Dr. Nancy Phan grew up in San Jose. She went to Oak Grove High School, received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis, and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco. She completed a 3-year Orthodontic Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, an affiliate of Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
Dr. Phan also obtained a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Mercy College graduate school while completing her orthodontic residency in New York. She was honored by the American Association of Orthodontists with an Award for Exceptional Interest in the Development of Cranio-facial Complex. She is a Certified Invisalign Orthodontist.
Dr. Nancy Phan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Only 1 in 3 orthodontists in the country is board certified. It is the highest standard of excellence in orthodontics. To become board certified, an orthodontist has to pass a rigorous set of written, clinical, and oral examinations plus credential verification and need to be re-certified every ten years to maintain board certified status. Outside the office, Dr. Phan keeps herself busy taking care of her five children. She enjoys reading, traveling, painting, participating in many outdoor activities, and spending time with her family. As a mother of five, she is very nurturing and attentive to her children.As an orthodontist, Dr. Phan extends the same warmth and attention to her patients. She is passionate about orthodontics and makes sure each patient achieves a beautiful and radiant smile at the end of treatment.
Dr. Phan is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Board of Orthodontics, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Santa Clara Dental Society.

Care Orthodontics truly cares about their patients and goes out of their way to create connections and a positive community. Walking into their office felt like walking into your own home, and the doctors, nurses, and staff are all wonderful to be around. The treatment is very effective and quick if you work with them and keep to the treatment plan, and they have a variety of treatment options for whatever suits your needs. I'm so glad that I chose Care Orthodontics for my braces treatment, because they always made sure I was comfortable, pain-free, and as convenient as possible.

I started my journey with looking up different orthodontists online via Yelp. I consulted a few places and ended up choosing Care Orthodontics (Dr. Phan). What I liked most is that Dr. Phan's treatment plan was very details and clear. Also the payment plan was simple and easy to understand. I had a crossed bite and crooked teeth due to an accident. Dr. Phan explained to me about the treatment process and enthused about my case make me feel very comfortable about my journey. Between Phuc and Tina , they are amazing. They are absolute skilled and knowledgeable team. During my treatment, they were genuinely very nice and treated me carefully in every visit. I finally had my bite corrected and my teeth straighten. It was a long journey; however, I am very happy with the result. The experience with Dr. Phan and her team was excellent. I would recommend Care Orthodontics to anyone who needs their teeth corrected. They are the best choice!

I'm so grateful for Dr.Nancy and her staff! L my Dr.Nancy is an outstanding orthodontist. I finished my treatment (20 months) with her and I am thrilled with the result! I have a beautiful smile. I feel much more confident when I show my off my teeth. Dr. Nancy is great to work with. All of the staff are great. They are all extremely professional, friendly and accommodating. (I'm gonna miss y'all so much). My wait time was always minimal and easily got appointments. Every visit was enjoyable. I would recommend Dr. Nancy to anyone who wants a beautiful smile! My boyfriend, Van, has gone to this Ortho location for two years and finally got his braces removed! The service here is amazing and the workers here really care for their patients' well-being. The work dedicated throughout the journey will forever be appreciated, now my boyfriend smiles nonstop.

I struggled to find a place that I believe would give me the best end result and after yelping and researching many orthodontics I finally found Care Orthodontics. Angie was the first person I got in contact with and she was very helpful. I was able get in for a consultation very quickly and was provided all the information I needed. Dr. Nancy Phan and her team did an amazing job. They were quick but not rushing through anything and would listen to any issue you had. The whole procedure for me took nearly 4.5 years due to COVID shutting everything down for a year. But after they were opened back up to the public they immediately got to work with my teeth after the long delay. After many years the outcome turned out better than before. Dr. Nancy and her team are amazing at what they do and you won't regret choosing them for the best result you want for your teeth.

I got my braces off earlier today and am very happy with the results! The treatment I receivers was great and the facility itself was very neat and clean. Everyone was always nice and respectful in the 2 1/2 years I was there!

This place provides a reasonable price to get your braces. My parents have tried other orthodontist places to get braces but most were really expensive with unreasonable alternatives to rearrange the teeth where I had to remove my two front teeth. Care Orthodontist places worked out with my two front teeth instead when they put on my braces. After 2 years and half, I'm happy with the alignment of my teeth without having to remove my two front teeth! The staff were kind to work with. However, it is difficult to get drop-ins for any issues that occurs in the braces so make sure to call first then visit. I would recommend this place to get braces for.

Very great orthodontics place. All staff was always very communicative and supportive, can see a huge difference in my teeth from when I my braces to when I took them off. Would definitely recommend coming here if you need an orthodontist. Won't disappoint.

Very satisfied with my results! I had my treatment for 29 months, I had really bad teeth before, but now my teeth are really nice and straight. The process was very smooth, and the staff were the nicest people. I would definitely recommend this place to those of you who are looking to get braces.
