The team at Cano Dental is led by Dr. Stephanie Hernandez. She completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in 2011. She began working at Cano Dental after her graduation and now practices in several of our locations throughout South Florida and Broward County. Of course, Dr. Hernandez couldnt do this alone and she is accompanied by world-class dentists that help make her dream of providing affordable dental treatment in Florida a reality.

Dr. Stephanie Hernandez, D.M.D was born and raised in South Florida. At the University of Miami, she earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in biology and chemistry. She then went on to pursue her doctorate degree at Nova Southeastern University Dental School. After graduating from NSU in 2011, she began working at Cano Dental in which she now practices in several of there locations in South Florida and Broward County. At Cano Dental, we strive to provide quality comprehensive dental care to our patients in a caring environment while educating our patients on the importance of oral health.

I have been a practicing Doctor of Dental Medicine for over 20 years and am the founder of Cano Health, a full-service health care organization with both medical and dental facilities in South Florida. I completed my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in 2001. Before immigrating to the United States, I completed my specialty in Prosthodontics in Havana, Cuba. I completed this program in one of the most prestigious multi-disciplinary polyclinics that treated both medical and dental diseases. Throughout my profession, I have had the honor and privilege of mentoring pre-dental students, current dental students, and even fellow specialists who have gone on to become outstanding providers in their communities.

Form a young age Dr. David Hernandez Cano knew he wanted to become a dentist. Growing up Dr. David had the opportunity to shadow his mother, Dr. Lourdes M. Cano, founder of Cano Family Dental. He attended undergraduate school at Nova Southeastern University Farquhar College of Arts and Science of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he majored in Biology with a minor in Psychology. On August 2008 Dr. Hernandez Cano began his studies at Nova Southeastern University, College of Dental Medicine of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he graduated on August 2012 and obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Shortly after his passion for dental surgery led him to obtain certifications in dental implants and implant prosthetics. In December 2012 he became a Fellow at The International Congress of Oral Implantology. Today, Dr. David Hernandez Cano along with his dedicated surgical team improve patients lives one smile at the time.

Dr. Mauro Carballo graduated in Dominican Republic in 2010, obtaining his DDS Degree at the Faculty of Universidad Central del Este. After working in Dominican Republic for 4 years, he later moved to Miami, FL. Thanks to his residency and practice, Dr. Carballo obtained enough advanced training in all specialties of dentistry, including but not limited to oral surgery, implants, dentures and working toward treatments for medically compromised patients. Making a difference in peoples lives through a smile and helping the community is what motivated him to become a Dentist. When Dr. Carballo is not at the office, hes enjoying outdoor activities.

Gio Gonzalez, DMD, is a well-qualified dentist. At Cano Dental, he provides a wide range of cosmetic, surgical, and general dentistry services to patients. Dr. Gio Gonzalez earned his Bachelor of Science in psychology from Florida International University in Miami. He then graduated with a Master of Science in biomedical sciences from Barry University in Miami before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida.As a licensed dentist in Florida, Dr. Gio is Invisalign certified, CAD/CAM trained, certified in administering nitrous oxide, and has completed multiple continuing education courses in implantology. He stays updated on the most cutting-edge dental innovations. In addition, he is bilingual and emphasizes building relationships with his patients.

Rosario Streett is a dentist with more than 15 years of experience. She graduated as a DDS in Peru and had a diplomate in Cosmetic Dentistry. She moved to the USA and got accepted into the residency program at the University of Miami and Jackson Hospital where she got her USA dental License. She is trained to perform different types of dental treatments that go from cosmetic restorations, root canals, fixed and removable prosthesis to implant placement and implant restorations.

Dr. Nayef Serhan D.M.D is an International Dental Graduate from Nova Southeastern University, with a father from Jordan and Mom form Cuba has a rich culmination of Arab and Latin Cultures. Graduated from La Habana, Cuba faculty of dentistry back in 2009, later one moved to Jordan and completed an internship program in general dentistry treating patients in hospitals throughout the country gaining tremendous hands-on insight into comprehensive dental care. He is also a member of Orthodontic Progressive Seminars. Dr. Serhan lives in Miami, FL. He is also fluent in English, Spanish and Arabic and has a great sense of humor.

