Nick Smith is a lifelong resident of Atlanta, having been raised in the Toco Hills area. He graduated from Briarcliff High School and then attended Emory University College and Emory University Dental School. He has maintained a private practice in Brookhaven since 1979.
He enjoys treating patients of all ages. He maintains a general dental practice but enjoys performing cosmetic and restorative procedures. Dr. Smith attends continuing education courses often. He has taken numerous courses at the L.D. Pankey Institute and the Spear Institute.

With more than 30 years of experience in the dental field, Alicia has been with Dr. Smith for just under a decade. Alicia is a 6 year Veteran of the United States Marine Corps where she received her training as a Certified Dental Assistant. Alicia is fluent in English and Spanish and has a vast knowledge of the many different insurances. Alicia feels that the trust of her patients and the care she assists in providing to them is the key to healthy patient relationships. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to theme parks to experience thrill coasters.
With more than 14 years experience, Shan is able to assist chairside with patient care and help with administrative needs. Shan strives to build relationships with our patients and finds that patient trust is important and also rewarding. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, shopping and swimming.
Jennifer began her career in dentistry in 1990 when she graduated from Tallahassee Community College immediately following her 4 years at FSU where she obtained a BS in Leisure Services. Jennifer and her husband Erik are the proud parents of 2 children Keely and Luke. She enjoys running, swimming, and spinning. In her spare time, she loves hanging out with friends.
Darlene is originally from Miami Florida. Darlene moved to Atlanta with her family in 1981. Darlene is a graduate of Clayton State College and has enjoyed her 20 plusyear career as a Dental Hygienist. In her spare time, Darlene enjoys scuba diving, playing tennis, and passing time with her teenage daughter and canine friends.

WONDERFUL experience with this dentist!! His hygienist 'Jennifer' was both talented, thorough, and painless. Dr. Smith himself has decades of experience, and I could tell from the moment he began to examine me, then clearly discussing the options with me afterwards, that I had found my ultimate Atlanta guy. My own father was a dentist, so I KNOW when I'm in the presence of a gifted professional. Lucky to have found him.

28 years of exceptional service! I have been a patient ever since moving to Atlanta and Nick provides excellent service and is very skilled at his craft. The atmosphere is friendly and family oriented. Appointments are easy to get and everyone is very accommodating. Nick and his staff is also very senior friendly. Give them a try you will be very happy that you did.

Nick Smith has been my dentist since I moved to Atlanta in 1998 --via personal recommendation. And now my two teenage sons. He's smart, honest and kind. And his back office team is always friendly and helpful.

Nick Smith has been my wife's dentist, and mine, for nearly 40 years. Need I say more? Maybe one more thing. One Thanksgiving weekend, when my parents were visiting from New England, my Dad developed a dental problem. Nick made a special trip to his office to fix it. If you see Nick, expect to be welcomed and assisted by his very capable and personable staff, and then treated painlessly and effectively by excellent hands and an excellent mind. You won't be sorry!

Had a terribly dehumanizing visit today. I made an appt just to get pictures of my teeth taken for a practitioner I consulted overseas. I've been chronically ill for years and trying to get to the source(s) of what's keeping me sick. Before my appt I received a phone call from the technician saying Dr. Smith wanted to know why I wanted the photos so I explained the situation to her. I told her that I was working with another practitioner who had seen some issues on a CT scan I sent him and he wanted to photos for further diagnostics. She rudely told me that he wasn't going to be able to diagnose anything without x-rays. I told her again I sent him my CT scan and he only requested the oral pictures. She then told me that I had to have x-rays or Dr. Smith could lose is license for not meeting standards of care. I knew this was crazy but I agreed to get the x-ray that I didn't need in order to get the pictures. When I arrived today, it was clear I was meeting with the same woman. I approached the front desk and she didn't even acknowledge my presence so I just say down until she called me back. After seeing my x-ray, she asked "Were you in an accident or something?" to which I responded "no". "Well, what happened to you?". I'm sure it's in my chart and I'm also sure it's not her business. I'm here to get photos of my teeth. As she's taking the photos, she sees an implant I had placed years ago. "Yeah, that implant's gonna fail", she said. Wow, unbelievable. I'm not here for this technician to diagnose or treat me. Next, she calls in another technician to hold back my cheek to take more photos. "You see that?" she asked the other tech. "You can see the roots. That's not even restorable." All I can say is WOW, WOW, WOW. WOW. How completely demoralizing, unprofessional and out of line. I've seen Dr. Smith many times over the years, but never again will I go to this practice. Patients deserve far more respect and common decency.

I've been Dr. Smith's patient for at least 30 years -- and his father's patient before that. I wouldn't consider seeing anyone else. He and his staff are so warm and friendly, and they always make sure that I'm as comfortable as possible. Dr. Smith explains what's going on very well. When he gives me a recommendation about whether to do a procedure now or wait, I know I can rely on his judgment. He goes above and beyond in every way, as does the rest of his staff. Highly recommended!

I have been coming here for years myself and love Dr. Smith so much! My daughter has also been coming here since the beginning and he has made her comfortable coming to the dentist. She even looks forward to it! The staff is wonderful. They are helpful and knowledgeable and always friendly! Couldn't say enough great things about them all!

The front office staff was so professional and extremely helpful. Dr. Smith's work is phenomenal. He has an art for cosmetic dentistry. Amazing doctor wonderful staff. If you are in the Brookhaven Buckhead area of Atlanta this should be your dentist.
