He attended Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD and graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. Shortly after, he assisted in a study of bruxism (nocturnal tooth grinding) with Dr. Mark Teaford at Johns Hopkins Medical School.

By far the best care and treatment I have received. From the easily accessible parking to the short walk into the office, always greeted as soon as I walk in. The dental care is amazing, and the setting feels homey, coming from someone who has bad anxiety in small spaces and medical settings, I would recommend Dr. Capati, his hygienists and the rest of his excellent staff to anyone wanting great, gentle and affordable dental care!

The staff is always friendly and pleasant. My first visit they were quick to let me know exactly what to expect financially and regarding the procedures. They are conscious of different needs and capabilities when it comes to insurance and things like that. I was nervous about my first cleaning in a long time and Brittany made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed! She is wonderful. Dr. Capati is always thorough and never seems rushed. I'm very happy with my experiences there!

Dr. Capati and his staff is just wonderful. I haven't had bad experience there. I always trust their recommendations and I have never been offered unnecessary procedures. This is very different from my past experiences with other dentist's offices. All staff members, from front desk and dental hygienist, are very professional and courteous. Best Dentist Ever! Capati Dental has phenomenal services and technologies that make going to the dentist a fun experience. During your service in a private room, you are able to fully relax watching a live stream of penguins (adorable) while having almost every service done without moving! Capati Dental uses state of the art equipment and utilizes their well trained and friendly staff to service any need proficiently. If I could rate higher than 5/5 I would! They have gained this new patient for life!

Very attentive staff from emergency appointments to follow ups. During my recent visit for extractions and filling's the staff met all my needs and kept me very comfortable. After moving here from Missouri I was very nervous to find another dentist. The reason that I was nervous is because I believe it is hard to find a honest but very thorough dentist with flexible hours! I got a referral to Capati dental from a friend here in Springfield. I have been going to Capati dental for about 8 years now the staff is very pleasant with great personality! Every time I walk out of there I feel like I am there only patient because of the great Professional care and treatment I receive! I'm very blessed to be a patient there! Thank you Capati dental!!

I consistently have a great experience at Capati Dental. Lauren and the rest of the office staff is very nice and sends text updates for appointment reminders and clear instructions for Covid precautions. Brittany is a knowledgeable hygienist and is always thorough and caring. Mary saw my young child for their first appointment as well and did a great job creating a comfortable environment. I always find this office to be very detail oriented and is more honest than other dental providers I've seen previously. Highly recommend Capati Dental.

My kids love Dr. Capati and his wonderful hygienists, as do I when I take them there. Mary Kay is so personable and has become like a good friend after about five years of my kids being patients. The office has taken thorough precautions in light of COVID-19, and I always feel comfortable there. Dr. Capati and his staff have also gone above and beyond to make sure my daughter's habit corrector fits right and is comfortable. This practice is extremely kid-friendly, with giant, wall-mounted TVs that they can watch to stay content and entertained during exams and waiting time. The downtown location is also very convenient for us, as my office and my kids' schools are both nearby. Furthermore, it's great to know we are supporting a local business. I highly, highly recommend Capati Dental!

I had a horrible toothache and they got me in the same day and went over all of my options with me and let me choose what option worked for me. I felt very calm and secure after they explained how my treatment would progress. Im also now very excited as I have set up to get my front teeth fixed by Capati dental so I can smile again! Without the fear of anyone seeing my teeth. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wonderful dentist.

Let me start by saying that, in my experience, it has been difficult for me to find a dentist's office with consistently excellent quality care (I've had a couple of bad experiences in the past), and when I find an office that is as wonderful as Dr. Capati's I tend to stay with them for a long time. I have been coming here for a few years now. I see Brittany and Dr. Capati for my bi-annual cleaning + checkup. Dr. Capati and his staff are knowledgable, professional and helpful. I really appreciated when Dr Capati told me about this device for my (mild-moderate) sleep apnea. It would free me up from using a CPAP machine. I didn't know such a thing existed, it will definitely allow me to go on longer camping trips if I'm no longer so dependent on a CPAP (which uses electricity or portable models with short-lived batteries). He answered all my questions about it, and he even uses it himself! Brittany and the ladies at the front desk are so kind, friendly, and pleasant to interact with and I genuinely look forward to my appointments.
