Caring Dental Smiles of Glenview is a Glenview based family dentist practice that treats patients of all ages. We are committed to delivering the highest quality dental care and do so using advanced dental equipment. We are a cosmetic dentist that offers services like checkups, teeth cleaning, crowns, veneers and more.
Dr. Michael Minihane grew up in the Chicagoland area. He completed his undergraduate studies at Loyola University and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery D.D.S. degree at Northwestern in 1993. The confidence, experience and friendliness of Dr. Minihane and his staff enables them in providing gentle dentistry utilizing state of the art equipment and the latest techniques available today in a relaxed and comfortable environment.
While at Northwestern University, Dr. Minihane was awarded for outstanding dental achievement and demonstrated leadership. He was also honored with second place prize at the Northwestern University Dental Schools 4th Annual Dental Research Symposium.
With Dr. Minihanes easy-going demeanor, he always makes patients feel completely at ease. Dr. Minihane met his wife Julie at Northwestern Dental School and they are the proud parents of three wonderful children. During his spare time Dr. Minihane enjoys running, bicycling, and playing piano.
Dr. Julie Maurice grew up in the Edgebrook area. She completed her undergraduate studies at Loyola University and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery D.D.S. degree at Northwestern in 1995. Being the daughter of a retired dentist, Dr. Maurice has had the advantage of growing up in a dental environment. Her father practiced with her for 10 years until he passed the practice on to her in 2003. Dr. Maurices passion in dentistry is to enhance the lives and smiles of her patients by helping them achieve optimal oral health.

Really excellent experience! I was offered an appointment shortly after I called and it fit perfectly my busy schedule. The front desk person was very kind, professional and courteous. The dental assistant was pleasant and attentive. Dr. Minihane is very personable, took time to listen to my concerns and did a perfect job of checking and cleaning my teeth! I highly recommend the practice to all in need of a great dentist and a friendly dental practice in Glenview, IL!

I've been going here regularly for my bi-annual teeth cleanings. My visits are quick and efficient- minimal to no wait time, the assistant and doctor are timely, and the front desk is very welcoming and personable. Clean space. I feel very COVID safe there; they take careful precautions. Dr. Minihane makes the experience comfortable and he is a very nice guy- always asks how life is going. I would recommend anyone to go here. In fact, I did refer my friend and she loved her experience as well, even as an anxious person at any kind of doctor visits.

BEST dental cleaning!! My friend found this practice by doing a dental search of dentists in Glenview.... I am so happy he found this practice! I visited for a routine cleaning as a new patient. Dr. Minihane did such a thorough job, showed so much care, attention and detail in cleaning my teeth. I came in with grimy feeling teeth as I hadn't been to the dentist in a year and came out feeling great with incredibly clean teeth. He runs his practice with the aim to truly care for his patients without the aim to simply get them out quickly as possible. I will definitely be going back! Would highly recommend if you are looking for someone to take your teeth serious and actually CARE!

I just found a great dentist in Glenview Illinois. From the front office staff, the dental assistant, to the Dentist.. they all exceeded my expectations! I was given excellent friendly service and I would highly recommend them!

First time going to Caring Dental Smile's. Went in for a cleaning it was great totally different from other dental places great Dentist/staff very nice and clean! Definitely going back!

Well since I have not seen a dentist in 6 yrs. I was very embarrassed to see a dentist to start with. From the beginning it was a wonderful experience. The entire office staff is friendly, empathetic and bring a good positive energy to the environment. Dr. Minihane is everything I ever wanted out of a dentist. On the consultation he took a detailed medical history which is very important if you want your mouth to look just as healthy as the rest of you. No previous dentist has ever taken the time or explained that as a result of certain prescription medications side effects can add to the severe dental decay that I am experiencing. Followed by educating me on how to care for myself while continuing on the medication that is lifelong. After a thorough mouth assessment and evaluation of x-rays he developed a treatment plan that made sense. Never did I feel like he was giving me a sales pitch. (I have experienced this with the last 2 dentists that I have seen). Making additional appointments was easy , and only waited 10 days for my new crown. In the meantime Dr. Minihane made me a beautiful temporary and gave me back my smile! This is only the beginning of our treatment plan and I can not say enough about the skill, technique and beautiful workmanship he performed on my teeth.This business is definitely a diamond in the rough.

I have beyond over the top anxiety about going to the dentist. All of the employees are/were compassionate and treated me with the upmost respect and understanding. He is very gentle and extremely efficient. Highly recommend. I don't think I have ever been as proactive about cleanings etc until I found this office.
