I was established as a new patient, and my very first appointment was scheduled in a timely manner, (late 2016/early 2017). Staff was courteous at that time. I need extensive work. I expressed this to the dentist, the dental assistant, and the scheduling staff. I was given an appointment for a routine cleaning, simple enough. At that time I worked in law enforcement. I had to cancel the cleaning appointment they gave me due to work (I canceled more than 48 hours in advance). After that cancelation I have had issue after issue with this dentistry. I tried to reschedule the missed cleaning, I told the receptionist the allotted days I had off, up to 2 months out, and they gave me an appointment 4 months out, I mean, really? As I said above, I need extensive work and I was experiencing a lot of pain. It seemed like I was being punished for canceling an appointment. I am sorry, life happens. Work happens, unavoidable situations occur. I had a rotating shift that wasn't permanent at that time and I explained to the receptionist that I could not predict what days I would be working in 4 months time. I could not take off from work. She said it was fine, if I had to cancel give them notice and it would be okay. That time came, and I called again, I couldn't keep the appointment due to them scheduling months out. I gave up. My teeth have deteriorated even further. I am now in pain again, this time severe. I call Caldwell and ask for an emergency appointment. At first the receptionist said "sure, we can get you in asap for an emergency appointment", then she put me on hold for 3-4 minutes, and then tells me that due to my missed cleanings and such I would need to see a hygienist first and that could take months. Okay, I have an abscess. I'm on antibiotics. I have been in immense pain since before the holidays, and they are putting me on a waiting list (punishing me) because I canceled my prior appointment due to their ridiculous wait time?! Folks, no need to go here, they have a plenty of business obviously and they don't want your money. Unless you can foresee the future schedule with a different dental clinic.

My family and I (2 adults and 2 children) have been going to Cardwell dentistry for about a year and a half now. We go for cleanings and have had other procedures as well. We have been so happy with our service at Cardwell. They are thorough, compassionate, and the work they do is superior to work we have had from other dentists (outside of the area). My 8 year old daughter has a real fear of shots. When I asked her how her filling went she was totally casual and said that they put the "sleepy juice" (topical anesthetic) on and she closed her eyes and it was easy. She had no idea there was a shot involved! I highly recommend this office. Truly everyone who I have come into contact with is capable and kind - which is a pretty good combo.

Very sad - can't get someone on the phone to reschedule an appointment that was scheduled for eclipse day (8/21 at 2pm). Just get phone mail. Perhaps she needs to engage Patrick or his wife on a part time basis to learn patient service.. I am a DuPont client from St Pete. There was a congenital relationship between practices.

I've been going to Cardwell (and previously Kollist) for several years and they've always taken good care of my teeth. The office is clean and the staff are friendly. They accept WCU's dental insurance.
