Dr. Roberts has performed hospital dentistry and surgery at Stanford University MedicalCenter and Lucile Packard Children's Hospitalsince 1995. He is also on the faculty at University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. He treats a variety of oral and maxillofacial conditions, including dental trauma and infection, dental implant and restorative reconstruction, surgical tooth extraction, bone and tissue grafting, conventional and surgical endodontic procedures, dental oncology care of cancer patients, as well as orofacial pain treatment.
He has presented CMElectures and Grand Rounds to numerous Departments at Stanford, as well as teaching Residents andFellows at Stanford Medical Schooland the Palo Alto VA. He alsolectures in thePhysician Assistant Program at Stanford.
During his nearly a quarter of a century of militaryservice, he was one of the leading researchers on combat trauma and the pathophysiology of projectile wounds. Hecurrently serves as amember of the Council on Peer withthe California Dental Association and is an Anesthesia Evaluator for the CaliforniaStateDental Board. Dr. Robertsis frequently asked to speakon a variety oftopics to organizations both in the US and internationally.
Originally from Michigan, Dr. Kalinowski attended Grand Valley State University and obtained his DMD from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed a residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital with extensive experience treating medically complex patients in an ambulatory and inpatient setting.
Dr. Kalinowski is licensed to preform IV sedation and is also working at Stanford University in the section of Dental Medicine and Surgery. At Stanford, he performs medically necessary dental clearance and extractions for patients preparing for cardiac surgery, radiation therapy, or organ transplantation. He also performs surgical treatment of infection and trauma to the teeth and supporting alveolar bone.
Dr. Lee received her doctorate degree from New York University College of Dentistry. She then returned to the Bay Area and completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS), followed by advanced training in hospital dentistry at Stanford Medicine.
Currently, Dr. Lee serves as Staff Dentist, training dental residents at the VAPAHCS while also managing the emergency dental clinic. At the VA, she performs medically necessary dental care to rid bacterial disease in patients being treated for cancer, cardiovascular disease, organ transplant, and joint replacements. She continues to maintain her clinical privileges at Stanford University Hospital.
Spending her childhood and early professional years in the East Coast, Midwest, and abroad has provided Dr. Lee with an enhanced awareness for patient needs from various backgrounds. She is an avid hiker and runner. In her free time, Dr. Lee enjoys traveling, culinary experiences, and volunteering for global outreach programs.
Originally from Wisconsin, Emily attending Madison Area Technical College and obtained her degree in Dental Hygiene. She is board and state certified in Dental Hygiene in both Wisconsin and California.

We have been fortunate to have Dr. Roberts and the team at Cardinal Dental caring for our family for close to 20 years. Kind people with superior skills and excellent judgement. Don't know what else you could ask for in a dental team. On top of that, we do not have dental insurance but I have always found the fees to be very reasonable.

I was referred here by my co worker as he said he puts a lot of trust and praise into this dental office. I'm naturally very anxious when it comes to dental work and I admit I haven't taken care of my teeth too well, but the workers made me feel very at ease. The office is clean and modern which is a plus looking for a new place, they answered any questions I had, very knowledgeable employees and helped put me at ease. I had my wisdom tooth extracted that was growing sideways causing a cavity to the molar next to it, they were able to extract the tooth and find a way to do a filing same visit! They walked me through the healing process and what to do, I healed up quite fast and well with the surgery. Would definitely come back for routine visits, my anxieties with dentist have definitely dwindled down.

GO TO CARDINAL DENTAL!! I got all 4 of my impacted wisdom teeth removed with sedation by Dr. Roberts. Great experience. Amazing staff!! They are so sweet and caring about their patients. If I could give more stars I would :)

Cardinal Dental is absolutely amazing! I had multiple consultations about my wisdom teeth and Dr. Roberts was by far the best. His years of experience and many happy clients makes me confident that I found the right doctor. The staff was also incredibly friendly!
