Hello my name is Tammie an I had the best experience with Dr chin I was very scared I had to get 3 teeth pull at the same he the best oral surgeon in dc I recommended every body to go see Dr chin he make u smile while pulling ur teeth lol thank Dr chin an the whole staff

This place is amazing,I can not stand going to the dentist and maybe just maybe that's the reason I had to have emergency wisdom teeth extractions but nonetheless I felt comfortable and safe. I had so much anxiety the morning of my surgery and all the questions I had were answered. I'm currently on day 6 and I must say day two was 9/10 I had no pain since the day before surgery! Thank you all so much I will be returning for regular services and definitely will give recommendations.

5 star experience all the way. I have really bad anxiety and they were so patient with me. Everything was explained well before and after my procedure. I will be recommending Dr.Shin to family and friends.

Dr. Shin & staff were absolutely amazing... I had to have an extraction and it was over before I knew it and most of all PAINLESS, Im a big baby and he hit me with the "numb numb" perfectly... All I can say is thank you..

The staff is impeccable. I had the best experience as I have a phobia of dentist. They went above and beyond ensuring my comfort and did great work. I highly recommend them and will return for my dental work!

I suffer from dental anxiety and as soon as I sat in the chair that went away. Staff is gentle and kind and very professional. Definitely recommend them to anyone who needs an wisdom tooth extraction. Thank you for a great experience!!!!

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! IM IN SERIOUS PAIN AND HOW DO YOU SCHEDULE SOMEONE FOR AN APPOINTMENT I CALL BACK BEGGING CRYING CAUSE MY TOOTH IS IN PAIN !!!! YOU GIVE ME A EARLIER DATE TO CALL ME TWO DAYS BEFORE MY APPT RIGHT BEFORE YOU CLOSE AND MY DENTIST TO SAY YOU DONT TAKE MY INSURANCE NOW I'M IN PAIN AFRAID OF FURTHER INFECTION BECAUSE YOUR STAFF CANT DO THEIR JOBS RIGHT IM HIGHLY UPSET

This was one of the best dental experiences I've had.The staff was very helpful. Dr.Shin did my extraction in less than 10mins I was in and out with my prescriptions in 20mins. That's the kind of dental experience you can always appreciate!!!!

Dr.Shin and his staff made this experience great I had a horrible experience in the past with another office. I hadn't seen a dentist in years another doctors office told me about Dr.Shin wow I'm happy I came this office made me trust dentist again. I also referred someone who is also terrified of the dentist to you. I thank everyone at the office for there excellent service

Horrible communication skills. Called asked if they accepted my insurance for a particular procedure. Was told yes only to wait three weeks. Drive an hour. Sit in the waiting room to be told they haven't accepted my insurance for months. Even though they are listed as preferred on my insurances website. Complete waste of time.

They are amazing and very good at what they do. i was super nervous about my surgery and John went through post op instructions with me after and especially everyone there was very nice and professional. don't get confused with the bad review's here there's always a hater.... this place is great!

My experience with the doctor was amazing I didn't feel anything he also gave me updated information and education on what I need to do with my teeth and also things that no doctors ever told me I didn't feel a thing it was amazing to be with an experienced Dr. who actually knew exactly what he was doing.

I waited until after 2 visits (& several missed ones out of anxiety of being butchered) to write this review but this an honest assessment of the happenings: if you're mouth is in bad condition they will be condescending towards you & play with your oral health. My last appointment was several extractions (7 in total) from poor dental hygiene, physical traumas & a couple car accidents. Long story short (as possible) the doctor gave me 10 needle insertions within 2 minutes & when I complained it was painful he said he just gave a child the same number of shots & they didn't budge. Sir: their gums are healthier, I'm thrice their elder (plus former smoker) & have probably had more hits to the mouth. That was disrespectful. Then when I say "sorry for being on Medicaid" he caught a whole attitude & went into a monologue about his mother being a pastor but we know the PK is usually some sort of scandalous. Rushed through the extractions &, after saying we'd weigh tooth replacement options after checking what I'm approved for in 7-10 days, rushed out the room... his aide, like a machine, tells me "these are your guidelines & here are your prescriptions. If you have any blah blah blah have a nice day. I call after a month to inquire when if they found out yet what dentures/implants I qualify for & because the doctor left a tooth fragment behind that sits outside my gum paining me & Johnny boy at the front desk tells me "Oh we don't do implants. We're oral surgeons but we only extract."...(o_O) TF ?i SURGEONS IMPLANT FOOL &, more than anything, WHY'D THE SURGEON BRING IT UP IF IT WASNT A POSSIBILITY?!? SHENANIGANS!!! Now I have an aching, gaping hole (no pun nor innuendo intended) in my mouth (pause) & I have no idea where I'll get it or the tooth bit fixed. Lack of genuine care, empathy &, most importantly, genuity itself. If on Medicaid & this your only option I'm sorry life's dealt you this hand. Might be better off at a dental school or church-organized event. Please avoid. Let your mouth rot away before you let them extract a lot & leave your jaw to erode in places. They probably get paid for collecting your teeth somehow, too. Beware, Caution, envision every bad sign & scene tape...it all belongs on the door. God bless, do your best.

This was my first time. I was referred by the Mary Center. I read the reviews and just about everyone had something nice to say. I did not like my experience. The receptionist was unprofessional and just didn't care, very immature. I waited almost 2 hours before I was seen. The doctors assistant wasn't empathetic and it was just weird. The doctor came in introduced himself and proceeded to extract the tooth, got the tooth out and left. A tall guy came in and read me some instructions like a robot and when I asked him a question he had no clue, he looked like he just didn't belong there. The doctor left so quick I didn't even have a chance to ask any questions. They wasn't friendly at all. I felt so cheap. I thought maybe because I have Medicaid and maybe they don't care for patients with Medicaid. I don't know but my experience was really weird, quick and careless. I felt like a 2 dollar Ho$.
