Dr. Curtis West was born in Camarillo, California but lived in Houston Texas for many years. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors of Science in Zoology and minors in chemistry and Spanish. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University. Dr. West has been part of a research program for testing the effectiveness of dental materials and currently applies the policies of research support materials into his daily practice.Dr. West has attended various programs, achieving his oral sedation license and a vast knowledge of implant placement and restoration.Dr. West believes that patients deserve to be treated as individuals and designs each treatment plan accordingly. He always employs a gentle touch and, above all else, wants to make sure that each dental experience is enjoyable and exceeds expectations. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry yet his favorite is restoring smiles.

Julie Anne was my dental hygienist and she did a wonderful job!! Not to mention making me feel comfortable, less anxious and most importantly like I actually mattered!! KUDOS to her!! Dr Curtis West was great and explained everything to me, listened to the issues I was having and offered solutions/ choices! Best dental experience I have had in 54 years!! So thorough!!

I've been dealing with the staff (multiple within the office) for 2 years now. They are all very kind, caring, respectful folks. I'm very happy/satisfied with my encounters with Canyon Trails Family Dental. My current dentist is Dr. Campbell. I like his professionalism, as well as great personality! His assistant Yori is fantastic, and Antasia who runs the front desk and handles the insurance side of things is spectacular. Kudos to the whole office staff.

My hygienist this morning was great & personable. Minus 1 star for having to wait for the doctor to peep my teeth for 30 seconds. Otherwise overall good.

This is a great dental office. Dr Wheeler and his staff are total professionals. They make you feel comfortable as soon as you open the front door. I have recommended numerous friends to this dental office. I love this place.

Dr. Hamish Carpenter is extremely thorough, caring, and laid back. I'm an anxious person and he was very patient and calming during my treatment. Margarita is an amazing, genuine person. She's good at making you laugh when you're nervous! Everyone there is helpful and very knowledgeable, they remember you by name and make you feel welcome in their office. Another bonus, they keep their office very chilly! You're in good hands at this dental office.
