Dr. William Herr earned his bachelor s degree in microbiology from the Ohio State University. He soon enrolled at the University of Maryland s School of Dentistry, where he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Dr. Andrew Luccio hails from the South Shore and currently resides in South Boston. With a bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Richmond and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Dr. Luccio benefits from extensive formal education and training in comprehensive dentistry.

Dr. Poya Jafari is originally from Auburn, MA. He attended college at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, then studied dentistry at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He then completed his general practice residency at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital where he received the Prosthetic Dentistry Award for outstanding clinical performance. Dr. Jafari provides dental care that focuses on quality and patient comfort helping patients take pride in their smiles.

Heather is yet another valued member of our hygiene team. As a Registered Dental Hygienist with over 25 years of experience, patients of Capron Park Dental take comfort in knowing that they are seeing a clinician that is both highly experienced and educated. A native of North Attleboro, Heather attended North Attleboro High School before going on to earn a degree from Northeastern University. Following graduation, Heather went on to obtain her hygiene degree from the Forsyth School for Dental Hygiene. Since completing her formal training, Heather has made it a priority to consistently and frequently complete extensive continuing education so that her patients are getting the most advanced and up-to-date treatment possible.

Outside of dentistry, Heather spends much of her free time with her husband and two children, all of whom lead active lifestyles themselves, with her son in soccer and her daughter in cheer. Heather is also a dog lover and, interestingly enough, has adopted two from Thailand!

Ensuring that Capron Park Dental patients have access to the best dental care that is both financially flexible and comfortable for each of our patients is the chief concern of our Financial Coordinator. The skills and expertise Jessica collected from her formal training at the Community College of Rhode Island pairs perfectly with her enthusiasm for making sure that our patients get the care they deserve and it shows in the interactions she has with the patients of the dental office. Jessica is the first to tell you that these interactions and relationships with patients are what she enjoys most about her job. Aside from financial arrangements, Jessica is also tasked with a number of responsibilities that ensure the smooth and timely operation of the dental office, something the team calls an integral component of creating that comfortable and inviting atmosphere the patients of Capron Park Dental have come to love and expect.

Jessica calls her three children the center of her universe...a very busy universe, particularly with their various sports-related activities each are involved in. Some interests and hobbies of Jessica s include spending time at the beach, yoga, and biking.

Dacia primarily serves as the Insurance Coordinator for Capron Park Dental but is also a skilled dental assistant. Dacia has been in the dental industry for over 9 years and has been at Capron Park Dental (previously Nelson Family Dental) for 6 years.

Dacia, a Seekonk native and current resident, attended Seekonk High School before enrolling at Bristol Community College where she studied accounting. Soon after, Dacia attended the Penn Foster School where she earned her Dental Assisting Certificate and became a Registered Dental Assistant. At Capron Park Dental, Dacia helps each patient plan ahead for their dental care and ultimately achieve the oral health and beautiful smile they desire and deserve. To make this happen, Dacia draws on her wealth of dental knowledge and experience while ensuring that she is staying on top of the latest developments in the industry through extensive continuing education.

Outside of the dental office, Dacia stays very active, particularly with her young daughter, Teagan. Camping, boating, and time at the beach are just a few of the things you will find Dacia enjoying with friends and family on a regular basis.

Capron Park Dental is proud to call Carlene a member of our our highly experienced clinical team. With almost 20 years of dental assisting experience, 12 of which have been right here, Carlene has an abundance of experience and a wealth of knowledge acquired from formal training and extensive continuing education in all facets of clinical dentistry from infection control to laser dentistry and so much more. A graduate of Attleboro High School, Carlene completed her formal dental assistant training locally at Bristol Community College where she became a Registered Dental Assistant upon completion. Capron Park Dental patients take comfort in knowing that our team brings a great deal of expertise to the table to make sure that their experience is first class in every aspect and Carlene plays a critical role in making that happen. When Carlene is asked what she likes most about her job, she cites the interactions with patients as being her favorite and it shows in the way people light up when they see and speak with her.

Carlene certainly enjoys life outside of the dental office. She is married to her husband Dennis and has two children. Aside from spending time with friends and family, staying fit and active is a priority for Carlene with running, biking and camping being some of her favorite activities. Carlene is an inspiration to us all at the dental office when it comes to being healthy. In fact, in merely a year s time, Carlene has lost 70 lbs! She cites an overall healthy lifestyle as the reason she has kept it off.

The experienced clinical team at Capron Park Dental is lucky to have Carolyn as one of our Registered Dental Hygienists, as she brings almost 30 years of experience to the dental office, 11 of which have been right here. A native of East Freetown, MA, Carolyn attended Apponequet Regional High School and graduated from hygiene school at Bristol Community College. Through this education and countless hours of continuing education over the years, Carolyn is able to provide unmatched care to each patient she sees. However, one only needs to ask her patients to know that what makes a visit with Carolyn truly special. They will tell you, it is her genuine care for her patients well-being that keep them coming back. Carolyn would be the first to tell you that the relationships she has built with patients over the years is what she values most.

