For most individuals, choosing a dentist can be a very difficult decision. They want a practitioner they can trust to do what's best for them and with whom they can be comfortable. Referrals are our number one source of acquiring new patients, and we take pride in the fact that our patients trust us enough to recommend us to their co-workers, friends, and family.

'I take this trust very seriously because I have always considered my patients to be friends and members of our dental care family. That is why putting patients at ease about their dental needs has been the top priority for me since I began practicing in 1984. Most of all, I want you to know that you can turn to me for all your dental needs - from tooth whitening to full reconstruction, I enjoy all the latest procedures. I take great interest in learning about new advances and better forms of treatment that are constantly developing in dentistry, and I feel that I owe it to my patients to be fully knowledgeable about them.'

I had THE BEST experience with Cape Dental. Making the initial appointment was so pleasant. The visit was more than I expected. Feeling as though you're cared about is a unique experience for me. Questions were answered in a way that I understood. The staff were just AWESOME in my book. May God bless you Cape Girardeau Dental Care! Looking forward to my next visit.

The dental hygienists here are always super nice and really care about your health. I always get great explanations from them when I ask questions or have concerns. The dentists are also thorough and nice. Sometimes the wait is long. That is my only complaint!

Heather and Kayla are the type of people that makes this world a better place and they really are shining stars for an exemplary staff! CGDC took such great care of me that I can't put it into words! They helped restore my smile, confidence, self-esteem and most importantly my overall health. Still have more work to get done but I look forward to my journey with this group of practitioners, they are simply the best!

Walk away. If I could leave a zero star I would. I went in to see if I could get my upper dentures repaired because they had a crack in them. I handed them to the dentist he looked at them for a minute or less and said they could send them out and have them repaired. I said give me an estimate for the repair and a new upper plate. They gave me an estimate for over $2200 for the repair and didn't give me an estimate for a new upper plate. The dentist never even looked in my mouth and charged me $156.00 for an office visit. I will never go back and would never refer anyone to them. Their all about the money and weren't even going to do any work.

Just to follow up on the message I posted here yesterday. The office called me this morning and told me that a credit had been put back in my account. While I'm glad that I finally got to hear from the office on this, I'm still in disbelief that there could be such a big difference between the estimate in the treatment plan ($147.20) and the actual cost ($19). I suspect that a mistake was made somewhere in processing the claim. I reread the EOB. On this EOB, only one tooth number (#19) was listed, but I was there that day for fillings for three teeth. So, I called my insurance company just now. It turned out this EOB was not for the 3 fillings. It was for the dental cleaning I had on 4/21/22. The 3 fillings were done on 5/16/22. The EOB for that service hasn't arrived yet. On the phone, the rep told me that my responsibility for the three fillings is $91. Dr. Kaelin has been my dentist for many years. He has done many dental jobs for me, like root canal, several crowns and flings, etc. I've always paid whatever were my responsibilities, on time, all these years. If the office staff would have looked into my inquiry more carefully and given me an explanation timely, none of this needs to happen. It's not a complex issue after all.

I always have a great experience in this office. The people there create a relaxing atmosphere. They all are good at what they do and they explain everything so you know exactly what's going on while your in the chair.
