Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. This was my first time at Canyon Lakes Dental. Jocelyn was my hygienist, and she did a wonderful job. They were very thorough. I was there longer than expected, but left knowing my mouth had been thoroughly examined and cleaned. Very pleased.

My visit was nothing short of exceptional. My cleaning was done by Richard who was amazing. My teeth have never felt cleaner. The exam was with Dr. Ullah and her assistant Issac, and they were both outstanding!!! Usually I hate going to the dentist but Dr. Ullah made me feel sure to explain what she was doing and why at every step which made me completely comfortable. Her bedside manner along with Issacs were phenomenal they truly made me feel welcomed. I can not wait till my next cleaning and exam 6 months from now! Only will be going to see Dr. Ullah from here on out.

Always pushing unnecessary procedures and pushing them at outlandish rates. The front desk people seem to think they can make condescending comments about your family because they have been patients for over 15 years. Dentist are doctors and are supposed to help people. Not tmake them feel worse because they can't afford a root canal. Save your time money and energy and go somewhere else for the sake of your dental health.

People Great - BUT BEWARE that new App / Software exposes personal information. The Terms & Conditions (T&C's) state information is shared with international partners. Companies outside the US are not subject to HIPPA laws and can sell medical and personal information. Ability to opt out are available via writing, however, the T&C's also state that T&C's can be adjusted at any given time without notice. It is the individual's responsibility to review T&C's on a periodic basis. Canyon Lake and app provider Pacific Dental Services, LLC can change the T&C's to remove the ability to opt out and require sharing of formation to international partners. No where in the T&C's does it state Canyon Lake or Pacific Dental Services, LLC have to notify you of changes or provide details of who gets information internationally or that any personal data already transmitted will be deleted from international databases. Basically, if you do not delete your account on the day T&C's change, your medical and personal data will be transmitted. The advise given by Canyon Lakes is to review T&C's at visits and make a decision at that time..... unfortunately, my medical and dental information can be out there for 6 months before I go back for an appointment ....

The staff is friendly enough but their fees are so much higher than my dentist and it is always worst case scenario here (my boys have never had anything more than your basic cavity before). They really seem to push unnecessary services at very high rates. My boys are covered under their dad and unfortunately his insurance changed this last year. I am looking for another dentist that takes Cigna but am considering paying out of pocket at my dentist as it will be cheaper than what Canyon Dental quoted me with insurance. Kind of sad how much they gouge people.

I needed teeth cleaning so I went here and I told them "Yo I need my teeth cleaned". Guess what they did, they cleaned my teeth. Great job and great service, will come next time I need to clean my teeth.

I went to Canyon Lakes for my braces and mouth correction. They are the best dental and orthodontics experience I've had. Pretty early on into my braces, the lead orthodontist had switched out. I was worried about the transition, but it wasn't a problem. I still had the same great and caring experience that I had. The front staff also were great at making me feel welcome and helping me book my next appointments. I highly recommend Canyon Lakes for anyone looking for dentistry or orthodontics.
