Dr. Falk is a board-certified oral surgeon who earned his DMD from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Medicine and completed his residency at the renowned Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Moody is also board-certified and was accepted to the prestigious University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency, where he learned directly under the world-renowned Dr. Robert Marx. Both doctors are members of local, regional, and national societies and regularly attend continuing education meetings for their specialties.

Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Dr. Falk graduated high school and completed 2 years of undergraduate training. Having married a Las Vegas native, he decided to complete his undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Falk cares deeply about his patients and wants everyone to have a great experience at his practice. In keeping with this philosophy, Dr. Falk will go above and beyond to ensure his patients feel safe and comfortable throughout their treatment.

Dr. Falk keeps up to date on the latest advancements in the field and has outfitted both Canyon Oral & Facial Surgery Dental Implant Experts practices with the latest surgical and diagnostic equipment. Dr. Falk finds it personally rewarding to be able to help his patients smile again as he delivers professional, experienced, and trusted oral and cosmetic surgery services.

Dr. Falk completed his undergraduate education from the University of Las Vegas, Nevada, and later earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine.

After dental school, Dr. Falk completed a 4-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at both Loyola University Medical Center and Hines Veterans Administration Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, where he was Chief Resident. During his training in Chicago, he was exposed to a wide variety of procedures including the surgical removal of wisdom teeth, dental implant placement, bone grafting, intravenous (IV) sedation and general anesthesia, corrective jaw surgery, treatment of temporomandibular (TMJ) disorders including total joint replacement, oral and facial pathology, and facial trauma and reconstruction.

Dr. Falk is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is licensed to practice dentistry in Nevada as a specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He is licensed to perform in-office general anesthesia and is a member of local, regional, and national societies. Dr. Falk regularly attends continuing education meetings for his specialties. He is an assistant professor at the UNLV School of Medicine, Department of Plastic Surgery and at the UNLV School of Dental Medicine.

When Dr. Falk is not perfecting smiles, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys. He is an active member in the community and enjoys outdoor activities, such as motorbiking, camping, fishing, and winter sports.

Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, Dr. Moody comes to Canyon Oral & Facial Surgery Dental Implant Experts as a passionate and experienced oral and maxillofacial surgeon. A natural people person with a sense for detail and a high standard for excellence, Dr. Moody takes the time to get to know his patients and receives the greatest joy from a successful treatment.

After a brief attendance at the University of Utah, Dr. Moody completed his bachelors degree from the University of Las Vegas prior to earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. During his time here, he developed a sincere passion for oral surgery and knew that this would be the right profession for him.

Dr. Moody was then accepted to the prestigious University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital oral and maxillofacial surgery residency, where he learned under the world-renowned Dr. Robert Marx and later served as Chief Resident, covering 4 hospitals, including Jackson Memorial Hospital (a level I trauma center) and the VA Medical Center. He received extensive training in wisdom tooth removal, dental implants, bone grafting (including the use of stem cells and tissue engineering), pre-prosthetic surgery, intravenous (IV) sedation and general anesthesia, trauma, facial reconstruction, corrective jaw surgery, oral and facial pathology, and facial cosmetics.

Dr. Moody is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is licensed to practice his specialty in the state of Nevada. He is a member of local, regional, and national societies and regularly attends continuing education meetings for his specialties. Dr. Moody is an assistant professor at the UNLV School of Medicine, Department of Plastic Surgery and at the UNLV School of Dental Medicine.

Outside of work, you can find Dr. Moody enjoying many different activities. He loves spending time with his family and enjoying the outdoors, as well as going to the gym, experiencing the many restaurants Las Vegas has to offer, and catching up with friends.
