We attend dental lectures, meetings, and conventions to stay informed of new techniques, the latest products, and the newest equipment that a modern dental office can utilize to provide state-of-the-art dental care. Also, being members of professional dental associations helps us to stay abreast of the changes and recommendations for our profession.
I am very excited to offer the community a new state-of-the-art dental office. I was born and raised in the neighboring Belleville area, so I am a local member of the community. I graduated from Lincoln High School in 1985. I joined the United States Army after high school, serving active duty forfour years as a dental assistant and then as adental hygienist. After active duty, I joined the Army Reserveserving until 1995, when I got accepted into the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. I graduated from the University of Michigan in 1999, and then returned to the US Army Reserve where I still currently serve as a Dental Officer.
In 2002, I opened a family dental practice in Ypsilanti, which has been one of the most fulfilling endeavors that I have been a part of. In 2004, I was deployed to Iraq and feared the worst for my business. When I returned, the outpouring of support that I received was overwhelming, which made me realize that being a dental provider is more than just working on teeth, but an opportunity to establish a relationship with each patient. I recognize every relationship is unique and allows me to combine my expertise with your wishes to create a positive outcomea healthy, beautiful smile! In may of 2018 I am proud to say that after 33 years of service I have retired from the military and will now be able to focus all of my energy on the thing that I love, and that is the practice of dentistry.
I look forward to the opportunity of delivering the highest quality dental care to the citizens of Canton and the surrounding areas. We have a state-of-the-art facility which offers the highest quality of care and an experienced and well-trained staff to accommodate all of your dental needs. My children and I had a great experience here. The staff was friendly and professional. The hygienist was very thorough. I loved the massage chairs. This is my new dental office.

This is THE PLACE! Fabulous staff, and I mean the best. Great dentist, very warm and caring. Excellent service that starts with the first phone call and ends with a happy satisfied smile as you leave. I recommended them to my best friend who had a dental emergency and she just raved about the care she received. We are so blessed to have found such wonderful people.

They accept Medicaid and run this place like a car wash. Hopping between patients doing numbing injection twice because they took too long to get back from the other patient. Did not say a word to me post op, just left...They dont explain what to expect post-op probably because they don't have time. I was going to bring my family here but definitely never going back. If you pay for your own insurance this is definitely not the place you want to go

I'm leaving a review so hopefully the office manager or practicing dentist will see this. I need a dentist, and I'm a cash cow. Probably would have been several thousand dollars in payments from my insurance company - but the staff was unable to confirm my insurance, so I had to direct them and handle that for them. Once verified the dentist staff decided to put the insurance company's number in for my phone number. An 877 #, which didn't occur to anyone when they called to confirm? Hello, thank you for calling Blue Cross? So they canceled my appointment. Thankfully, I called them before I drove 40 minutes to learn of their mistake in person. Dear Dentist: Your staff just cost you $30k. Good day.

This dental office is the place to be! I accompanied my sister here for work she needed done, then recommended them for my boyfriend. Neither had been to the dentist in a while out of fear. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with welcoming faces. From the receptionists to the dentists and everyone in between, you are treated with respect and compassion. They really made my loved ones (who were terrified walking in) feel so comfortable and took extra time to explain each step and help calm them down. They scheduled extensive work in blocks and worked with our schedule as we drive 45 minutes for this office (seriously, they are worth it!). They also seem to have very advanced equipment, so the work does not take as long as you'd expect. I am continuously impressed with how they just make you feel like you walked into your best friend's house to hang out.

The dental hygienist is awesome here. I believe her name is Megan. She is so professional while being easygoing and she will make sure she does her best to clean your teeth! I really appreciated her thoroughness and her work. Also the staff are all super friendly and make you feel relaxed. I only saw Dr Phillips for a bit but he will definitely make you laugh.

Doctor Phillips has been caring for my families teeth for over 10 years. The office is always clean and inviting. The staff is very professional and thorough, like Valerie the hygienist. This is where you go for top notch service with a family atmosphere.

We just recently joined the Canton Center Dental family and they were great! The staff are friendly and attentive to the needs of the client. I brought my entire family to the dentist (husband, 7 month old and 19 month old) and they were helpful and understanding! They outlined our next steps and follow-up process. The office is CLEAN which I really appreciate! I also love that it is a minority owned business :)

Canton Center Dental made me feel right at home. The women are highly professional. My last dentist took my concerns with a grain of salt but when I explained them to my new doctor, she showed real concern. Not only is the staff professional, under such busy situations they are still warm and inviting. I really admire the way the front desk staff were busy but they still took the time to greet everyone who came in. Keep up the good work! I will definitely make this my home dental center!

Dr. Philips is a wonderful dentist. He does excellent work and is honest about what you need. He did an amazing job on a crown I received and after putting on the crown fixed my bite so it feels comfortable. I went to other dentists before this and my bite didn't feel quite right for years.Dr Philips took the time to get it right. Thank you Dr Philips!
