I believe that children are able to do amazing things if given the right opportunities. We try to provide an environment that allows the children to do those things. Kids are honest, funny and capable.

Dr. Rob Coyle is a self-proclaimed dental nerd! He is always reading and learning more about dentistry. Along with Dr. Stine, he is a board certified pediatric dentist in the mid-Missouri region. Board certification requires testing to determine that your knowledge base is top notch, and both dentists are proud of the effort they put forth to attain this certification. Dr. Coyle also received the following certifications:

Outside the practice, Dr. Coyle loves to help people in many different ways. Most recently, Drs. Coyle and Stine along with staff members LeaAnn and Karla shaved their heads for St. Baldricks-Childhood cancer fundraiser 2010!

Dr. Maice Scott is a board certified pediatric dentist. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and obtained her DDS in 2009, where she was recognized for Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry. She then completed a pediatric dental specialty residency that consisted of two-years of advanced training at Childrens Hospital Colorado in 2011. She gained expertise in advanced behavior guidance techniques, hospital dentistry, trauma and prevention. Dr. Scott grew up in Columbia and graduated from the University of Missouri in 2005. She loves doing yoga and spending time with her husband and their two young children.

Dr. Scott is proud to be part of the team at Columbia Dentistry for Children and Capital Dentistry for Children. She believes in quality care and a positive experience for each child. Dr. Scott loves chatting with her patients. She communicates well with children and is able to ease their fears with child-friendly explanations of how things work in the office. You will often find her singing the toothbrush song and checking to make sure there are no polar bears hiding on baby teeth. She loves building confidence in her patients and watching them grow to feel comfortable in the dental setting.

I value the relationships that we are fortunate enough to build within our practice and take great pride in the fact that we are trusted to take care of so many wonderful families. Oh, and the kiddo hugs at the end of the day arent half bad either!

Dr. Greg Stine believes that learning doesnt stop at dental school. His goal is to provide the most up-to-date and state-of-the-art dental care and procedures for your children. As members of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and American Dental Association, both Drs. Stine and Coyle take classes that shed light on the latest and greatest developments in pediatric dentistry. As board certified pediatric dentists in the mid-Missouri region, they have taken the steps to ensure their knowledge base is among the best of the best.

Upon graduation from dental school in 1999, Dr. Stine practiced as a general dentist in the United States Navy for 6 years. He has been treating children exclusively since 2005. Dr. Stine loves the opportunity to help children grow and develop self-confidence. He knows that a confident child is a happy child. Seeing a little patient come in the door with a smile on their face is his goal!

They quoted me a price and they sent me a bill for double the original price I had already paid. When I notified them they basically told me too bad. I will not be going back and I will let everyone I know, never to go there.

It seems as though they have issues with their billing department. I paid in full at the time of service and yet received a very large bill in the mail weeks later. I called to try to get this cleared up and they were VERY unhelpful and told me if I refused to pay it, it would be sent to collections. I don't understand how they can get away with double charging for their services. Hopefully they get this figured out so no one else gets screwed over. I definitely don't recommend them.

My daughter and I actually had a great experience here. The staff was great, as was the dentist...However, I pre submitted my paperwork and insurance information and called a couple times to check on our price after insurance. I was told a total and I paid that total. I even asked a couple times before I left the final appointment if they were sure I wouldn't be getting another bill. They told me no.. The next month I got a bill for over $400...which is over twice what I originaly paid. I have never been to a Dentist that tells you a total and then goes against it. I reached out to them via email and phone and they basically told me too bad. I hate that businesses are getting comfortable being dishonest

Poor customer service. My wife was told when she booked an appointment that they take Tricare. They DO NOT. Being able to submit a claim and being in the network are completely different. This office misled my wife and she ended up paying close to $200 to have our 9 year old's teeth cleaned. Again they are not in the Tricare network. They will submit a claim to Tricare and you will end up paying 2 or 3 times as much as using an in network provider.

Capital Dentistry has always been great for my kids. They explain everything very well and communicate with the kids great! One of my kids has...let's call it special teeth. He's had to have surgery and braces and Capital Dentistry has been great to work with us through all of it. My kids love going to the dentist. As proof, I'm including a picture/writing from my 6 year old that she did in class at school.