Outside of the dental office, Carolyn loves to spend time with her family. She is married to her husband Mike and has a daughter Jillian and two stepchildren, Hannah and William. Her children certainly keep her busy and one of the many hats she wears is that of Softball Mom .

Shannon is a member of our highly experienced dental hygiene team and our patients are certainly better off for it. A graduate of Providence College, Shannon went on to earn hear hygiene degree from Bristol Community College. What s more, Shannon also completed additional training to obtain her Local Anesthesia Permit. This training, along with the extensive continuing education she has completed over the years, ensures that patients of Capron Park Dental are receiving the best care possible. Equally important, Shannon s high regard for a calm, relaxing environment for each of her patients ensures that even those with a history of dental anxiety are not at all threatened when visiting the dental office.

Shannon enjoys a number of activities outside of work and they include cross stitching, reading, and spending time with friends and family. While Shannon s husband Nick (and their 2 cats) would say that she has a soft side, be warned, Shannon has earned her 3rd degree black belt in Kenpo Karate!

A Providence, RI native, Virgen set her sights on a career in dentistry early on in her life and attended Lincoln Technical Institute where she acquired her Certificate in Dental Assisting (CDA). Since that time, Virgen has made it her mission to continuously advance her skills and experience so that she can provide a first-class experience at each and every visit. Aside from her superb dental assisting skills, Virgens positive, upbeat demeanor is contagious. At your next visit, you can count on seeing her smile and leaving with one of your own.

When Virgen is out of the dental office, you will find her spending time with friends and family. And recently, Virgen welcomed into this world her first child and you can tell that she is enjoying every minute of motherhood.

As the most recent addition to our team, Morgan is excited to interact with our patients and skilled team members here at Capron Park Dental. Every day, she looks forward to helping our patients and connecting with them. Before joining us, she spent two years building up dentistry experience. She is a registered dental assistant and also have certifications in OSHA and CPR. At Curry College, she earned a biology degree, and she would like to attend dental school in the future.

As a native to Seekonk, MA, Morgan loves traveling whenever she can and spending quality time with her loving family and friends. She is thrilled to be engaged! She and her fianc plan to be married in October 2019!

Courtney has been a registered dental hygienist since 2012 and joined our oral healthcare family in 2015. In addition to her responsibilities as a dental hygienist, it is of the utmost importance to her that her patients feel calm and comfortable in her chair. She achieves this by having a gentle hand and a positive attitude during hygiene procedures, as well as making sure all her patients leave feeling well-informed about their oral health.

Courtney graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and is also licensed in local anesthesia. She is CPR/AED certified and enjoys taking continuing education regarding all facets of dentistry on a regular basis. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her fiance, painting, and baking.

Kelly has been working in dentistry for nearly 10 years now, and she loves that her job allows her to brighten someones day and their smile! She attended Bristol Community College for her education and also has training in local anesthesia, CPR, and First Aid.

Originally from Attleboro, Kelly and her boyfriend Peter have two kids named Little Pete and Everly. In her spare time, she loves participating in sports like soccer and running and supporting all of the New England teams. Shes actually completed the Cape Cod Ragnar Relay, which is an overnight race where runners are divided into teams and run individual legs of the race at all hours of day and night for over 200 miles.

Leah joins the team at Capron Park Dental bringing with her a wealth of experience in healthcare and hospitality, having spent the first 16 years of her professional life in the senior living industry, where she started working at just 15 years of age! You will find that Leah has a work ethic that is second to none and the attention to detail that will leave you feeling confident that your every need while in our office is well considered and attended to. These skills, combined with her warm and compassionate demeanor, are why we have entrusted her to manage our clinical schedule, helping to coordinate your care so that you don't miss a beat. When not advocating for oral health in the Attleboro community, Leah (you guessed it) loves to stay active! Kayaking, camping and rollerskating are just a few of the outdoor activities you will find Leah enjoying with her friends and family. Did we mention that Leah is also into music? She just started learning how to play the Ukulele!

As a dental assistant, Gabrielle says that the best part of her job is that she gets to help people renew their confidence by refreshing their smiles. She comes from the beautiful island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and she attended Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School prior to earning her dental assistant certification.

Outside of dentistry, Gabrielles other passion is taking care of plantsher husband is always telling her that she doesnt need any more whenever she comes home with a new one! She also has a photographic memory, so she will definitely remember you from visit to visit!

Alicia is a member of our front office team, and her mission is to help our patients feel welcome from the moment they give us a call or step through our doors. Originally from Pawtucket, she is a huge sports enthusiast (both playing and watching) and loves animalsshe considers her dog and cat to be her kids!

