Dr. Hynes did not take a traditional path to dentistry. After graduating from Cornell University with a degree in Animal Science and minors in Nutrition and Global Health, she worked as a research and development scientist in biopharmaceuticals. She spent most of her time in the lab, focusing on vaccine development. It was there she began to realize that she craved a position in healthcare with a more direct, patient-based impact. She started taking classes after work on week nights and applied to dental school.
Dr. Hynes completed her DMD training at Temple Universitys Kornberg School of Dentistry. There, she served as Vice President of the local American Student Dental Association and as a Contributing Editor for the organization at a national level. She was Treasurer and volunteer with the schools mission trip to Haiti, providing emergent dental care to remote villages.
Dr. Hynes has completed additional training to be certified for Invisalign, implant placement, and oral conscious sedation. It is important to her to continue learning new techniques and technologies to improve patient comfort and facilitate healthy, beautiful smiles.

Dr. Israel Saintil is a Neptune, New Jersey native who made his way south to Washington D.C. for dental school. He graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry in 2016 and received a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry in 2018.
Dr. Saintil loves working with his colleagues as a team that strives to care for a wide-range of dental needs. In particular, he works with children to change their perspective on coming to the dentist. He speaks to them in a way that breaks down the procedures so that they understand what is happening. He likes working in a way that gets children to a perspective in which they love coming to the dentist.

I was glad to see they cared.I used to hate going to the dentist. It felt like my old dentist just didnt care about anything but getting me in and out of the chair. Its not like that here. I was so glad to see that they cared about me.

When they were open, the front-facing side of the business was abysmal. They would rarely answer their phone, had a full inbox, and an emergency number that was canceled. The the doctor and dental assistants were great but everything else was terrible. Makes sense they closed.

No one answers the phone, as in NO ONE. You can't even leave a voicemail because it says the voicemail inbox is full. It's so frustrating.

Online scheduling doesn't work. Do not bother to start services here. They honestly don't keep up with their clients. Shame too because the few times I've had cleaning or procedures the back of house services were great. Front of house has always been a challenge.

I had to call three days straight to until someone finally answered the phone finally got my appointment for Monday at 9am I get there at 8:50 no ones there 9am comes no ones there I call no one answers I sit and wait until 10 no one showed up I finally decided to leave

My experience here was great. Every staff member were friendly and helpful. My daughter seen Dr. Saintil and he was amazing. at the time of her appt. she was 6 and I was 8 months pregnant, she had little work down so she wasn't the happiest and was in some pain. As I was scheduling her follow up the doctor heard her crying and whining and asking me to pick her up. Dr. Saintil came back out asked where I parked and once I was ready to leave he carried her to the car and buckled her in ( asking my permission of course) He was very helpful and made sure i understood everything that went on at the appointment and prepared me for the follow up. I couldnt stay in the room being pregnant but the staff made sure my daughter was ok and after every little thing they did down the each rinse they came out and updated me. The Doctor and staff made myself (being 8 months pregnant) and my daughter very comfortable almost like we were family.

Best dentist experience!!! I recently moved to DC and I am so happy to have found my new dentist already. The doctor was very thorough, kind, and smart, and really put me at ease. The team (especially Ebony and the office manager/front desk) was helpful, knowledgeable and great! They have parking by the Chinese restaurant sign but it does get a little crowded so give yourself a few extra minutes. Highly recommend. Five stars.
