Dr. Jang pursued her undergraduate education at Binghamton University in New York and graduated with honors in 1995. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Columbia Dental School of Oral Surgery, New York in 2000. In 2001, She completed a one-year fellowship in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
Our mission is to establish a lifelong bond with our patients and we treat everyone like a member of our family. It is our belief, that the more you know about dental health, the better prepared you are to make wise decisions about your health care. We always stay informed of the latest advancements in dental technology and we will take the time to discuss different options with our patients, to arrive at the best personalized plan for each individual.
Caring Dental Group was established by Dr. Robert Ponsky over 30 years ago. In 2006, Dr. Suhae Jang took over the practice. She cares for patients with the same dedication to high-quality dentistry and exceptional customer service.
She started out as receptionist in both of our office locations over 15 years ago. Due to her outstanding work and vast knowledge in management roles she got promoted to the position as an office manager.
Sara's bright smile and warm personality makes it an inviting experience for every patient that presents to our office. She always goes out of her way to make patients feel comfortable by using her multilingual ability to overcome any language barrier with the patients.
Daisy is our certified dental assistant for both our Newtown and New Milford office. While growing up she always had an interest for dentistry leading her to study abroad and graduating as a general dentist in Colombia. She recently moved back to the United States and hopes to accomplish her dream in becoming a dentist in the country.
Now she has joined our team and assists Dr. Jang where she has expanded a lot of her knowledge in the dental field. She has earned both her certifications of knowledge in Infection Control and Radiation Health and Safety.
Meagan is the dental hygienist, in our New Milford location. She graduated from the University of Bridgeport, Fones School of Dental Hygiene in 2004. She has been a dental hygienist for 15 years, and with us since the beginning in 2004.
Meagan has the ability to make everyone who comes into the office, feel like a part of her family. She has the gift to make the most nervous of patients feel at ease, even on their very first visit. She has made such a special connection with all her patients, they adore her personality and are very committed to only having her take care of their oral health. She enjoys connecting on a personal level with her patients, while educating them about their oral health, and making them feel comfortable while in her chair.

Sarah offered a same day appointment as they had a missed appointment and I was two weeks early by accident which shows proactive customer service. Melissa is a terrific hygienist and provided tips to help maintain my teeth and smile! Dr. Jang also provided a perfect resolution to my grinding concern.

We visited Caring Dental Group today for the first time and are happy we found this wonderful office. The facility itself is clean and inviting. We were checked in quickly by a friendly front desk staff, and Daisy, the dental assistant, couldn't have been nicer or more reassuring to my daughter as she helped us during this first visit. Dr. Jang was kind and we were able to easily schedule our upcoming treatments with the help of the checkout desk.

I had a cleaning by Barb and she was great. The facility is very clean. Their prices, that insurance doesn't cover, are extremely expensive. I am handicapped and disabled. I asked to use the restroom and they did not let me use theirs in the office. I had to drag my poor body down a long hallway and then out two doors and down another hallway. Extreme pain in my body doing this. Not only do I find that offensive to a handicapped person, but to anyone who is struggling physically. Dr. Jang seems to be very competent in her field. I would recommend this office to my friends.

Have to be the best experience I've ever had at a dentist. Most often times people dread going to the dentist, it can be uncomfortable at times. Not here, I can tell they are passionate about their work and they do such a wonderful job! I'm very pleased with the services I've received here and I'd recommend this place to anyone.

I always know I am in great hands here. They are so nice and at the same time very professional. I really feel cared for when they go out of there way to explain, suggest and do the neccessary. They also tell me what is not necessary and I really appreciate that. They just retrofitted a broken tooth/ crown back into my mouth perfectly. Im not sure if most Dentists would fo that. I highly recommend this practice!!!

My experience with Caring Dental Group is without a doubt the best I've ever had. The staff is wonderful, the offices lovely and DR. Jang is truly amazing. I had a horrible experience years ago and have been anxious about going to dentists ever since. Discovering Caring Dental Group has finally put all of that behind me. Highly recommended!

Dr. Jang is fantastic. After some awful dental work being done a few years ago, and some complications to chemo, my teeth needed some serious work. The office worked extra diligent with the insurers to get as much covered as possible, and her calm, confident way made me feel very comfortable. She is conservative in her approach to the preserve the tooth structure and does not over medicate, like some practices. She along with her assistant are a great team who work quickly and efficiently. Their offices are very nice and they adhere to the highest cleanliness practices. I am so glad I made the switch.

I don't know why this is coming up on my sons account but, I was seen at Caring Dental today for an emergency. The staff and the doctor herself were phenomenal! I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to Dentists but this group made me feel completely relaxed and at ease! Thank you for the speedy appt and exactly what I needed to take care of this issue!!
