Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Canyon Country Dental is the absolute best dental practice in Santa Clarita!!I've had a lot of extensive work done here and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Post osseous surgery and a bone graft, bridge placement, root canal you name it. I felt nothing. After care was so smooth and they numb me to the Gods!!! I love this place!!!

Dr Nygen is the best. She is very patient, relatable and knowledgeable. I have been going to her now for 12 years and she always been awesome. The front staff is better now. She puts up with my antics about prices

EDIT: I went from 3 stars to 1 because they billed the wrong insurance... didnt take the time to bill the new insurance and sent me to a debt collection agency that even after paying still calls on the same debt months after paying. After a year and a few visits including some root canals I give the dentist and other dental professionals and most of the front office staff a solid 4 but once you factor the couple front office staff that will put you on hold for way too long, try to get you to reschedule the day of, or come off condescending we land at a 3.

Horrible customer service, The front desk ladies need more training. I work for cooperate my self if my company had this service I'll make sure their trained or maybe fired because their not friendly . They put you on hold so long they start at 8 am why would you out someone on hold . I rather take my service somewhere else like across the street . Horrible won't recommend .

I can't say enough about the professionalism, kindness and care given to me by the staff at this dental practice. We recently moved to Santa Clarita and were looking for a Dentist. Doctor Terri Nguyen has incredible skills only exceeded by her genuine care for her patients. She called me twice to make sure I was doing well after having some work done. From the time you walk in and are greeted by the front desk to your time working with each of her staff members you truly feel loved and cared for. For many going to a Dentist brings up challenging memories. This is not true with Canyon Country Dental. I strongly recommend you consider visiting and seeing how wonderful this practice. I never felt any pressure to have any service done that wasn't necessary. Thank you Doctor Nguyen and staff for all your help and kindness.

They didn't properly record new insurance, billed old insurance, claim I owe money, have not properly resolved with new insurance and have sent what I "owe" to debt collectors. Even after multiple times calling in to let them know they billed the wrong insurance they have not resolved.

too harsh on teeth, staff is also rude. be careful when they're working on your teeth they may purposely work on them too hard if they don't like the way you're responding to them.

We used to love this dental office but like others are saying something has changed there and not for the good. I had scheduled an appointment with them 3 months in advance for a cleaning. A day before my appointment they called and asked if I could change it. I had already scheduled off work and politely declined. The girl on the other end tells me that if I can not reschedule then they will have to drop me as a patient. I had to get down right nasty and demand to speak to a supervisor before she said she would have to change things around. Dr Nyung was great but the black woman who does the teeth polishing is horrific! She has a nasty attitude and takes it out on the patients. She is not thorough in her work and kept on brushing my nose while working. She needs to get retrained in her job like the front staff need to get retrained in customer service. We will not be going here again and definitely do NOT recommend this place.

My family loves this office! My daughter came to see Dr. Avedian for fillings and a cleaning. He was very kind and professional which made my daughter feel comfortable and actually wants to come back to see him. The whole staff was kind and accommodating. Dr. Nyung is a great dentist with great people skills. She is thorough in her work and cares about her patients. Her staff is a different story. They have called twice two days before each appointment to try to reschedule me. The first time I thought it was an error and let it go but now I am wondering why they keep messing up? I will be looking for a new dental group who doesn't have scheduling issues.
