Dr. Michael Sisk works to make Capitol Dental Care the ultimate choice for your familys oral health. With years of experience and a passion for their trade, all of our dentists pride themselves on the professionalism of dependable dental care and enthusiasm for healthy smiles.
Dr. Sisk graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, the first dental school in the world. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1983. His Bachelor of Science degree in Biology was granted by the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
Dr. Sisk has attended over 2000 hours of continuing education in order to maintain a knowledge of the most recent techniques, technology, and materials. His treatment includes family and cosmetic dentistry, implant and prosthetics, clear aligner and straight wire orthodontics, endodontic therapy, and dentalsleep medicine.
Dr. Richard graduated from the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine one of the most selective schools for dentistry in the United States. Harrisburg has been his home for most of his life, but he has also studied and worked in New York City, Pennsylvania and completed his residency at Wellspan York Hospital. Dr. Richard is an active member of thePennsylvania Dental Association and theAmerican Dental Association.
Dena graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology with a degree in Dental Hygiene. After completing that program, she continued on to obtain her Bachelors degree in Health Administration. She then returned, once again, to Penn College and was part of their first class of hygienists to receive their license in local anesthesia.
As Hygiene Team Leader, she strives to help all staff members achieve the highest level of quality dental care as well as overall health. She also servesas a Treatment Advocate in our practice. She educates and helps people understand the need for Dental Treatment and the consequences of not following through, as well as the benefits.
Anna is our NINJA Dental Assistant, which stands for No, Im Not Just and Assistant its a movement and passion shared by dental assistants to do more in the dental profession enhancing the team and the patients experience.
I love being a multidisciplinary employee in the dental office from greeting and seating to images and photos, soon to be scanning. Learning how to improve patient care everyday is exciting to me. I love to make temporary crowns and forever smiles.
As the Administrative Team Leader and Office Manager, she oversees the staff training in patient scheduling, billing and insurance as well as operational and IT support services. Jenn is proud to announce that she is now a member of the American Association of Dental Office Management (AADOM).

Dr. Nam Phan followed up via text after the extraction. Responded quickly a few days later when I had questions. I'm very impressed with how easy it is to reach him and get thoughtful responses that let me know he is truly listening.

If I could 0 stars I would. Honestly please don't go here. They charged me multiple times out of pocket because they said my insurance didn't cover X rays, which they do but whatever this dentist office decided to do was not covered by my insurance and they just go ahead and do whatever without first telling you the cost so then they can charge whatever they want after. I paid $263 out of pocket my very first visit for X-rays and a deep cleaning that they said needed to be done before cavities that I needed filled. They made 4 other appointments for cleanings and fillings and every single time they tried charging me more and more money. Overall I paid out of pocket even having dental insurance . After fillings it's two months later and I have extreme sensitivity still and throbbing pain in each of my 4 molars and I went to a second dentist and told me that the previous dentist missed a cavity that can clearly be seen he said. So disappointment not only have I had to do to another dentist for more money and now I'm here at a specialist for possible root canals since I'm having throbbing pain and the dentist here told me to just wait it out. It's been 2 months and I still have pain and can't chew anything cold hot not even soft food without complication. I did not have any of this pain like I do now in so many areas until I got teeth filled in at this office. So please beware. They aren't compassionate to patients , it almost felt like I was a bother to them even bringing up things with my bill and even when I came to speak to the dentist again after all the fillings were done to tell him about my pain , he looked at me like I was crazy for describing the type of pain I felt. Wish I would have never went here to get anything done. I went in hoping for relief of a cavity pain and left in debt and with more problems and pain.

No Star if possible!!! Con Artist, Do Not go to this place!!!!! Make you pay before even scheduling., will not Refund your money after Insurance pays . And will try to charge patience IN network , excess allotment. Which is not allowed. Will be contacting board of dentistry, they should not be in practice. The work is cheap and incomplete on crown... incompetent all around Doctors, staff and dirty office!! SERIOUSLY stay Away!!!

