Born and raised in California, he is proud to serve the Bakersfield community which he calls home. As an orthodontist, Dr. Cardall loves to make his patients happy and more confident by providing high-quality, genuine care and creating first-class smiles and healthy bites.
In Dr. Cardalls free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, who is a major driving force behind his passion for orthodontics. His wife, Lindsey, and his three children are his greatest supporters. Dr. Cardall first decided he wanted to become an orthodontist when he was going through his own braces treatment at 14 years old. He had a poor experience with his orthodontists assistant, who hammered bands around his back teeth and left him with a terrible headache the next day. Dr. Cardall thought, If I ever became an orthodontist, I would change the way we did things so kids were treated gently and had a much better time at the office.
Dr. Cardall has received extensive education and hands-on training in dentistry and orthodontics from several of the nations top colleges and dental schools where he graduated #1 in his class and earned one of the highest scores on the National Dental Board Exam.
Dr. Cardall has repeatedly been voted Top Orthodontist by local dentists (see Bakersfield Life Magazine, Jan 2018 and Jan 2019). His previous office, Montano & Cardall Orthodontics, was voted Best Orthodontist in The Bakersfield Californian annual Best of Kern Readers Choice Poll five of the six years he was there!

Clear aligners provide the ideal amount of comfort and convenience while straightening your teeth and correcting misalignment. Not to mention, clear aligners are practically invisible, yet highly effective when Dr. Cardall plans your treatment! No matter your profession, hobbies, or what your day may bring, you can rest assured that an invisible force is at play, gradually straightening your teeth throughout the day and night.
Made from smooth, flexible, BPA-free plastic, clear aligners mold comfortably to the natural arch of your teeth. These aligners apply just enough pressure to enforce realignment of your jaw and of individual teeth.
Depending on your specific orthodontic condition, Dr. Cardall will create your personalized treatment plan to achieve your unique smile goals. Clear aligners are typically swapped out every 1 to 2 weeks, depending on your personalized treatment plan. They can be removed while you eat, while you brush and floss, and are intended to be worn around 20-22 hours per day to ensure a consistently effective and efficient treatment process. We will continue to monitor progress with each visit and re-customize each new set of clear aligners, based on your specific orthodontic development and progress.

My son and I both have braces here. We are extremely happy with our results and could not be happier with the service. I struggle with anxiety and going through this process was scary for me Dr. Cardall and his staff were extremely patient and kind and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Dr. Card all and his staff have been so amazing. After our previous orthodontist retired, we transferred to dr. Cardall. They have been so patient and great with my teen. Got her case finished promptly and her smile looks just gorgeous! So grateful for them.

Dr. CARDALL and his staff take service to another level. They are kind, welcoming, knowledgeable, and patient. I was always welcomed with a smile. Before my treatment with doctor. Cardall, I was not happy with my smile, now that I just finished and got my braces off I can say I am happy and satisfied with my smile, I would totally recommend CARDALL ORTHODONTICS, great staff, great clean office absolutely loved it.

This employee of yours with a Chevy Equinox cut me off at the Mcdonald's drive thru on Mnt Vernon and Columbus with a nasty attitude . If this is the people you employ than I would look somewhere else for my dental needs . P.S I have seen her at your business working there , I've been there , she is one of your employees , I've seen this car in your parking lot, stop lying. She even had one of your gowns on when she was rude to me. So my "frustation" is well placed , lier.

Coming from a background where I was the first to have braces, this office made about 2yrs of braces appts both manageable and wonderful to someone who didn't know what to expect. I deal with dental anxiety and ask questions constantly because of it, and their staff was always patient and informed me of everything I had asked, making my experiences comfortable and great! I arrived with a terrible bite and a possibility of surgery to no more jaw pain and a great smile to match, and I'm so thankful for it. Highly recommend!

Cardall and his staff are amazing 5 star experience for sure! They made me feel super welcomed and were always super kind And helpful! I started my Invisalign journey with them in February and it went so smooth had no problems at all. I love my smile so much, it was so worth it! Btw there new location is sooo nice and clean. Everyone at Cardall Orthodontics was so comforting and kind. I had an emergency with my lingual retainer and was panicking and they were able to get me in and patched up within 30 minutes. Such a wonderful team full of kindness and professionalism!
