Canyon Point Oral Surgery did an excellent job. I had a dental emergency and they were able to get me in right away. They handled my issue with absolute care and professionalism. I would recommend them to anyone.

I simply do not have enough words to express my gratitude towards Dr. Madlock and his staff. I had four wisdom teeth removed in December 2021 and was extremely nervous for the process as I had never been under anesthesia and I am a red head. His nurse Lauren is so warm and welcoming and immediately put me at ease. Upon meeting Dr. Madlock he gave me a clear treatment plan and I trusted his judgment immensely. As I was preparing for surgery, they had to take a rude, unruly, loud patient (with no appointment) so my surgery was delayed. I am a really understanding person so this did not bother me, it gave me more time to mentally prepare for the surgery lol. They put on Christmas music in the room and Dr. Madlock even gave me a $50 Starbucks gift card for having to wait. I did not wake up during surgery like I had feared, and the possible complications did not happen. Surgery went great! Healing went smoothly! Dr. Madlock gives his patients his cell phone number and will text you for updates during your healing process. I am so thankful for Dr. Madlock, his staff and their customer service. A few weeks after my surgery, my boyfriend had an infected tooth that started to swell in his face. I sent Dr. Madlock pictures through text at like 9pm and he brought us in the next day for emergency surgery, having never seen my boyfriend as a patient. These people are truly incredible and do what they can for your health and well being. They do deal with a lot of unpleasant patients, looking for something to complain about. So, bring them treats to show your gratitude, it really goes a long way and means a lot to them! I tell all my friends needing oral surgery to make the trip to see Dr. Madlock, you will not regret it! Thank you Dr. Madlock and Lauren for all you have done for us!

I was not fully informed about the process of removing an infected root canal, having a bone graft, and lastly, an implant. I had a lot of questions for the "Ivy League" educated doctor about the surgery, healing, time frame, and post op care. On my first consultation visit, I made it clear that I leave town for the summer. On my post op appointment, I was trying to figure out how to coordinate procedures and follow up appointments with travel plans. He insulted me by telling me I was the kind of person that "engineers" my own care. Then he went into a litany of how highly educated he is. Good credentials, but no people skills. I will never go back to this doctor.

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Madlock and his staff. My experience has been extremely positive. He is extremely knowledgeable, always answered my questions and made sure I had a thorough understanding of my surgery before I proceeded. Dr. Madlock is awesome! I am grateful that I found him!

I was in need of an imminent extraction of a fractured wisdom tooth with a small cyst under it and was referred to Dr. Madlock and his team by my dentist in Summit County. I heard from several assistants in my dentists office that "he is an excellent oral and maxillofacial surgeon. I would go to him over any other doctor". I made an appointment for the surgery within 4 days (which was great because I was starting to experience some discomfort) and upon arrival, was immediately put at ease with the efficiency and professionalism of Dr. Madlock's staff. Dr. Madlock has excellent bedside manner, is calm, thorough in his explanation of the procedure by using computer and X-ray images to indicate the problem and answered all of my questions pertaining to the surgery and recovery. I called him (hesitantly)at home on a Saturday morning, with a concern regarding some swelling and he immediately picked up the phone. Everyone on his staff has excellent communication skills. I'm know our paths will cross again as I'm sure another dental dilemma will (unfortunately) eventually arise but I am certain I will receive THE BEST of care with Dr. Madlock and will refer him to family and friends, without hesitation.

My experience at Dr.Madlock's office was everything you could hope for and more when being told that oral surgery is needed. I was very nervous to get my teeth extracted but Dr.Madlock's confidence and knowledge put my mind at ease. His staff is welcoming, patient, friendly, and his assistants provide the best bedside manner. From the moment you walk in until your treatment is over, Dr.Madlock and his staff provide care and concern for their patients. I will recommend all my family and friends in need of oral surgery to Canyon Point!

So I seen Dr Paul Matlock and I think he's a great guy very professional and knows exactly what he's doing. That being said I think that he rushed me out because I was the last patient and he did not finish my stitching on one of the four teeth that he took out which was the last one. The stitches came out hours after leaving surgery. Also, he subscribed to me 30 oxycontins and when I went to fill them at the pharmacy I was told that it is illegal for a dentist to subscribe that many so they only gave me 19 and told me I had to call my dentist to get the remaining 11. If this is true I feel like he should have known that. As for the anesthesiologist who put the needle in my gum, there was way too much pressure enough to make me cry when I told this man that I would not come back here again because that was uncalled for he explained that nobody likes that part because it hurts. I am here to tell you I have been to several dentists and no one has ever made me cry like this guy did. When I called this morning to make a formal complaint on this anesthesiologist I was put on hold halfway through explaining myself. The woman on the telephone returned only to defend her coworker as if he had done nothing wrong. Well I never did say that he did anything wrong but she sure came back defending him, why is this? Has this happened in the past is that why she hung up on me or was it because I was angry and use the f word with her? Either way it goes I feel like she should have transferred me to someone who had the patience to speak with an angry person at the time, or at least returned my phone call when she hung up on me. This is why I will not return to canyon point.

Dr. Madlock and his staff did a perfect job with my wisdom teeth. I was able to eat solid food that night and go back to normal activities, such as sports, after only a couple of days. No additional medication aside from ibuprofen and advil were used for pain relief. They were all very kind and helpful.

Dr. Madlock took out 4 wisdom teeth on me. I was able to go back to volleyball 4 days after with no problems. I had minor swelling and minor pain. I was not in need of any pain meds above ibuprofen (Advil) or Tylenol. Even though my extractions were more difficult, Dr. Madlock's techniques and skills made my wisdom teeth removal easier than I expected. He and his staff were very nice to me and made sure that the procedure went flawlessly. I did not have to wait a long time for them to take me into one of the surgery rooms. I recommend him with no hesitation.

Dr. Madlock and his staff were very quick and made my wisdom teeth procedure go smoothly. I'm very afraid of needles and they helped me calm down before getting the IV in. Everything is clean and well, feeling good just a couple hours after the surgery. Only a little sore the next day and didnt need the pain meds.

I was referred to Dr. Madlock for an emergency tooth extraction and implant on a Monday. The staff worked extra hard getting me in for all the X-ray, scans, etc. to prepare for my surgery over their lunch hour. The care they gave me was above and beyond. Great surgical staff! Sarah at the front desk was also very friendly and took the time to go over all my dental benefits and made sure I asked questions on anything I didn't understand. Since yesterday, day of my surgery, I have recommended Dr. Madlock to all my friends and family to give Canyon Point a call above anyone else! Thanks for a great experience! Lisa

Very long wait. I was waiting for the surgeon for over 20 minutes alone in my room. Very nice.

Dr Madlock and his staff worked me in on Friday following my accident in Estes Park, Co. My cardiologist was slow in responding to our request for medical clearance so they did my surgery to include bone grafts and surgical removal of tooth and bone pieces on Saturday morning. They were very sympathetic to me and my situation (I could not close my mouth). I took only one pain pill the night of surgery because I thought it might be beneficial. I had no swelling and no discomfort (not even a Tylenol because it was not needed). My Oral Surgeon in Florida looked at x-rays and commented that Dr Madlock had done an Excellent job. There was plenty of bone for my planned implants. I was very lucky to find such an excellent staff in my time of need. I would recommend this staff to anyone requiring the skills of an Oral Surgeon. I am a Dentist so I do have an excellent understanding of all things dental
