I had to have a crown and found Canopy Oak Dental who accepts my insurance. I am unable to open my mouth very wide and have had some awful experiences with dentists pretty much my whole life. The assistant, Blair, was so sweet, understanding, and gentle. She explained everything as she went, and checked on me throughout the procedure to make sure I was comfortable. I was...as much as can be expected anyway. Dr Narducci was also very calming and personable. He worked quickly but was still thorough. I was fairly relaxed because they both checked how I was handling the procedure through the whole process. I was actually "comfortable" at the dentist office. As a matter of fact, every single staff member I have seen or spoken to has been nothing but pleasant. I recommend them highly. If you're a nervous dental patient like me give this place a try. I will finally no longer dread my dentist visits.

I agree this place has gone down hill since Dr. Amy left, I had some bridge work done back in early June, and I am still waiting for this Dr. Alshrong to make himself available to correct the flaws in this bridge work. I keep getting the same story from the office manager, that she is trying to get this Dr back. I don;t think I will ever get the work done, I guess that I will have to fork out more money to another dentist to correct the problem.

So you've tried the rest, but Canopy Oak Dental is the best. Trust me. The staff is amazing. I found this office after having a bad experience at another Dentist in town. When I tell stop looking now and call. The whole staff is amazing from the front desk all the way up to the Dentists. Your mind will be at ease, even in pain I had a good laugh. Thank you all. I feel amazing now!

Dr Alshrouf was very compassionate about my needs. Felicia his Dental Assistant is efficient especially when she made impressions of my teeth. The best I ever had done. Not to leave Lynn out at the front desk. I needed emergency help and she was so kind and caring about my situation. I highly recommend this dental office.

Since the new turn around in staff this place has been amazing. Dr. Alshrouf took care of me in the same day after complaining of a tooth that has been bothering me for almost a year. I couldn't find a Dr. That I could truly entrust and he made me feel confident enough to get the procedure that was needed. The staff is professional and attentive. My care was top tier and fast/painless. Front desk/ the manager gave me a warm greeting and I can't thank Canopy anymore for helping me relieve pain! Also a plus, they offered me beer and wine .. luxurious treatment at its finest.:)

This place is absolutely horrible. Dr Amy no longer works there even though they claim she does. They charged me $151 as a copay when my copay was supposed to be zero. That was on March 14th. It is now May 10th and they still have not corrected the problem. My insurance company, humana, has contacted them several times. They admit they made a mistake but refuse to correct it. If the same thing has happened to you, or something similar, contact your insurance company. Humana is going to revoke their participation in network because of this. I am also contacting the Florida Dental licensing board to make a complaint. Bottom line, find someone else. Canopy Oaks Dental sucks.

This office is terrible. Waited 9 months to get my teeth cleaned after 3 cancellations. Sabrina would not do a regular cleaning when I finally got an appointment. Very, very unprofessional. Avoid this office. Amy was good. Miss her.

I want to say dr. Amy is great, she def. Needs to find a much better office to work for. This place is an absolute disgrace. I have been waiting several months to get my daughters teeth cleaned and they can not keep a hygenist employed. This darnucci company is pathetic i have left several messages for some one to get back to me about the lack of professionalism from this off and have yet to recieve a return call. Personally they should just close this garbage office if you can not keep a hygenist working for you.

Most unorganized & lying office. My wife, and I as well as both of her parents have been patients of Dr. Amy for years. She is absolutely phenomenal, kind and compassionate. However, since the office switched ownership & management this office has completely turned around for the worse. We have had several cancelled appointments without notice, we have showed up for our appointments only for them to tell us that they couldn't see us (we travel about 45 mins to the office). The practice manager is full of excuses and very unprofessional. Their new story is that the doctor (Dr. Amy) has had to abruptly go on Medical Leave (which is a lie) I found Dr. Amy to be working at Dr. Quinn's Family Dentistry which we have switched over. She is such a great dentist, she deserves an office that supports her and is organized to live her legacy. Canopy Oak is making up excuses so they don't lose patients but in the mean time its jeopardizing patients dental health. Our best friends had new patients appointments scheduled with Dr. Amy and waiting over 7 months for their appointment only to be cancelled the week before. You have lost 5 good patients with good insurance coverage over the way this office is being ran.

The staff was fine. Courteous and friendly. I take issue with the management of the place and decided to part ways. The dentist that examined me was not the name on the door with the glowing reviews. In the paperwork they want you to sign away your 7th amendment right to a jury trial which is a HUGE red flag. (PS-They can't, but their lawyers try and there must be a reason) Not all the equipment works and there are no spit sinks. The chairs are cheap and uncomfortable. Then the pitch went to me needing an expensive "super cleaning" first when I had more pressing issues and they had records from my previous provider showing I had just had a cleaning in February. Then they added something called abfractions into my treatment plan. Filling abfractions is controversial and my 2 previous, reputable dentists said that they wouldn't fill those unless they bothered me. They don't ever bother me because at the advice of those dentists I simply use Sensodyne or another anti-sensitivity toothpaste. So as things went down, they counted 7 new cavities in just under 4 months. One was for real, 6 were abfractions. If you check Google reviews they have a lot of great reviews, but, the crowd here is elderly and has probably experienced a lot of other less-than-stellar dentists, so I'm not confident reviews are everything. Lastly, the excellently reviewed resident dentist, Amy, was not available and I didn't want to go forward with someone else as I could not find any background on the dentist that was subbing that day. Again, I liked the personnel. The office manager, Tammy, is very nice and accommodating and the hygienist is a very nice fellow BUT cheap chairs, cheap equipment, and questionable legal maneuvers make me wonder if their anesthetic, needles, and drills are also cheap. ************************** AFTER THAT: And for the last several months I've been getting invoices for $50. Nothing listed, just a blank invoice for $50. I have no idea why they think I owe them $50. They were told where to get the x-rays well in advance of my visit, and because they didn't get them they shot a new series with the excuse "we need our own". This is never true. If the dentist is properly educated and the monitors aren't etch-a-sketches, then reading x-rays from other dentists isn't a problem. This is a pure money grab. NEVER LET ANY DENTAL OFFICE TELL YOU THEY CAN'T USE XRAYS FROM ANOTHER DENTIST. My plan only allows x-rays every 5 years, so I'm guessing they got burned by the insurance for taking unnecessary x-rays and now want money from me. Forget it.

After my visit on Dec. 29 , 2020 , an authorization for future dental work was submitted to my insurance company - without the address of the business ! SO it was voided , NO ONE EVER contacted me as I waited 2 months and when I returned the gal at the front desk said it would be re-submitted BUT IT NEVER WAS ! I recommend everyone go somewhere else for your dental needs as this staff " talks down " to potential patients , snotty and arrogant but , as usual , do not do their job . They certainly made it clear to me they don't want my business . The Insurance company was notified too of their incompetence and unprofessional actions .

After having to wait 5 months for our first appointment, we had an unplanned trip come up and had to reschedule. The soonest appointment they offered was another 8 months away. That's one year and one month total! Shameful way to treat a new client!
