Dr. Matthew Sorkin earned his dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine after obtaining his bachelors degree from the State University of New York at Stonybrook. He completed his general practice residency at Hackensack University Medical Center and has been awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Sorkin continues to obtain postgraduate education with recent courses in oral sedation, implant surgery, and implant restoration. This allows him to treat his patients with maximum comfort and provide complete restoration of missing teeth.
Dr. Sorkin and his wife, Gail, have two sons. He volunteers his time aiding local Boy Scouts in receiving their dentistry merit badges and speaking at local schools about careers in dentistry. He enjoys camping, hiking, swimming, biking, and skydiving.

Dr. Wasserman offers a full range of dental services for the entire family, from preschoolers to seniors. Patient care and safety is our first priority, says Dr. Wasserman, who along with his wife Dr. Jamie Leizer strongly believes in continuing education and keeping up to date with the latest dental technologies. Dr. Wasserman is excited to begin practicing in Spotswood, NJ where he will continue the tradition of family-oriented care.
Gail has been working with Dr. Sorkin since 2011. Its gratifying to work alongside Dr. Sorkin and his staff of 30 years and to see the sense of family that exists among them. Im so glad to be part of that family. Its also wonderful to see how Dr. Sorkin and the staff treat their patients like family, too. Many patients have been with him and his team for those same 30 years, and watched each others families grow. Its truly special.
Diane has been with Dr. Sorkin since 2003 when she was hired as a dental assistant. Since then, she has grown professionally in our office, attending dental hygiene school while simultaneously working as an assistant. Now, we cant imagine how we survived without her as our hygienist.
Andrew graduated from Advantage Career Institute in 2017 and recently received his CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) license in 2020. Andrew has a passion for the dental field and how it enables him to learn new things on a regular basis. His favorite part is meeting new patients. He is looking forward to receiving his RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license in the near future.
Satinder always wanted to be in the health field, or more specifically the dental field, so she chose to be a Dental Assistant. Satinder went to Brookdale Community College for her studies and is looking forward to becoming a RDA (Registered Dental Assistant). She feels this career is both personally and professionally fulfilling as they are responsible for helping patients feel comfortable and happy. Satinder loves to see people smile and likes to work in a profession where people can smile confidently.
Chioma has been in the dental field for 7 years. With both front desk and chair-side experience, she is a perfect fit for our practice and has quickly become a valuable member of our team. Chioma says she loves interacting with our patients and working with the staff here each day, because everyone is so wonderful, kind and helpful.

First time I came to Dr. Sorkin. Front desk personnel greeted me with a warm welcome and smiles. Dr. Sorkin's assistant was friendly, introduced himself, made me very comfortable, explained everything he was going to do to prepare for the treatment. Dr. Sorkin was all of the above. He practiced what he expects of his staff. Professional, friendly, comforting, explained every step of the way. I am happy to become a patient of this office.

I had recently switched to caring dental. I was with my previous dentist for over 10 years. Dr Sorkin was extremely thorough in X-rays, dental history and dental care. I did not feel rushed as a (new) patient. Every step was explained and even shared/explained my X-rays. The office is clean, staff is friendly and prompt. I felt comfortable with my dental needs being in dr sorkins hands.
