Since 2003, Dr. Michael Oliver has been providing his patients with outstanding pediatric dental care! Patients of Dr. Oliver directly benefit from his exceptionally specialized child-centered training and hands-on experience. He uses his highly specialized skills to meet the ever-changing needs of each individual patient.

Dr. Oliver received his formal education from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis, where he earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.). He subsequently completed a two-year residency program at UT Memphis, specializing in pediatric dentistry. While completing the rigorous residency requirements, Dr. Oliver participated in rotations at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, LeBoneur Children's Medical Center, and Crittenden Memorial Hospital. In addition, Dr. Oliver is licensed in the state of Alabama to administer conscious sedation medicines as well as being Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified.

Dr. Oliver began his specialty career in a group practice in Huntsville, Alabama, where he practiced for almost two years. In 2004, he moved to Arkansas, where he built a successful solo pediatric dental clinic and practiced for almost 12 years before moving back to his home state of Alabama in summer 2016.

Dr. Oliver resides in Tuscaloosa with his wife, Danielle, and his four children, Reagan, Tripp, Taylor and Ava. He and his family are members of the First Baptist Church of Tuscaloosa. Dr. Oliver enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and golfing.

To keep up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies in the industry, Dr. Oliver maintains memberships in many prestigious professional organizations. He is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), American Dental Association (ADA), and Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Timari Schweizer, warmly referred to as Dr. Tim, grew up in rural southern Oregon. She received her bachelors degree in public health studies from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She completed her formal education from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, where she received both a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) as well as a Masters of Public Health (M.P.H.). Dr. Schweizer is a recipient of the Delta Dental Community Outreach scholarship and is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Society, graduating with honors in community oral health. After finishing dental school, she completed a two-year residency program specializing in pediatric dentistry at Children's Hospital of Colorado in Denver. She is a licensed provider in the state of Alabama, certified to administer conscious sedation as well as being Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified. Dr. Timari Schweizer is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) as well as the American Dental Association (ADA).

Dr. Tim is a strong advocate for increased access and preventative pediatric dental services for children. She is a passionate researcher of preventative oral health measures for primary and infant age groups and has developed dental literature on three continents. She and her husband, Andy, are excited to share the expansion of their family with their first child, baby Lily born June 2021. Outside of the office, Dr. Tim enjoys exploring the great outdoors, skiing, hiking, and SCUBA diving.
