Dr. Shaja has a passion for dental health and always strives to offer the best quality of care to all her patients. Dr. Shaja has been privileged to offer her expert advice on many advanced cosmetic and general dentistry techniques and continues to mentor her staff on the latest dental care products and procedures.
A bad childhood experience with her own dentist sparked a hight interest for Dr. Shaja to pursue dentistry. She didnt feel her family dentist was passionate enough about offering dental care for her family. She strongly believed that a family dentist should care about the overall dental care and be professional at all times. Dr. Shaja went on to enroll in the University of Baghdad dentistry school and graduated with honors at the age of 23. She was ranked as one of the top ten graduates from the dentistry department in her class. She also served as a clinical instructor and went on to open up her practice.
In 1995, Dr. Shaja moved to the U.S. and attended Loma Linda University Medical Center in California. She was able to advance her education and obtain her dentistry license to practice in the U.S. She currently manages two Caring Dentistry offices located in Sterling Heights, MI and Oak Park, MI.
I like to take the time to get to know my patients. By knowing some their habits, I can offer treatments focused towards their lifestyle. This helps patients get a better treatment as well as maintain a healthy dental hygiene.

Probably the worst dentist I been in.. they pray on the less fortunate!! And insult people of colors, they speak in Arabic assuming if your not of Chaldean decent you can understand what they are saying!! kun liasue walakin lays kalshaytan

I'm 42 and I've been going to the dentist for as long as can I remember. This was my first and last time coming to this dental office. My cleaning last no longer than 10 min. I honestly feel like she was cleaning my gums and not my teeth. I walk out of there in pain. She was messy as well. I walked in with a fresh white shirt walked out with red and water stain on my shirt. I'm not a dentist but I'm pretty sure she need to go Back to dental school and learn The proper way to do teeth cleaning

I came into this office not having seen a dentist in an uncomfortable amount of time due to dental fears. I'm happy to say that thanks to the friendly, patient, and helpful staff at Caring Dentistry that fear has left. Everyone in this office has been kind, thoughtful, and has taken the time to explain procedures to me before (and during). I needed my first ever root canal, an experience I was terrified of, but now feel very confident about. Dr. Fady and assistant Sylvia have been absolutely wonderful throughout the process. During the procedure I only had some extremely minor pain and the moment I indicated I felt anything at all, Dr. Fady stopped immediately to check the area and renumb it. Afterwards my gums were not nearly as sore as I was worried they would be. I also had a few cavities filled by Daniella, and it was such a simple and gentle procedure I didn't even need numbing! I was absolutely stunned at how quick and easy the whole process was! Overall, Caring Dentistry has been wonderful to me, and I highly recommend them. Thank you all for helping me!

One of the worst experience I have ever had, refresh dental had been approved to replace my top teeth with dentures but not the bottom from the state. So refresh just fixed my bottom teeth with fillings and cleaning, just had to pull the top and get top dentures. Come here and the first thing they do is pull the teeth on the bottom that we're just fixed, they tried the top but the pain was to intense to be able to. And I was told if I scream one more time I had to leave. So I did and went to the hospital and the whole top of my mouth is infected that's why the pain was so intense. Have to be on antibiotics for a week or twi to help with infection.. so now I'm sitting here with the bottom teeth that didn't hurt and look that bad gone and hoping the state will approved bottom dentures , which they didn't before. And in the same place with my top , which r decade , infected and need to go.

The staff that works here is amazing and super nice and I have been coming here for 4 years and I trust them with my teeth. They are super gentle and they give you fair honest prices and help you out with whatever questions you have. This is why I keep coming back

Absolutely love this dentistry! I know me and my relatives always refer people back here whether it's for braces or regular cleanings. Everyone makes the environment feel so comforting no matter what problem I came here with. Daniella is absolutely the sweetest and I refuse to go anywhere else!!

WORST DENTIST TO EVER GO TO no matter when I go I am waiting at least a hour or 2 after my appointment time. They are rude and treat you so poorly. I had My braces on for 7 years!!! Recently got them off& 5 months later I need a fill because they carved my tooth for what reason i dont Know gives me A hassle that it won't be free how is it my fault it came out mouth washing?? I would never recommend coming here. I'd rather go pay thousands of dollars some where else than to come here for free. If I could give a 0 star I would. Save your self a headache& never come here.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. !!! FOR YOUR SAFETY DO NOT GO!!!!! THEY TRY TO LIE AND MAKE UP FOR THIER MISTAKES. THE BIGGEST SCAM OF A DENTAL FRAUD. THESE PEOPLE ARE INVOLVED IN TRYING TO EXTORT MONEY FROM THE PATIENTS. They took my mothers tooth all out and she came in for wisdom tooth removal for one tooth. And they TOOK ALLLLL HER TEETH out!!! And CHARGED US!!!!!! For their mistake!!!! PLEASE STAYYYYYYY AWAYYYY!!!

This was an horrible experience the people is nice but nice don't give you gas I expressed was the situation was and they had me come in just to tell me the same thing that was on my referral... then they referred me to another clinic that does not except my insurance

Got reminders for my Saturday morning appointment and if I missed it they'd charge me a late fee. When I show up, they're closed and I reached out and no response.

Extremely rude and unprofessional front staff! They even hung up in my face!! I called back & they told me that they were too busy to answer my questions & told me to call back later. I do not recommend this office at all.
