I had such a wonderful experience at Captivating Smiles. The front office staff is very inviting and attentive to each person who walks through the office doors, and the dental assistants are knowledgeable professionals who are highly informative and express a deep sense of care and concern for all patients. The dentist, Dr. Carter-Robinson, is a CLASS ACT! As soon as I met her, she made me feel extremely comfortable, which put me at ease. Dr. Carter-Robinson just has a very unique way of connecting to her patients! Her professionalism and bedside manner are exemplary to say the least. After 20 years of searching, I have finally found the African American female dentist for me! Schedule your appointment TODAY! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Dr. Carter- Robinson is great, she is very knowledgeable and very kind-hearted. If you're looking for a great dentist, she is that, and I would definitely recommend her! I previously put up a 5 star review after my first visit last year only because they asked, and I just couldn't leave it at 5 after my encounters with her front desk staff a couple visits later. I'll bypass details, but I would recommend that if you decide to visit them, be sure to read all the fine print and ask EVERY question that pops up in your head. I would also recommend you knowing your insurance plan and what all it does & doesn't cover. If you're self-pay like I was, be sure to ask for a copy of all documentation, including billing quotes, service treatment information, post care information, etc. Be EXTRA thorough. (This goes for any Drs office.) Overall, it's a very nice dentistry and has a nice atmosphere! Just pray for that front desk staff... that's all. :)

My review is from the bottom of my heart! I am new to the area, after relocating back to metro-atlanta area from Ark. I am big on dental hygiene and I have always went to the dentist. I have a fear of the dentist and I have endured bad bedside in the past, just to have a healthy teeth. At Dr. Carter-Robinsons' office, you will NOT ENDURE anything.... you are made comfortable from the phone call, to the paperwork, to hanging your purse and sitting in the chair. I had my appointment in September, and my anxiety attempted to takeover, but Dr. Carter-Robinson made me VERY comfortable. My dental plan was explained to me thoroughly by Amanda and I will stay on this plan to continue having healthy teeth. The appointment was so great, I was comfortable sharing my concerns with my sons dental grinding at night while he sleeps. I brought him in today and the staff assisted me from my pull up to my departure. My 6 year old son had a pleasant experienc and we will come back in 6 months. I recommondend this personable dentist office to anyone in the area and GWINNETT/DEKALB co. (worth the drive). She has an excellent front desk manager, don't hesitate to call. P.S. Covid precautions are in place for your safety ( a triple plus for me!)

Staff is so nice and well mannered went for my deep cleaning. Everyone from sign in to treatment was extremely nice and warm hearted. Massaging chairs while you receive treatment , Dr has excellent bedside manner's explained my treatment plan to me.I have found my new dental home.

I went for basic cleaning. I told them I could not afford to pay out of pocket. They refused my ex-rays, they wanted to redo it themselves....there was no need. After unnecessary ex-rays, they told me I need extensive cleaning...which would cost me $90....I have no cavities and no Plaque build up. I reiteratedI could not afford an extensive cleaning for $90. My life was not in jeopardy, I could not afford out of pocket payments. I am on disability and would only like a basic cleaning. They said they could bill me. I asked why I couldn't just have a cleaning? I was told doctors orders. They were insistent about me having fluoride which would cost me. I begged for just a cleaning and was refused. I was then told I had to pay for the unnecessary ex-rays. All I went for was a cleaning. Now I have two sets of ex-rays and no cleaning and a bill for doing nothing. I was pressed to sign papers for billing....I reused. Black owned business or not, this is a scam to make money for doing nothing. My insurance is now going to be billed for unnecessary ex-rays and I now have e to find a Reputable dentist for a basic cleaning. This is not life or death, but a refusal to do what I asked for....a cleaning. I have reported this to my insurance company and I will take this to court if I have to. This is a scam to make money for doing nothing. One and done, money for nothing. NO one should go here, it's a waste of time and money. I took a lyft there and home. Money spent on a day I couldn't afford. On my way out the door they were still trying to have me sign for billing. See you in court. Easy to bill my insurance for nothing.

I've found my dental home! This is definitely the kind of dental care I'm accustomed to receiving and haven't experienced since my original family dentist back in North Carolina -- until now. Dr. Carter-Robinson took the time to have a seat and explain what she was doing, based on her findings, along with her recommended plan of action. I did not feel the slightest bit pressured because she simply took the time to slow down to explain everything and made herself open and available to answer the questions that I had. This made all of the difference in the world, compared to other dental practices I've visited in the past. The relaxed ambiance and atmosphere in the office is an added bonus, along with the massaging dental chairs.

This is the worst dentist practice any human being should go for any type of services. The Dentist and the entire 3 female crew members are only after money. I ever regretted going to this dental office for my cleaning. The outer part of my tooth still has stains in between the tooth and plagues are very visible. Immediately the Dentist finished the cleaning since she is the hygienist, I noticed this stains and I asked to see the Dentist, but these two other females crew refused the Dentist to come and see the stains, hence I left this so called captivating smiles dentist office unhappy. Money wasted. Please do not go to this dentist office, not a safe place at all. They are hiding something

Dr. Carter-Robinson is awesome!! Her chairside manner is second to none. You can tell by her wisdom and knowledge how much passion she has for dental CARE not just dentistry. Dr. Carter-Robinson and her team go above and beyond with taking all the necessary examinations to ensure they get a comprehensive assessment of your oral health. The out of pocket expense was unexpected but, sometime you have to pay a little more for excellence!! Overall it was a great experience.

Dr. Letoiya Carter-Robinson and her staff at Captivating Smiles Dentistry are professional, knowledgeable and caring. The skilled service and genuine concern for her patient's dental and general health and well-being is remarkable. Most people feel a sense of intrepidation when visiting their dentist..... not me . The competent , courteous and professional atmosphere immediately puts me at ease . I highly recommend @Dr. Letoiya Carter-Robinson and her staff at @Captivating Smiles Dentistry to all who seek superior dental care.

Terrible customer service. The doctor was supposed to give me a referral for an oral surgeon, weeks pass and I still did not receive anything so I decided to reach out myself. They refused to give me a referral even after the doctor already stated I would get one. I had to go back and forth with multiple people in this office and I finally got the referral only because I cursed them out. It shouldn't have had to come to that since I was already promised that I'd get one because I have a tooth that needs to be extracted immediately. Also, myself and the oral surgeon's office had to contact them multiple times to get my x-ray results. They promised to send them multiple times and now I'm currently at my appointment with the oral surgeon and guess what? They never received x-rays from Captivating Smiles, of course. I've tried calling them 20 times in a row and NO ONE has picked up. Coming to find out, they're closed until next week so I had to pay $200 out of pocket to get another x-ray done. This place is a joke.

My first experience at Captivating Smiles was honestly perfect. I called the day before and they were able to schedule me the next morning. The process was seamless and I felt very comfortable with their Covid procedures. Sanitizer is accessible in every area and a temp check was done before I entered. My wait time in the lobby was minimal and my only contact was with the hygienist and Dr. Carter. Although my drive was an hour, I chose this office because I needed a small family oriented environment and familiarity to form a relationship bc dental offices just drive me insane. Nonetheless, my next visit is already on the books. Love this place....truly "captivating."