Dr Nam Phan is the best cut my gums down so my crowns would fit better (keep having them come off)I was very nervous about this procedure Dr Phan was very reassuring and check on me to make sure I was ok thankyou Dr Nam Phan

Was notified in advance of upcoming appointment. Felt very comfortable with entire staff. Appreciated my time and was seen promptly. Very friendly, efficient, professional, and responsive. Took their time with me; was not rushed. Responded quickly to inquiries I had. Strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols. Office very neat and clean. State of the art equipment. Location was easy to get to.

Dr. Nam Phan did a great job at my last appointment. He was fast efficient but still took the time to answer any and all questions I had as well as reached back out to check on my recovery personally after the procedure which really meant a lot.

I recently had to get a tooth removed and Dr. Nam Phan did a phenomenal job. It was quick and pain free. He also made sure to personally check in with me after my procedure which is a rare thing now days. I highly recommend Capitol Dental Care to those in need a local dentist.

I have been utilizing capitol dental for almost six years (mainly out of Camp Hill). It has gone downhill. They have no respect for peoples time. There have been times when they've had to reschedule because they ended up being closed on days when I had an actual appointment scheduled. The final straw was this morning when I arrived ten minutes early for a 9:20 appointment. Another individual walked in about five minutes after me and was brought back right away. Around 9:30 I'm finally brought back and ten o'clock rolls around and I still haven't been seen besides having blood pressure taken. I arrived wearing what are clearly work clothes as I intended to head straight to work after. The individual who arrived after was wearing casual clothing and although I'm not saying it is within their scope to decide which one is more important based on the clothes they are wearing it should be clear that they are disrespecting someone who is working full time and just trying to get a simple cleaning done so she can be on her way to work. I will not be back and neither will my husband. If someone has an appointment for 9:20 make sure you get the disclaimer that you won't be seen for more than 40 mins.

Was in on a Tuesday evening to have three wisdom teeth extracted by Dr Nam Phan. He did an amazing job! I had very little discomfort that evening and the next morning it was like nothing happened at all.

Dr. Nam Phan has performed a surgery for my 3 teeth implants painlessly and smoothly. I highly recommend Dr. Phan if you plan to have dental implants. His staff is very professional as well. Thank you Dr. Phan & his staff for fantastic work on my teeth.

4 days ago I got 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Nam Phan, and he was very good at making sure I was not only in good hands, but also comfortable during the procedure. I am recovering well and he even reached out to check up on how my recovery was going. Would definitely recommend going to Capitol Dental if you have any questions or concerns about your wisdom teeth or any dental work for that matter.

I am a new patient to the Capitol Dental Care office and recently had to get a tooth extracted. Dr. Nam Phan was my attending doctor for this procedure. He made sure I did not experience any pain and checked in on me to ensure that I didn't have any questions or concerns. That is what you call top notch service. I will continue to stay with this dental office. Amazing staff work here.

Terrible care and service. I got a full checkup and cleaning, and was told everything was fine. A part of my tooth literally chipped off less than a month later due to a missed cavity which required treatment (which I got elsewhere). Additionally, the dentist (Dr. Richard) was not knowledgeable and told me various services/images I got were 'standard'' when I asked why they were needed (seemed excessive and beyond what I had gotten at prior dentists); these "standard" items were denied by my insurance as not indicated. This group is incompetent at best, and fraudulent at worst.

Courteously, Expertly, Painlessly and Rapidly done, I was simply amazed at the whole process. It was a well done tooth extraction! Thank You Dr. Phan and the staff at Capitol Dental! Compared to what I experienced growing up seems (and is) a generation removed; in time, operation and technology. I first went in, a few months earlier this year, following six years of having nothing done due to a low paying job and having no insurance. Oh, I am a Vet you say? Well, not old enough for VA treatment; especially as involved as what I needed. In early 2020, by a fortunate series of events, I now have a great job with health benefits at TE Connectivity. The COVID-19 quarrentine was underway and mask wearing accelerated my dental decay. I gave the company a reliable year and then got on with long delayed treatment. What has followed is nothing short of amazing! The photo is of me holding a prescription bag with a cheery note. Even CVS is enthusiastic! -Richard
