I get it. I really do. Going to the dentist can be an unpleasant experience.Believe me. If you had to take blood from my arm you had better treat me like a 4 year old and there had better be a lollipop with my name on it when were done!Thats why Ive made it my mission to bring comfort to every person that comes into Cardinal Dental.
Allow me to introduce myself. Im Cyndi Blalock, DDS and I am the founder of Cardinal Dental in St. Peters, MO. I became a dentist so I could help give people a reason to smile and beautiful teeth to do it with.
Dr. Rick Blalock is known for his treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders and orofacial pain. A graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic, Dr. Rick has taken advanced studies in the treatment of this complex joint. He and his wife, Dr. Cynthia Blalock, take a collaborative approach to treating patient with TMJ pain. He is the owner of Cardinal Physical Medicine that is located next door to Cardinal Dental.
What I like about Cardinal Dental is that my coworkers are awesome! The atmosphere is very fun and relaxed. The music is a plus. What sets us apart from other offices is that we all work very well together to give our patients the best care.

I love my job at Cardinal Dental because I get to work with a dentist that is passionate about patient care. I also get to work with a team that treats our patients like family. We get to laugh while we improve our dental familys oral health, which impacts their complete health. I love my job! What makes Cardinal Dental different is we have a team of people that genuinely care about our patient and they find the time to educate, care for and listen to the patient as people. We care!

I was referred to them by someone after a filling fell out at the worst possible time. I called explaining what happened, they got me right in, and really took care of me. It's a great environment, the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, overall a great experience. Dr. Holdener and assist Michi were outstanding!

I broke a tooth and needed an immediate dental solution. I called Cardinal Dental and they got me in the same day. I was treated by Dr.Holdener. She reassured me I was in good hands. The next day I was in, treated, and crown installed ON THE SAME VISIT!! Dr.Holdener is an AMAZING Dentist and her assistant Michi was equally AMAZING. The team at Cardinal Dental run a 5Plus practice!!!

Be prepared to be pressured to get fillings.. I had been coming here for a few years and was told we could watch a few spots that came up on x-ray but wasn't bothering me. With each visit it became more obvious they were just interested in getting me to agree to them to do more work. Then today I was told that I could no longer be a patient because I just wanted to wait any watch these. Horrible pressure to get fillings then dumped if you say no. Don't recommend this place at all.

We had such a pleasant experience for my daughter's tie consultation. They were so helpful and informative and playful with my baby! Every single person in this office was so nice and upbeat! I highly recommend them

The staff was pleasant and professional from the start! I was recommended to Cardinal Dentist and they did not disappoint. They managed to squeeze an appointment in for me and it was really appreciated. Very welcoming office...very clean and comfortable. Thank you Ladies for just being so warm and so nice!

Dr. Blalock and her staff were courteous, friendly and professional. They took the time to be careful, helpful and informative the entire time I was there. I had a painful tooth and they were extra careful in working with me and determining the cause and alleviating my pain. Highly recommend!

I took both of my daughters (ages 11 months and 8 years) to have Dr. Blalock revise their lip and tongues ties. We met Dr. Blalock, she examined the girls to make sure they were ready for revisions, and used her laser to correct their ties that day! She was easy to talk to, listened to my questions, and gave me some good advice on stretches and outside work my kiddos might need in order to help their mouths and muscles heal properly. She and her staff praised my oldest for doing such a good job and it really helped her to feel more comfortable with the whole situation. They also called the next morning to check up on my girls and see if I had any other questions. They were thorough and the whole staff very clearly loves helping kids and moms with this type of thing. I highly recommend using Cardinal Dental for tie revisions for kids of any age!

Got a bill 6 months after having a filling done first part that was very un professional. Second it's taken me over 90 days to get a hold of them. They keep send the bill and notice that they are sending my bill to collection yet I had called them over 30 times in 90 days with no answer or call back. Most unprofessional dental office I've ever been to.
