3D printers are growing in popularity in a number of professions, and dentistry is no exception. The ability to generate dental appliances right here in our office is a tremendous advantage. By not sending these to an outside company, we save valuable treatment time and are better able to control the quality of the end product. We use our 3D printer to produce custom surgical guides for guided implant surgery, which allows us to deliver precise, predictable results in dental implant placement. We can also generate clear aligners for orthodontic treatment, should you need your teeth straightened.

We use our cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scanner to produce high-resolution 3D images of your mouth that help us plan out various treatments, including dental implants. This technology operates with a fraction of the radiation output of the conventional CT machines found in many dental and medical facilities, so it provides a safer experience.

With our toothbrush-size camera we can capture high-quality, close-up images of your teeth and gums, allowing us to easily identify problem areas. We can also help you understand your diagnosis and treatment plan by showing you those problem areas on a monitor in the exam room in real-time. The intraoral scanner enables us to make digital impressions for treatments such as crowns, bridges, and porcelain veneers. You no longer have to bite down on a mouthful of sticky, unpleasant putty for impressions!

I met a great Dentist today at Canyons Family Dental. Her name is Dr. Emily Brons-Fiche. She made me feel very comfortable. I look forward to meeting with her again soon.

Everyone was very positive and helpful. All of my questions were addressed and they were able to fit me in for a cleaning which was not a part of my original appointment.

Dr Callahan checked on a crown I had done somewhere else and it was still killing my me. I thought I had a root canal. He did a complete thorough exam. Did an extra. Than examined again before letting me know the problem. The other dentist did not set it down correctly and some of my root was exposed. He caught it in time. He is thorough and worth the wait.

5 stars for Dr. Callahan. I didn't like filling out more paperwork than a mortgage at the front desk but it was worth it to have the best dentist in Utah work on my tooth.

I have been attending this dentist going on 8 years now, and so far it has been a mostly positive experience. The team their works to ensure the hippieness of the families that attend their practice. A good dentist is a very difficult thing to locate and once in a while you get lucky. :)

Was my first visit to this dentist, they were very helpful and made sure i understood everything that was going on, And helped me understand all the charges. I could tell the dentist and dental assistant cared if they were hurting me or not, And just wanted to make sure they took care of me in one day. Would recommend to anyone needing a good dentist in the Sandy area.

My visit started with X-rays and polishing by the assistant. I'm not accustomed to an assistant doing a polish and flossing before seeing the hygienist, I would prefer the hygienist polishes and flosses my teeth after her scaling so the tooth surfaces are left smooth. It didn't feel like the polish did any good. The hygienist did a great job of scaling my teeth but when I left it didn't feel finished.

Visited Canyon Family Dental for my teeth cleaning and periodic dental checkup today. It was my first time at this facility. My hygienist Vanja who came over with me from Alta Canyon Dental was wonderful and thorough as always. Her assistant Brynley was competent, friendly and kept me informed of everything she was doing. The facilities and equipment are state of the art. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this practice.

Not a good experience... New Dentists, New "Corporate ownership " Curt and condescending reception. Temp hygienist was not knowledgeable of equipment (x-ray) WAY off with insurance and my account... The friendly neighborhood clinic vibe was totally absent... Have more if you want to hear it.