As a dental assistant, Bushra loves getting to meet new people each day. In fact, its what she loves most about her job! She joined our team in 2021 after studying at the University of Massachusetts, Boston and earning her radiology certification.

Originally from Easton, Bushra comes from a big family. In her free time, some of her favorite things to do include traveling, hiking, and trying new food. Heres something you may not know about her: she can speak another language!

For more than three decades now, Gail has been helping people improve their smiles and their overall health. Truly, its one of her favorite aspects of her job! In addition to studying at the Bryman Institute, she earned her DANB and has completed training in oral surgery, sinus lifts, periodontics, and more.

Maria was born and raised right here in Massachusetts! After graduating from Braintree High School, she attended Quincy Community College. In addition to undergoing five months of training with both endodontists and periodontists, her advanced education includes her radiology certificate.

Originally from Auburn, MA, Dr. Jafari is the son of Iranian immigrants. Starting in high school, he always knew that he loved biology, but wasnt sure where he would take his passion for science as a career. At a young age, he always helped his father around the house. Whether it was fixing lawnmower engines or DIY projects, he knew he enjoyed working with his hands. By the time he was in high school, Dr. Jafari had the opportunity to shadow dentists while visiting Iran with his family.

With both his parents being involved in the scientific/medical field at the time (his mother a pharmacist, his father a chemical engineer), it was the perfect opportunity to see what being a dentist could be like. Following his trip shadowing dentists, as well as speaking with previous dentists on the subject, he realized that dentistry provided the perfect combination of engineering and biology. Of course, the true catalyst occurred when he had a chance to work for a local dentist while he completed his undergraduate education. Being able to talk to patients directly and experience this face-to-face dynamic was what truly sealed the deal for Dr. Jafaris career in dentistry.

Dr. Jafari attended the University of Massachusetts for his undergraduate education, where he landed on the Deans list every semester he was there. He would eventually enroll at the University of Connecticut for dental school. There, he completed two years of medical school and two years of dental school, giving him a unique perspective of the field many dentists dont experience. He chose general dentistry because of the freedom it provides to speak with patients consistently and build relationships with individuals and families alike.

During his time at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, Dr. Jafari received the Prosthetic Dentistry Award for outstanding clinical performance was exposed to many different dental specialties, patients and complex cases. While he looked up to many teachers, mentors and other dental professionals, it was Dr. Aaron Brandwein that stood out to him the most. As a general dentist as well, he greatly appreciated how he never shied away from anything and was truly a jack of all trades when it came to dentistry. This inspired Dr. Jafari to be the best general dentist he could be, and thats truly reflected when patients visit him for care.

As someone with parents who grew up in a small town in Iran, he understands that many people dont grow up with the same resources that you might take for granted. Its partly why he was raised with such a doityourself attitude, and this has not escaped him as an adult.

During his time in dental school, he and many other students organized a mission trip to Honduras in order to provide care to underserved communities in need of dental care. Through contacts provided and organized by faculty at the school as well as a contact with a local church in the Honduras area, they were able to plan a oneweek trip, giving Dr. Jafari his first opportunity to work on real dental patients. Just like how he worked with what they had growing up, he and his colleagues gathered funds, dental tools, technology, and materials to help those who needed it most.

Outside of the dental office, Dr. Jafari enjoys snowboarding with college friends, particularly in New Hampshire and Vermont. He often visits Killington and Loon, but he recently visited Sunday River in Maine this past year. He also enjoys hiking in southern Utah. As a kid, he always enjoyed woodworking and appreciates the detailed craftsmanship it requires.

To Dr. Herr, dentistry is all about forming relationships with patients. Before entering dental school, Dr. Herr had an opportunity to shadow other dentists while he was still earning his undergraduate education. It was in his time there that he realized how dentists could leave a positive impact on people as well as that persons entire family. Seeing that relationship unfold while also being able to change that persons life is what really makes all the hard work worth it.

Dr. William Herr, originally from Northwest Ohio, earned his bachelors degree in microbiology from the Ohio State University. He soon enrolled at the University of Marylands School of Dentistry, where he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

It was during his time in dental school that Dr. Herr realized he had a real passion for the fields of prosthodontics, implant dentistry, and oral surgery. For his commitment and excellence in the field, Dr. Herr earned the opportunity to take part in a year-long implant prosthodontics and oral surgery clerkship.

After graduating, Dr. Herr was honored to attend the Veteran Administrations Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program. There, he provided crucial dental care to area veteran men and women with complex medical histories and received advanced training in all aspects of dentistry with a special focus on oral surgery, implants, endodontic treatment (root canals) and periodontal surgeries for repairing gum tissue.

Since completing his formal education and training, Dr. Herr has completed hundreds of hours in continuing education. He remains committed to staying attuned to the latest advancements in dentistry through his involvement in the Academy of General Dentistry (as the Massachusetts Vice President and appointed Delegate) and as a member of the Massachusetts Dental Societys Leadership Institute.
