Dr. Patel grew up in North Attleboro Massachusetts where he graduated from high school in the top 10% of his class in 1995. He attended and graduated from Tufts University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry in 1999. Dr. Patel has always been passionate about oral cancer and was a research associate at Harvard University studying oral cancer while publishing several research papers in prestigious scientific journals. In 2006 Dr. Patel graduated from the University of Connecticut School Dental Medicine with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
After dental school, Dr. Patel completed his residency program at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY where he obtained extensive experience in all aspects of modern dental care which includes placing/restoring dental implants, third molar extractions, molar root canals, and cosmetic dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Connecticut State Dental Association (CSDA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM) and the Middlesex County Dental Society.
Continuing his ideal of excellence in dentistry, Dr. Patel persists with continuing education courses on implants, root canals, and cosmetic dentistry. He is active in the community volunteering for both CTMOM (Connecticut Mission of Mercy) and Give Kids a Smile day where he provides free dental care to the underserved people of Connecticut. He is also a board member of the Hispanic Alliance, which provides scholarships, loans and mentorship to the Hispanic community of south east Connecticut. When he is not working, Dr. Patel likes to spend time with his family, travel, read, play basketball and has recently taken up golf.

The staff at this office is extremely kind and helpful. I brought in a patient with special needs and I couldn't believe the patience, respect and compassion exhibited by The Dentist and his assistants. They handled the challenge with great professionalism and heart. Such mannerisms are hard to find these days. I highly recommend them!

I been coming here for years and always had such a great experience the staff is wonderful including the girls in the front Saribel and Jazmin. I did for the first time had a bad experience with Dr. Jung he didn't numb me enough and when I told him he seemed bothered and annoyed he was rude and didn't finish the work completely when I had an appointment for it. He was very unprofessional gossiping about staff while he was working on me his assistant seemed uncomfortable that he was gossiping. Overall I love this place but while never go to dr. Jung again!

I def rec here i been coming here for over 21 years i never had issue or any complaints. There all great and nice. I been bringing my 9 year old daughter since she started seeing the dentist. She likes here too cause ladies and dentist make her laugh so thanks Care Dental Ctr A++++++++++

I felt very insecure about my first visit. I havent had dental insurance for many years so I knew it would reflect on what these professionals were going to see. The staff were very professional but in a personable way. The dental assistant explained all that she was doing and explained what the purpose of it was and what the outcome would be. The dentist explained the treatment plan and it eased my anxieties. The front staff was a very friendly and informative young lady that was also super helpful.

Worst dental company ever been too i was informed two days before my appointment that they weren't able to do my tooth extraction and all the kept saying was we do apologize but were not trying to correct the mistake they made or get me an appointment to get my tooth extracted they told me to find another place to get it done. I will be tell my friends, family, and coworkers to never go to this dental office.

Thats how i felt ...once this crew & dentist finished with me...I shook the dentist hand.truly broke me out of my phobia,I've had for years great job these guys you see there qualifications @ work From the receptionist to the crew, great work made me feel confident...of coming back definitely to Care Dental Center bringing my wife too...

I was a patient of Dr. Cho in New London CT.. Having a history in the dental office field some time ago, it didn't take long to recognize how skilled of a provider he was. Upon learning that he had relocated to the Hartford office, the distance was a non consideration.. I would be more than inclined to make the drive. I just had two crowns inserted which I drove one hour to Hartford because I only wanted Dr Cho to do them. They are perfect! The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Even with all of the grinding sounds and instruments, I felt nothing! I may as well been resting in a beach hammock!
