Born and raised in California, he is proud to serve the Bakersfield community which he calls home. As an orthodontist, Dr. Cardall loves to make his patients happy and more confident by providing high-quality, genuine care and creating first-class smiles and healthy bites.
In Dr. Cardalls free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, who is a major driving force behind his passion for orthodontics. His wife, Lindsey, and his three children are his greatest supporters. Dr. Cardall first decided he wanted to become an orthodontist when he was going through his own braces treatment at 14 years old. He had a poor experience with his orthodontists assistant, who hammered bands around his back teeth and left him with a terrible headache the next day. Dr. Cardall thought, If I ever became an orthodontist, I would change the way we did things so kids were treated gently and had a much better time at the office.
Dr. Cardall has received extensive education and hands-on training in dentistry and orthodontics from several of the nations top colleges and dental schools where he graduated #1 in his class and earned one of the highest scores on the National Dental Board Exam.
Dr. Cardall has repeatedly been voted Top Orthodontist by local dentists (see Bakersfield Life Magazine, Jan 2018 and Jan 2019). His previous office, Montano & Cardall Orthodontics, was voted Best Orthodontist in The Bakersfield Californian annual Best of Kern Readers Choice Poll five of the six years he was there!

Not to mention, clear aligners are practically invisible, yet highly effective when Dr. Cardall plans your treatment! No matter your profession, hobbies, or what your day may bring, you can rest assured that an invisible force is at play, gradually straightening your teeth throughout the day and night.
Made from smooth, flexible, BPA-free plastic, clear aligners mold comfortably to the natural arch of your teeth. These aligners apply just enough pressure to enforce realignment of your jaw and of individual teeth.
Depending on your specific orthodontic condition, Dr. Cardall will create your personalized treatment plan to achieve your unique smile goals. Clear aligners are typically swapped out every 1 to 2 weeks, depending on your personalized treatment plan. They can be removed while you eat, while you brush and floss, and are intended to be worn around 20-22 hours per day to ensure a consistently effective and efficient treatment process. We will continue to monitor progress with each visit and re-customize each new set of clear aligners, based on your specific orthodontic development and progress.
