Dr. Gonzalez actually got started in the oral healthcare field as a dental assistant. Her answer for why she decided to go further is very simple she couldnt imagine doing anything else with her life! The dental world has always felt like home to her, and decades later, she still feels very confident that she chose the correct career for her unique strengths and interests.
After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona, Dr. Gonzalez pursued her dental doctorate (with the help of a scholarship) at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Following graduation, she worked as a faculty member at the school, teaching both students and patients, before moving into private practice. Today, she still strives to keep up with the latest in dental innovations through continuing education, including state-of-the-art training in dental implants.
When she isnt busy caring for smiles, Dr. Gonzalezs top priority is spending quality time with her family. She has three children and two grandchildren! Her other hobbies include traveling, being outdoors, and going on long hikes.
After studying at Indiana University, Dr. Cicero pursued his dental doctorate at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. He completes 75 hours of continuing every three years on a variety of topics in order to keep his clinical skills sharp, including restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and dental implants. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and Arizona Dental Association.
