Dr. Yao was born and raised in China, and moved to the States at age of 15. She obtained her Bachelors degree in Bioengineering at UCLA and her Doctor of Dental Surgeon (D.D.S.) degree at University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
Dr. Yao truly believes in that dentistry doesnt have to be painful. When you might think thats what every dentist tells you, she gives out her 100% to make sure you feel as little pain as possible not only during the numbing, also throughout the procedure.
Dr. Yao practices dentistry with the goal of providing the highest standard of care to her patients with a reasonable price. She spends a lot of time attending courses in different area every year to refine her clinical skills and to keep up with the most current dental technology.
She is compassionate about providing personalized dentistry to meet not only her patients needs, but also their expectations. As a team, Dr. Li will work alongside you, thoroughly addressing any questions and concerns you may have about your dental health, treatment, and goals. She also speaks fluent Mandarin.
In her spare time when she is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys cooking, exercising, and traveling with her husband. Her favorite activity though is to spend quality time with friends and family exploring the restaurants in the Bay Area.
Ever since she has been an excellent and passionate dentist whos very organized and focused on her patients' goals and expectations. Dr. Abadir believes in gentle dentistry, quality dentistry and long term relationships with her patients.
Dr. Yi (Ivy) Yang, D.D.S. was born and raised in Wenzhou, China. After high school, she came to the U.S. and completed her undergraduate degree in Physiological Science at UCLA. She then continued her education and got her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.
Dr.Yang is gentle, detail oriented, efficient, and always does the best to provide the best quality dentistry she can. She focuses on making the patient feel comfortable, educating them about their oral health, and providing the best treatment options for them. She truly believes everyone deserves a healthy and beautiful smile. Her patient can expect her to treat them with compassion, dedication and honesty while providing the highest level of dental care.In her free time, Dr. Yang enjoys hiking and exploring nature with her family and her corgi Umi. She also loves cooking, exercising, binging documentaries and exploring the restaurant scene of the Bay Area.
Dr. Ernest Wong was born and raised in Fremont, CA. He went to UCLA for his undergraduate education and obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, School of Dental Medicine in Florida.
Dr. Wongs philosophy is to provide preventive and conservative dental care in a safe, efficient, and respectful manner. His goal is to make your experience as comfortable, stress-free, and pain-free as possible.Dr. Wong is passionate about providing quality dental care and forming great relationships with his patients. He is excited to start this journey with you to address your dental concerns and help you maintain great oral health.
During his free time, Dr. Wong loves to spend time with his family and friends. Some of his hobbies include hiking, traveling, sports, playing music, board games, cooking, and trying different cuisines.

This is the best dentist place I have ever been to.The entire team is really professional, responsive and helpful. I went for a dental cleaning a few days ago and I must say Megan (the new employee) is a very engaging and experienced dental hygienist. She pointed out all my bad habits that could potentially cause dental problems. Really appreciated her help. The other doctors here are very professional and knowledgeable. For example, Dr. Yao did a great job of explaining the process of fixing several cavities and how they are generated. I would like to express my gratitude to Henry and Vivian at the front desk. They were really responsive and helpful. I remember calling about some x-ray images before they opened and I received all the information within minutes. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place.

I have been this place serval times and overall experience is perfect. Dr. Wong and Dr. Yang and the stuffs are very nice and explain everything very clearly. It's easy to get scheduled and the procedure are done carefully and almost painlessly. I would recommend this place to my friends in the future.

Captain Dental is the best dental practice I have experienced in the south bay. Staffs are friendly and very responsive and proactive to scheduling and insurance problems. The office is clean and bright though you may need to take some time to find it :)

I have been bringing my son and we both love the place. They answer all your questions with patience and I like that. They also work as soon as you get there which I love, other dental offices that I been to usually have you sitting in the waiting room for hours which is frustrating but not at Captain Dental. Staff is very nice and place is very clean.

So I transferred my dental to Captain based on my friend's suggestion. After my first visit, I was amazed by their warm-hearted yet professional service. Dr Yao took well care of my wisdom teeth that have bothered me for quite a while. She is so skillful and the whole process went through smoothly.
