Dr. Sowmya Ramakrishna uses her extensive experience to provide the best quality care to her patients in a gentle and compassionate manner. She received her DDS degree from the University of Michigan Dental School in 2011. She is diligent in her pursuit to stay current in her profession and provides leading dental care utilizing state-of-the-art technology and procedures.
Dr. Ramakrishna is committed to developing and maintaining a long term relationship with her patients who range from babies to seniors. She takes the time to talk to each of her patients and jointly determines a treatment plan tailored to provide the best option based on each individuals oral health needs. We welcome you and your family to come and experience the level of care we can provide for you.
Louise is originally from the U.K and moved to the United States with her family several years ago. She has many years of customer service experience through various positions she has held in her career. Her cheerful, funny, and helpful nature makes her a favorite person in the office and to our patients. Louise loves to learn new skills and take on additional roles and responsibilities.
Alex is an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan double majoring in Biopsychology, Cognition and Neuroscience and Environmental studies. She is hoping to pursue dental school after graduation. She is from Brighton, MI and enjoys travelling spending time with friends and family and outdoor activities such as swimming, skiing and snowmobiling. We are excited to have Alex as a part of our team.

Everyone in the office is super friendly and kind. They communicate clearly about what is needed and what options you have. The dentist is so gentle. It was the first time I ever left the dentist without sore gums. They were so patient with my son who breathes through his mouth, and worked hard to make sure he was comfortable, offering lots of breaks, sitting up more, etc. Highly recommend this office. Their name is very fitting for the service we received.

Very positive experience. They were all very sensitive to my issues and concerns. The communication was wonderful. I walked away very satisfied with X-ray process and deep cleaning. I feel they are committed to helping me maintain optimal dental health.

Not crazy about going to the dentist, but the staff at Care Family Dental made the entire experience much more tolerable, almost enjoyable, almost!

Dr. Ramakrishna and her team are kind, gentle, funny, and flexible. I actually look forward to my cleanings. I floss more often now because I know they care about me and I don't want to disappoint them. If you need a dentist, don't hesitate. This place is a gem.

We love Care Family Dental! Dr Ramakrishna is gentle and attentive. She is very caring and explains things well. We have found it easy to make appointments that fit our schedule. The office is always very clean. The staff are all quite pleasant. Highly recommended!

We used to go to another practice and felt that they constantly push products and services on us. We switched over to care family dental and have never been happier. Dr. Soumya takes so much care to spend enough time to explain what needs to be done and gives suggestions for treatment. Our kids felt very much at ease with her. I really feel that I finally found our family dentist!

Dr. Ramakrishna is an experienced professional who takes time to explain the procedures and answer questions. I had a root canal done and felt zero discomfort through the entire process. This office follows all Covid protocols. Highly recommend.

I first came to this clinic two years ago and really liked it. They talk you through everything and the X-rays are in the same room so you don't have to move around. The doctor is amazing! She goes over everything with you and explains things easily. Every time I call I'm greeted as if I'm family and they were able to get me an extremely quick. I don't see myself switching dentists ever again!

Dr. Ramakrishna and her staff are amazing - we can't say it enough! They have thorough COVID safety protocols in place and are also thorough in their dental examinations. Dr. R approaches dental health in a holistic way, providing helpful tips regarding brushing, diet, and what to keep an eye on for continuous care. Our whole family goes there and my kids love her. She is always prepared with entertainment for the kids to keep their minds occupied. She is so thoughtful and patient, especially with one of my more anxious children. She is very responsive to questions and provides great guidance regarding periodontal and orthodontic care. We are so grateful for her and her staff!
