Dr. Jason Setlock was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. He received his undergraduate degree From Canisius College in Buffalo, where he majored in English and minored in Biology. He then attended Dental school at the University of New York at Buffalo. While in dental school Dr Setlock received several awards for academic excellence including the William L. Tucker Scholarship, and the Carl W. Lasher Scholarship. Dr. Setlock graduated magna cum laude, received the endodontic award in his graduating class, and was inducted in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Setlock engaged in private practice for most of the last decade in Buffalo, NY. While in Buffalo, Dr. Setlock was recognized as a top clinician in his field, and was selected by his peers and referring dentists as one of the top endodontists in the United States. Dr Setlock is dedicated to providing state of the art care, while always being focused on patient comfort and well-being. Dr Setlock is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontics, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Dr Setlock is married to his wife Emily and together they have three children: Nate, Ben and Greta. Hobbies include Camping, Fly-fishing, hiking, yoga, and spending time catching up with their busy family. Their children are active and engaged in community sports and much of their spare time revolves around keeping up with their children.
Dr Setlock is very happy to be practicing with the doctors of Canyon Ridge Endodontics. They share a high degree of integrity and are similarly dedicated to excellence, taking great pride in their work.
Dr. Molina then attended dental school at Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in Mesa, Arizona, where she earned dual degrees: Doctor of Dental Medicine and Master of Public Health. During her dental education, Dr. Molina participated in clinical externships throughout the western United States, providing comprehensive dental care for military veterans, the homeless, and other underserved populations in community health centers. Dr. Molina graduated dental school at the top of her class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
While in dental school, Dr. Molina developed a passion for endodontics and pursued this following her graduation by entering the endodontics residency at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. This specialty program focused on root canal therapy, endodontic retreatment, and apical surgery. After completing her residency program, Dr. Molina moved back home to Phoenix, where she practiced in a multispecialty group practice for two years before joining the team at Canyon Ridge Endodontics in 2017.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and then graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1991 (he cheers for both schools!). Dr. Helvey decided to give back by going into public health dentistry and went on to provide care for underserved populations. First as a general dentist in the Four Corners region as a Lieutenant in the US Public Health Service-Indian Health Service and then the East Coast with the US Public Health Service-National Health Service. Dr. Helvey then returned out West where he worked as an associate in private practice in Spokane, Washington, and Breckenridge, Colorado before opening his own dental practice in the beautiful resort town of Sandpoint, Idaho.
Over the next 10 years, Dr. Helvey grew a successful practice focusing on cosmetic and restorative dentistry, married his wife Magdalena, and had their son Aleksander. Eventually, Dr. Helvey decided to pursue his goal of specializing as an endodontist and was accepted to the highly competitive endodontic program at the VA Long Beach Medical Center. Dr. Helvey sold his practice in Idaho and the family moved to California where he graduated with his Certificate in Endodontics in 2012. The Helveys then settled in Denver, Colorado where Dr. Helvey practiced as an endodontist until they moved to Arizona in the spring of 2020.
Dr. Helvey brings vast experience in dentistry in a variety of settings and is excited to have found a home with Canyon Ridge Endodontics. The shared attention to quality, integrity, and the ability to collaborate so closely with colleagues sets the practice apart. The Helveys are a skiing family that also loves mountain biking, hiking with their Polish Mountain Sheep Dog named Ani, traveling, and sharing in good food and drinks with family and friends.
