Dr. Jake Sorensen was born in Cache Valley and raised in Smithfield, Utah. He graduated from Sky View High School in 2000. While attending Sky View High School he received an Art scholarship to USU where he started his college education prior to his LDS mission.
After returning from his LDS mission to Rome, Italy he decided that he wanted to focus his art career on maintaining and restoring beautiful smiles as a dentist. He supported his college education working as a Lab technician at Canyon Dental Arts were much of his time was spent fabricating esthetic crowns and bridges. After receiving his bachelors degree at USU he continued his professional education at Dalhousie Dental School in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Went in for a cleaning and exam with Dr Ellsworth and had the most thorough cleaning and explanations for treatment than I've ever experienced at the dentist. If you are nervous about dentists, care about bedside manner, and want to be incharge of what is done to your teeth, ask for Dr Ellsworth! 10/10 would recommend

Dr. J is the best Dentist all around in cache valley. He is thorough and fast and always fixes me up great everytime I visit his office. I would highly recommend him and his staff if you are in need of dental care.

The office staff is very friendly, attentive and thorough. They explain everything. They even work with you on insurance issues. Dr. Sorensen is knowledgeable, compassionate and thorough. It's the best dental office I've been to ever.

I was so impressed! They got us in quickly for an emergency visit. Everyone was so polite and kind. Dr.Sorenson was knowledgeable and fast! We would definitely recommend him for anyone needing a dentist.

First visit and I'm sold!! Dr Sorenson is great - he listened to what I wanted, didn't try to up sell me or try to get me to immediately do what he wanted, he explained all my options and said when I was ready to make an appointment. He is a breath of fresh air!!!. I am pretty sure I have found my dentist!!

Dr Sorensen is extremely personable and thorough. My last visit was not a common place dental issue and he still went above and beyond to help find a solution. I highly recommend Dr Sorensen and his staff! 5 stars!!

I'm new to Cache Valley and was referred to Dr. Sorensen for a crown. You won't be disappointed coming here for your dental needs because Dr. Sorensen and his staff are awesome and are all so welcoming! He is very knowledgeable and makes sure everything feels good before you leave his office. I would definitely recommend coming here!!

I used to be afraid of the dentist now we see Dr. Jake Sorensen. We are no longer afraid. We always enjoy our appointments and seeing the staff and Dr. They became family.

I've never loved going to the dentist even though I don't have any real significant dental issues. Coming here and seeing Jake Sorenson I no longer have anxiety about my yearly check ups. The staff is always friendly and patient and very understanding about my anxieties and the dentist. I no longer fear the dentist and I love how clean my teeth feel after my visit. My 2 kids and my husband also come here. My daughter is on the autism spectrum and my son has his own challenges and they enjoy thier dental visits. Everyone there is great with both of my children. They do a great job!!

Canyon Dental is great! Dr Sorensen is knowledgeable, thorough and able to put patients at ease. The entire staff is helpful, friendly, relaxed, and happy to be at work. It was a big change from the dentist office we used to visit. My entire family no longer minds going to the dentist.
