If you call us ahead of time, you can find out whether we are in-network with your specific policy as well as what kind of benefits you can expect from your plan. Once your visit is complete, well take care of filing the necessary claims for you.

At a very young age, Dr. Cappello was always inspired by his father, who was also a dentist. Growing up, he was amazed at how he impacted other peoples lives through his work. Eventually, he envisioned himself in the same capacity, so dentistry felt like the perfect fit. With an aptitude for all things scientific, coupled with exceptional manual dexterity skills, were glad he chose the career path that he did!
Dr. Cappello graduated from Weston High School in Connecticut where he was a scholar-athlete competing in three varsity sports. After high school, Dr. Cappello enrolled at Clemson University in South Carolina where he earned his Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences. From there, he would attend the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. During his time there, Dr. Cappello was a merit scholar and on the Deans List. He was awarded the Osher Scholarship, and was presented with the Special Care in Dentistry Award for Outstanding Performance. Upon completing his formal education, Dr. Cappello pursued continuing education at the Spear Institute, the Dawson Academy, and attended multiple other continuing educational programs to perfect his clinical skill set. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and Connecticut State Dental Association.
Dr. Cappello spends the majority of his free time with his family and close friends. He is an avid fan of both collegiate and professional sports, and enjoys staying active whenever he can. He thoroughly enjoys physical fitness and playing golf.
I started my career with Dr. Bills father, Dr. John Cappello, and I am thrilled to be part of the Cappello team! I look forward to helping all our patients achieve beautiful, healthy smiles. When Im not working, you can find me at the beach or spending time with my family, especially my two beautiful granddaughters!
I started my career as a dental assistant and loved the field so much I chose to go to dental hygiene school. Now, I have been a dental hygienist for over 18 years! I am passionate about my job and love to educate my patients on oral hygiene. I am looking forward to being part of Cappello Family Dental, greeting old patients that I have met throughout my career in the surrounding area, and welcoming new patients to our practice. In my spare time, I love spending time with my children and being outdoors.
I have been working in the dental field for over 26 years. I am passionate about the dental field, and I love welcoming new and returning patients to our office. Most importantly, I love helping and guiding patients to understand how important it is to maintain their treatment with their dental re-care visits. I will assist you with all your insurance needs and financial concerns and get you on the right path to complete the treatment you need or want. I had avoided the dentist for years after having a horrible experience with my previous dental practice and I could not be happier with my choice to go to Cappello Family Dental. The staff were all kind and welcoming. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable, nonjudgmental, and patient throughout my visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a new dentist!

I live in Florida and travel occasionally to Ct. I always plan my dental visits around my schedule. I was a longtime patient of Dr. Cappello's father John, so the decision to come to his practice was an easy one. Plus, Mary Lee has been my hygienist for many years, there's no one better. From Christine at the desk, to everyone on the staff, they make going to the dentist is an enjoyable experience. Dr. Bill has inherited his father's bedside manner. During my root canal, all I did was laugh, and 2 days later, on a weekend, Dr. Cappello called to make sure I was doing ok. A great practice with caring people all around, I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I've had two great experiences at Cappello Family Dental since they opened and Ronnie, my longtime hygienist, began working there. She and Dr. Cappello are hands down the most knowledgeable, thorough, and friendly dental care providers I've ever had. They've helped me to improve my home care to the point where I honestly look forward to brushing (and flossing, of course). Christine, the office manager, has also been super understanding and helpful with all matters surrounding scheduling and insurance. I love the whole team! The office is newly renovated and outfitted with the latest tech. I really appreciated the ability to fill out and submit all of the standard forms online ahead of my first appointment. When I walked in, I could just relax and watch a bit of TV without having to deal with any of the usual hassle. I never would've guessed that I'd be enthusiastic about a dental practice, but here I am--and I'm looking forward to going back.

What a great dental office! Outstanding staff that made me feel welcome and comfortable the second I walked through the door. The most thorough and informative cleaning I have ever had. Dr. Bill is a down to earth, great guy who is professional and trustworthy. He put in a new crown and he was so considerate of my comfort. I was pleasantly surprised when he told me I could safely wait on getting a crown on another tooth that my previous dentist told me I needed. I will be recommending Dr. Cappello to all my friends and family.

