. Kelsi has two daughters, Laney and Emma. Kelsi got married in 2020 to her husband Robbie. In her spare time, Kelsi enjoys being with her family and friends and spending time by the pool. She also enjoys helping out at her church.

Kelly joined our practice in 2012 after graduating from Guilford Technical Community College. She has worked chairside assisting our doctors, but now loves her position as a dental hygienist. She enjoys learning whats new in dental hygiene and prides herself on being gently yet thorough. She also has a very calming personality that gives her a special ability to work with nervous or anxious patients. She enjoys getting to know her patients and seeing them achieve the smile theyve always wanted. She and her husband Ben have been married for 7 years and now have two wonderful children, Avery and Peyton. They recently purchased a new home and Kelly loves doing projects to make it her own. When she isnt busy being a mom, she enjoys shopping, cooking and participating in church activities.

Shelley began her career as a dental hygienist in 1988 after graduating from Guilford Technical Community College. She too is celebrating over a decade with our office. Shelley is an experienced and talented hygienist with a gentle touch. She enjoys getting to know each of her patients and helping them to improve their oral health. She is involved with activities at church and enjoys gardening and spending time with her family and friends. If you have 30 minutes to spare, ask her about her loveable French bulldog, Kuper.

Katie is an outgoing dental assistant who has been with our practice since 2014. She started her dental career after graduating from Piedmont Dental Assisting in 2013. Functioning as our head assistant, she excels in creating an organized and comfortable atmosphere for our patients. She loves building relationships with patients and helping them overcome dental anxiety. She is happily married to her husband Joey and they have two beautiful children, Jayce and Lily. She is very people oriented and loves spending time with family and friends. She loves to volunteer and coach her childrens sports teams. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, being outside and going fishing with her family.

Hope currently resides in Bethany with her boyfriend Keith, his two children and their big mischievous baby, Thor the English Mastiff. Hope started her career in 2014 after graduating from Piedmont Dental Assisting Inc. She is a very outgoing and compassionate person who thoroughly loves her job. She loves building relationships with patients and being able to meet new people daily. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, crafting, outdoor activities and spending time with her family and friends.

Amanda started her dental career in 2017 and has been with our practice since July 2019. She is compassionate about learning anything she can and helping wherever she can. She is married to her husband Matt and they have a sassy toddler named Paisley. Amanda enjoys cooking, spending time with family and being near water of any type.

Mohagony is one our our newest dental assistants at the office. She joined our team at the start of 2022. After receiving her bachelors in sports medicine in 2021, she still didnt feel that she had found a career path that made her happy. She stumbled across a dental assisting class and signed up. And we are all thankful she did! Right off the bat she has shown what a hard worker she is and has such a willingness to learn as much as she can. Her skill set is continuing to grow each day and she is a wonderful addition to our team. She resides in Whitsett with her fiance Dairyon and their daughter Ryder who will be one this year! In her free time she loves attending her familys sporting events and venturing out to make new memories.

Starting her dental career in 1996 and working here in the past, April is a familiar face to some of our patients. In 2012 she left the dental field to pursue a career in medical assisting and phlebotomy. Not long after that, she made her entrance back into the dental field at another office. We were fortunate that when she was looking for an assistant job in 2022, we had an opening that we needed to fill. With her many years of experience and knowledge of our policies and procedures, its been a wonderful transition for our patients. Having the opportunity to meet new people and building new relationships is the best part of her job. Born and raised in Rockingham County, she has one daughter named Reagan and a fur baby named Benji. Shes a die hard Duke basketball fan which adds to the fun around the office come ACC time. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, going to the beach, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Tiffany received her degree as a dental hygienist from Guilford Technical Community College in 1994, where she was awarded the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler award. She is celebrating a decade of practice with our office. An outstanding hygienist, Tiffany enjoys educating patients on the many treatment choices available to them. She is happily married to her husband Mike, and they have two teenagers, Shawn and Sydney. In her spare time, Tiffany enjoys jogging, spending time with family, and serving at Osborne Church in Eden.

Jamie began her dental career as a dental assistant in 2014 after graduating from The Dental Assistant Training Center. She previously worked in Raleigh but wanted to find a position closer to home. She assists our dentist chairside but is also responsible for the daily flow of our clinical staff. From ordering supplies to overseeing OSHA, she has a big part in our daily office functions. Her favorite part about dentistry is helping her patients achieve their dream smile. She is married to her best friend Will and they have two handsome boys, Jaxon and Weston. She loves to ride four wheelers on her familys farm with her boys.

Hope started her dental career in 2014 after graduating from Piedmont Dental Assisting. She is an outgoing and compassionate person. She thoroughly enjoys her job and getting to meet new people daily and being able to help them achieve a beautiful and healthy smile. The newest employee in our office, she is very eager to learn and has such a great attitude all day long. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, crafting, and spending time outdoors doing activities such as fishing.

Barbie began her career as a dental assistant in 1986 in Greensboro, where she worked for 27 years. She joined our office in 2016. Barbie enjoys getting to know our patients and making them feel comfortable during their dental visit. She is married to her husband Rodney and has 2 grown sons, Ryan and Tanner. Barbie enjoys spending time with her granddaughter Avery and with her family and friends. She also enjoys serving at her church in Greensboro.

Haley started dental assisting in 2017 after graduating from Forsyth Technical Community College. During her last rotation in assisting school, she was able to train at our office and started working immediately for us after graduation! Haley loves getting to know all of our sweet patients in the office and strives to make them feel at home. When Haley isnt working, she is usually spending time with her family and friends, playing with her puppy Mavie, or riding jet skis at the lake.

Bethany is a caring and outgoing dental assistant. She is from Pennsylvania where she obtained her Dental Assistant degree in 2014. Bethany joined our practice in August 2016. She is currently part-time at our office as she pursues her education to become a Dentist. She enjoys hiking and kayaking with her boyfriend Aaron. They have two dogs Bromley and Willy that they take along on all their outdoor adventures.
