Dr. Beck grew up in Leavenworth, Kansas. She attended the University of Kansas where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. She developed a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and received a scholarship award for her outstanding work in restorative dentistry. Dr. Beck is passionate about transforming smiles in an approachable environment thats both comfortable and safe.
Continuing education plays a huge role in Dr. Becks pursuit of excellence. She is continuously striving to learn from the top clinicians in the world. Dr. Melanie has undergone extensive training and is a Fellow with the International Dental Implant Association.
Dr. Beck has been practicing in the Kansas City area for the last 6 years and is excited for the opportunity to be so close to her home. Her and her husband, David, just had their first child Charlotte and could not be more in love.
Chrissy has been a dental assistant for 5 years and is very passionate about dentistry. She is currently enrolled in school and is working towards furthering her career. She aspires to be a dental hygienist. Her passion for the dental field shines through chairside with Dr. Beck. When she is not working or studying she enjoys time with friends and family at the lake or having a game night.
Christina is a Registered Dental Hygienist, and graduated from Kansas State University. She then went on to graduate from UMKC School of Dentistry division of Dental Hygiene in 2007. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and was inducted into the National Dental Hygiene Honor Society, Sigma Phi Alpha, in 2007. Christina enjoys building relationships with her patients and assisting them in improving their oral health.Christina has been part of the Capstone Dentistry family since 2016. Outside of the office, Christina loves spending time with her family, husband Sal and children Anna and Will. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercise, volunteering at kids school and church activities.
Chelsea grew up in a military family, moving around the US before settling down in Missouri. In 2009 she graduated from State Fair Community Colleges Dental Hygiene program. She practiced for 5 years in Missouri before moving to Dubi for 3 years with her husband and two cats. While abroad she worked as a hygienist and traveled to as many places as she could. She joined the Capstone Family in September of 2018 soon after returning from overseas. She loves working out, watching sports, spending time with family and friends and traveling as much as possible.
Karina grew up in a small town in South Central Kansas. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from McPherson College with a dual bachelors degree in Psychology and Sociology. She then went on to graduate from JCCC with an associates in Dental Hygiene in 2018. She has been a part of the Capstone Dentistry family since her graduation, and has enjoyed being part of an office that truly puts patients first! When shes not working she spends her time with family, friends, and her dog- Latte. She loves hiking, reading, drinking way too much coffee, and is always seeking out her next outdoor adventure.

How lucky am I to have such a great dentist and office so conveniently located! I needed an emergency tooth extraction and they accommodated me the same day and couldn't have been more wonderful to me. My teeth are a mess, but I didn't feel judged or berated in any way. They were nothing but kind and caring to this desperate new patient!

Everyone at Capstone was wonderful! The front desk staff were so friendly. My dental hygienist, Chelsea, was fabulous and super thorough and explained everything she was doing as she went. Dr. Beck was super sweet and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

I've had all of the hygienists here and Dr. Beck is awesome. Very gentle and knowledgeable staff. My whole family goes here and I feel comfortable with my child being treated here as well! Love their technology and appt reminders!!

Terrific experience on all fronts. The appointment occurred on schedule, everyone was extremely friendly, I was informed of the state of my teeth as well as what needed to be done and how long it would take. The price was extremely reasonable as well. I'll be a repeat customer for a long time.

My experience at Capstone is always so welcoming. The dental hygienists who do the teeth cleaning are always so friendly. Also, Dr. Beck takes her time with patients and answers your questions. This is a great dentist for the entire family.

We have been seeing Dr. Beck for about 4 years and she has always provided excellent care. She is a natural with kids. Both of my children feel very comfortable with her and enjoy seeing her. My daughter had a bike accident that damaged her front teeth. Dr. Beck was able to rebuild her teeth to look as if the accident never happened.