I can't express how happy my husband and I are with this office and the entire staff! We just came in for the first time for cleanings and dental exams. My husband has appts for further work and we are both looking forward to returning! In my opinion, the office and staff are examples of what all modern dentistry should emulate... a caring + very competent staff, clear + precise dental education, thorough dental exam, sparkling cleanliness, modern equipment, beautiful + pleasant office decorated just right without clutter. If we can help it we will never go anywhere else. My husband who has a phobia of dental offices is counting the days to the next appointment... never saw that coming (it's as crazy as it sounds!) and it's a true miracle! Can't thank the staff enough. Dr. Cappello (who introduced himself as Bill) inspired confidence and was kind, honest, encouraging, and took his time with the exam, explaining things clearly. Never did we feel rushed. The hygienist Ronnie was fabulous! My teeth feel cleaner than they ever have, and she really knows her stuff! She's a wonderful dental educator. No one has ever made my husband happy to get his teeth cleaned, but Ronnie did. The minute she was done, he said he feels so comfortable with her and can't wait to come back. The office manager Christine was kind, accommodating, professional, and so helpful. She explained everything well and made sure we left happy and with clear information. I've already referred my sister in law and will tell everyone about this office. Thank you all so much! :-)

Finding a new dental practice after relocating can be difficult particularly if leaving a dental practice where you were a patient for 30 years. After some searching, my wife and I decided on Cappello Family Dental. From initially making our first appointment by phone and through that appointment, we knew we made the right decision. Very personable staff from the receptionist to the dental technician and dentist. I was comfortable talking to the technician and Dr. Cappello regarding my dental needs. I left the office with the knowledge that I had found the right practice for my wife and I.

Dr Bill is the absolute best!! I had a fall last year and fell on my front teeth. Going to the dentist is probably my least favorite thing to do. After my first visit with Dr. Bill, he made me feel so comfortable that I will never go to another dentist. Within 2 month span I believe I had to go at least 10 or 12 times to fix my smile. I had to get 2 roots canals on my front two teeth. Dr. Bill knew I was afraid, and took the time to explain every single step of the process as he was going along. And I cant tell you how many times he made me laugh during it all, which made me feel even more comfortable. I was no longer afraid, and trusted him completely. After the root canals and other work, we decided the best step was to do Veneers. Let me tell you they look exactly like my teeth did before (which is what I wanted) and even I can barely tell the difference. If your looking for a dentist that does exceptional work and makes you feel comfortable at the same time he's the guy!! Thank you Dr. Bill for fixing my smile!!!

Dr. Cappello is the most upbeat professiona I've come across in a long time. He is down to earth, always smiling and a great sense of humor. He makes you feel comfortable and does a thorough job; he can't do enough for you. I wouldn't hesitate recommending him to friends and family. Also has a great staff; very friendly.

I was so pleased with the doctor and his staff, only been there twice and it feels like I've known all of them the rest of my life. He is great at his job not only that he called up to make sure I was ok which I was no pain or swelling may be a little discomfort but that is all! Highly recommend him and his staff if you need a dentist thanks for everything and just know I'm your biggest fan!!! XOXO!

The office is beautiful with state of the art equipment. The staff is very professional & friendly. I immediately felt comfortable & was treated by very competent professionals. Dr. Cappello had treated me before at another practice. He went the extra distance then in terms of responsiveness and follow up. My wife and I moved to his new practice as soon as we learned of it. Today I visited him on the same day I called to set up an appointment. And while no one likes visits to dentists, I'm very glad to have followed him and made the switch. He's a very good dentist and he cares about his patients. I wish him all success and wholeheartedly recommend him.

My first visit to Dr. Cappello's today was comfrotable and stressless. Mary Lee the hygienist was very thorough and informative regarding my teeth cleaning. She was clear when answering my questions and she even took the time to show me my dental concerns with pictures on her computer. The entire staff was very accommodating.

I am new to the area and needed a new dentist. From start to finish this has been a pleasant experience. The whole staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Christine answered all of my insurance questions, Ronnie X-rayed and cleaned my teeth with great care and professionalism, and kept me informed of every step along the way. Dr. Cappello was extremely professional, informative and very personable. Everything was super clean and seems to be the latest and greatest equipment. I highly recommend!
