Dr. Horgan is a Northern Nevada native, born and raised. A Carson High School graduate class of 1996, University of Washington graduate 2000 with a major in Cell and Molecular Biologyand a University of Washington School of Dentistry graduate class of 2004. Dr. Horganfounded Capital City Dental in 2007 to work in his hometown serving the community in whichhe was raised. Dr. Horgan enjoys dentistry and getting to know his patients throughlong term relationships. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors -skiing, biking and fishing are just afew hobbies. As a proud husband and father of two sons most of his free time is spent enjoying raising his boys and attending their sporting events and school functions.
Sherril is a native nevadan born and raised in Sparks, she graduated Sparks High School in 1998. Sherril graduated from the University of Nevada Reno with a bachelors degree in Biology in 2002, she went on to attend hygiene school at Apollo College in Boise, ID graduating in 2007. Sherril returned home to Nevada and began working with Dr. Horgan shortly after his opening of Capital City Dental in 2007.Sherril enjoys raising her two young sons and watching her husband coaching and playing soccer. In her free time she would love a nap.
Laurenis a native Nevadan! She graduated from The University of Nevada - Reno with a bachelors degree in Anthropology. She attended the dental hygiene program at Truckee Meadows Community College, whereshe received an associates degree and become a licensed registered dental hygienist.Lauren has worked for Dr. Horgan for the past 8years. She isa devoted wife and mom of two great kids! Any free time I have I like to travel and work oncrafts.
Dena has over25 years dental assisting experience. She delivers a comfortable and pleasant dental visit withher vast knowledge of dentistry and patient care. She enjoys meeting new people and helping anyone with dental anxieties. Dena is a happy wife and mother to her adult son. She enjoys car shows and time spentwith her family includingtwo Pomeranian children.
Stephaniehas worked in the dental field for the past 27years in Carson City. She has vast knowledge of dental insurance and treatment planning. She enjoys working with people helping them understand their insurance, maximizing coverage, and minimizing they're out of pocket cost. Stephanieis a proud wife of 28years, mother of 2 adult sons, and grandmother to fivedarling grandchildren.

Weare happy to bill your insurance for services however patient portion is due at the time services are rendered, unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Please remember any services rendered are the sole responsibility of the patient or guardian regardless of insurance. Insurance companies have 30 days to reply to submitted claims. Statements are sent monthly to inform you of your account status and insurance payments. We will help you with maximizing your insurance benefits and interprit your plan to help minimize your out of pocket spending.
Financing is available to everyone through Care Credit on approved credit. Patients can apply in our office, on CareCredit.com or by calling 1-800-365-8295. Many financing plans qualify for interest free payment programs based on the amount financed.

The office staff was great. Everyone there was most pleasant and did an efficient job for my first visit to Capital City Dental. I enjoyed meeting Dr. Horgan and am looking forward to working with him for my dental health. My hygienist did an excellent job on my teeth. They look and feel wonderful. I would recommend visiting Dr. Horgan D.D.S. if you need to see a dentist.

I love this dentist office. All of the staff are good, friendly and kind. I travel for work so it's difficult for me to schedule appointments. Stephanie puts me on their cancellation list and I have always been accommodated. Not too many other offices would do this!

Dr Horgan and his staff are always courteous and helpful - We have an extreme amount of confidence in Dr. Hogan's excellent work and honest advice over the many years my wife and I have been seeing him for our dental care. Clearly he ranks as one of the best dentists in the area!
