Dr. Jung H. Lee was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. He attended Cornell University, where he received both his Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration and his Master of Engineering degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering. After working for Marriott Hotels & Resorts in New Jersey and Connecticut as a revenue manager for several years, he moved on to pursue his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, to blend his talents in hospitality with his love of dentistry.
He is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance his skills to better serve the dental care needs of his patients and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience.
Dr. Lee is active in the U.S. Army Reserves and is dedicated to his community. He volunteers his services to Medical Teams International, and you may even see him working at the mobile dental van some weekends.
He and his wife, Hyunju, have two beautiful children, Claire and Andrew. In his free time, Dr. Lee likes to play with his children and enjoys exploring the peaceful nature of the Pacific Northwest. He also has a particular interest in cars and airplanes.
Originally established over 40 years ago by Dr. Lenore Ingram and Dr. Akiko Kitada, our practice was acquired by Dr. Lee in 2016. Capital Family Dentistry, is in the heart of West Olympia, just minutes from downtown, The Capital Mall, and our state government offices. My experience was great. I had an appointment for fillings and everyone was nice. Dr. Lee did a great job and everything went smoothly.

The friendly and fantastic dental assistant that did cleanings retired. New assistant is sub par(works too quickly, rushes, rude, complete opposite experience of old assistant) I would find a different office. Dentist did not disclose that I had options for different filling type until I received a bill and practices dishonesty. Office set up an appointment without my knowledge and charged me a cancellation fee. I will make sure that friends and family leave similar feedback so you don't make the same mistake in choosing a dentist as I did.

I moved to this area not long ago and tried to find a dentist. I just had my first filling here and it was the best experience you can have at a dentist. Dr.Lee was just so professional and caring, and the staff were so kind and welcoming. I'll be making Capital Family Dentistry my new dentist office.

I have been here a few times for different things and they are easily the best dentists i have had. Dr. Lee is extremely professional, knowledgable and supportive and the staff is awesome. He calls the evening of each procedure to make sure you are doing okay or have any issues. I recommend him for anybody.

My mom is 79 years old and she had a broken tooth. She was in a lot of pain. She did not have dental insurance nor did she have an appointment. We felt we were out of luck finding anyone who could help her urgently. Dr. Jung H Lee was extremely caring, gentle, reassuring, professional and he even called me after her extraction to see how she was feeling. The secretaries, the technicians were all so kind and understanding. Not only did they try their best to fit my mom into their schedule they gave me the pricing breakdown in advance which was very reasonable. Most importantly, they truly showed great understanding and compassion towards both of us! We love Dr. Lee's Capital Family Dentistry! We both now have an amazing dentist along with his terrific staff! A big thank you to everyone!

Dr. Lee and all his staff are awesome! I have had dozens of dentist throughout my life, and Dr. Lee is the best of the best!!! I highly recommend Capital Family Dentistry - it is for sure a hidden jewel in Olympia!

We have been with numerous dentists, and we highly recommend Dr. Lee. Very knowledgeable in his field, always courteous , and we always appreciate his thorough explanation of everything. When our son needed some treatment for his teeth, he explained all the options we had to treat it. We travel from Pierce County, because we love Capital Family Dentistry that much!

I initially found the dentist in the "yellow pages type thing" that had positive comments, with no negatives. I contacted them to determine of they accepted my insurance, and they did. We were transferring from a dentist outside the area, and they made that a painless procedure for both me and my spouse. One could maybe find a dentist of their equal, but that would take a lot of experimentation, do you trust your teeth to that kind of exposure? Dr Lee and his staff are damd good at what they do and seems to have all the latest equipment for the job at hand.

Dr. Lee is amazing. He is gentle, and always concerned about your level of comfort throughout the procedure and then he follows up with a phone call at the end of the day to check your discomfort level. His staff is understanding and caring, and they do everything possible to accommodate your dental needs and cash flow. I've been to dozens of dental offices over my lifetime, and this office is hands down, the BEST.
