Dr. Carrara and her staff are truly great professionals. I say this based upon my experience in their office. Dr. Carrara on more than one occasion has relieved me of a painful situation. Performing root canal therapy on my infected teeth she demonstrated both competency and kindness. Dr. Carrara took the time to thoroughly explain her treatment plan for my ailment. At the same time she got to know me as a person allowing me to feel more comfortable. I believe that is the difference between a good professional and a great professional.

THANK YOU to Care Endontics for making me feel taken care of through receiving a root canal one week before my wedding! Their team was incredibly communicative and patient and made sure that I knew exactly what was going on and why. Dr. Reis helped me to make an informed decision about whether or not to receive the root canal after my clear aligners caused some trauma to my #7 tooth and I am so glad that I did it. My tooth looks and feels so much better and I am so thankful that their team was able to get me in so quickly and make sure I was taken care of. They were all very kind and helpful and I'm so appreciative of this team!

Fantastic care from Dr. Ries and staff. Needed to get in for an emergency root canal, and while other places turned me away for later appointments, Care got me in that day. They also went out of their way to find me an oral surgeon that could see me immediately for a follow-up procedure. Don't know where I would've been in all of this without their help.

Phenomenal! This may be first official review I have written for a service provider. Referred by dentist for root canal in preparation for crown. I was impressed with politeness of reception during initial scheduling and then rescheduling. From front desk, to hygienist, to the services provided by doctor were professional and efficient. Highly recommended.

I was referred to Dr. Carrara by my dentist for a root canal. The office staff was welcoming and even cracked some jokes with me which I appreciated as it helped lighten the mood. I mean, who's excited to get a root canal? Not only did Dr. Carrara take the time to explain to me what she was going to do, she even sparked up a conversation while the Novocain kicked in. During the procedure she made sure I was comfortable and before I knew it, it was already over. Usually, I leave the dentist office drained of energy due to being stressed while sitting in that chair. Not this time. I actually left with a smile and the day after I'm in less pain than expected. They even called to check up on me. Too often Dentist tend to be cold and are focused on "getting the work done" instead of treating the patient with care and class. Not here! I'm thoroughly impressed with this office and would recommend them to anyone that may have anxiety about needing a root canal or any procedure that may require a specialist. Thank you!

Rude receptionist, I had to wait over an hour after my scheduled appointment time, they upcharge you 175 dollars for an unnecessary scan (I have never been charge for that scan in any dentist office), root canal work not great either. Things like this had never happened to me at other dentists. Real bad experience.

The office...state of the art and beautiful! However, the positive experience at CARE starts from the first call in to make an appointment. The administrators are sweet and helpful and do whatever they can to accommodate patients. They talk through insurance, payment plans, follow up appointments & care and always greet and farewell patients with a smile. When the appointment starts, the hygienists are friendly and accommodating as they conduct x-rays and prep for Dr. Carrera. When it's time for the procedure, expect Dr. Carrara to chat for a few moments about life, followed by a review and outline of the procedure she is about to do. Dr. Carrera is an incredible Endodontist with a wonderful bedside manner. She always does whatever she can to make her patients feel comfortable and welcome both before and following up after the appointment. She listens intently and is especially amazing for any patient with severe anxiety (Like me!). Her work is impeccable. I have visited her for dental work more than I would like, but I'm always excited to visit this office and share time with the entire CARE team. I never would have thought a root canal could be pleasant, but it always is at CARE. I love this office, team and highly recommend to anyone in need of work to make an appointment here. As you may already know, not all Endos are created equal or if you find one, most likely their staff makes the experience a hassle, but this place is the best all the way around. Thank you CARE team!!

I could of hugged Dr. Carrara! She's amazing at what she does and fit me in for an emergency root canal. I was having discomfort and I was terrified of a root canal due to past experiences. She sat down and talked to me and assured me I'd be ok and that's what I needed. This is the kind of service you look for when your dealing with anxiety over teeth! Thank you so much doctor! I went for a consult on a potential root canal based on tooth cracking on popcorn kernel. I didn't end up needing root canal. I then had the tooth extracted at another location. They billed my insurance $5k to look at my mouth for 20 mins. Thats right, $5,000. I didn't have any procedures done here. Six months later they are trying to bill me another $195.

The receptionist seemed to have narcissistic emotional problems outright accusing me of LYING about an appointment mix up. The appointment mixup was her responsibility not mine. 2. I was forced to see D. Reis instead of Dr. Carter's. I had a good experience with her 3years before. Dr. Reis lacked a bedside manner.

They wanted to charge $175 for an unnecessary imaging scan that they claimed is not covered by insurance, on top of the charge for the root canal. Passive-aggressive front person was rude and impolite telling us to "take it up with your insurance". I knew it was a scam, so we said we are not getting the procedure done and we walked out. Called another office and got a next day appointment and got the root canal done. No unnecessary imaging scan and upcharge of $175+$35PPE charge which this office tried to charge me. At the other office, I just paid the insurance copay at a Brand New amazing office with pleasant staff. After the procedure was done, told the other Endodontist about the scan charge at this office, and was told it is a way for them to create more revenue and cheat the patient. Do your homework before going here, they will try to nickel and dime you with unappreciated attitude and unpleasant demeanor, specially the front person. STAY AWAY! Responding to their response on 10/24/2020: Just see for yourselves, about the rude, passive-aggressive sub-standards of this self-proclaimed "specialty office"; who talks like that? "You were not a good fit for our office", NO, that's not how it works, Patients choose a dentist, dentist don't choose Patients, therefore YOU were not a good fit for me or anyone else for that matter when your attitude and self-righteousness is evident and abundant. And, yes, NO ONE should be a fit for your office while attempting to conduct an unnecessary procedure that accounts to malpractice and fraud. 3D imaging scan is a standard of care for pts who NEED it, not everyone who walks into the door. Your office didn't even bother to do an evaluation first with x-rays to see if I needed an imaging-scan; and that's negligent, ignorant and sub-standard. As not everyone with a headache needs an MRI, not everyone who walks into your office for a root-canal needs a 3D imaging scan. The other office I had my root canal done after the fiasco scam at your office is a large Endodontics practice with Multiple offices in Chicagoland area so they are in business good enough to judge your fraudulent practices. You want to scam pts and scam them with unnecessary imaging and make more money, that's on you! I will try to make my voice heard everywhere and anywhere I can, and I will.