I was born and raised in Miami to Argentine parents but left at the age of 18 to pursue my dream of becoming a Dentist. I went to the University of Florida for my Bachelors degree in Food Science & Human Nutrition. I later went on to pursue a Masters Degree in Oral Health Science at Boston University. In 2015 I began Dental School at New York University in Manhattan. Shortly after I completed my Dental degree I returned to Miami to practice. I have been practicing with Cano since 2020 and really have enjoyed my time with the staff and patients Cano has. I feel fortunate to be part of such a loving and dynamic team. In my free time I love to travel, workout, and spend time with my family.

Dr. Baez strongly believes that by being trained in different fields of dentistry he can make a better treatment decision for the patient and perform better and longer lasting dentistry. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is diligent in her pursuit to stay current in providing the professions leading dental care procedures while delivering the highest level of dental care in a gentle, comfortable and compassionate manner. Among her developed areas of expertise are oral surgery, endodontics, dentures, and cosmetic dentistry, including Invisalign treatment.

Above all Dr. Baez cherishes his family life and enjoys spending time with his husband and two children. She also enjoys running, strength training classes like crossfit, traveling around the world, and music.

Dr. Miguel Reyes earned his degree at Universidad central del este (UCE) in San Pedro de Macors, Dominican Republic. He is certified in Implants, Endodontics, and Cerec Technology. Dr. Reyes believes Dentistry is a very beautiful branch of medicine with many variations of treatments to help patients obtain good oral health and at the same time create the cosmetic smile that makes them happy. When he is not at the office, hes spending time with his wife and daughters.

Dr. Christina Reyes graduated in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic at Ibero-American University (UNIBE). She is certified in Gap, Implant, Endodontics, Orthodontics, and Botox. Dr. Reyes feels Dentistry is the perfect combination of art and science. She decided to be a dentist because it is a fun and productive profession that allows me to help patients. Dr. Reyes fell in love with the profession by seeing first hand her parents work in the dental office and making patients happy. When she is not helping her patients, she is a National Champion at Paso Fino horse riding.

Since childhood, Dr. Lesner Martinez says his interest in dentistry was an overwhelming force. His mother, who is a retired dentist too, always took him to her job, in a public dental clinic in Cuba, after school. His entertainment was playing with teeth and wax most of time. So, his passion for dentistry field was growing every day. After high school, he went to Medical sciences University of Camaguey. Dr. Lesner Martinez graduated in 2004 as a Doctor in Stomatology. In addition, he got two more years in the residency, in order to become Integrated general dentist, somewhat like GPR in US. Later on, he practiced dentistry in Venezuela for 5 months then moved to United States. Here, he worked as dental assistant and dental office manager in Houston, Texas. He received his DMD certification in June 2018.

Dr. Lesner Martinez has been living in Miami, FL for the past 3 years with his family. His mission is to provide comprehensive dental services to all patients in a safe environment, reassuring pleasant and comfortable service.

Dr. Aleman started his career at the University of Dentistry in Havana, Cuba. He later graduated at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in New Jersey. Coming from a family of Dentist, inspired him to become one. Dr. Aleman is currently living in the Pembroke Pines area with his wife and child. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, watching movies with his family, and learning about history.

My name is Orlando Diaz Valle also Known as Dr Diaz Valle, I graduated from University of Miami with a dental residency in Jackson Hospital. I have been a Dentist from more than 19 years. A profession that becomes every day more interesting and fun, a profession that, at the beginning, didnt know that I will love as much as I do today. I lived in Miami waiting to join with my daughter after 18 years hopefully this is the year. I love to be around happy friends even though some time looks so serious you always feel my appreciation and humility.
