Elizabeth F. Cannon was raised in Elizabethton, TN and graduated from Elizabethton High School before pursuing her Bachelor of Science Degree at East Tennessee State University. After earning her Bachelor of Science Degree she earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. Doctor Cannon felt a strong pull to return to her home area and serve its people. After three years of practicing dentistry in Johnson City, she established her own practice that serves Northeast Tennessee.
Melissa is the Office Manager and a graduate of East Tennessee State University with a degree in Health Services Administration. Melissa and her husband, Chris, love spending time with their two children. She enjoys the opportunity to work personally with each patient to make sure the treatments are financially attainable, both with and without insurance. She has a passion for helping others and strives to help each patient make the best financial decision for their family.
Brieyonna Tejeda is the Scheduling Coordinator and a Registered Dental Assistant. She is the first smiling face you will see upon entering the office. Brie has a very friendly, energetic attitude and strives to assist patients with any specialized need or request.
Aleda is a Registered Dental Hygienist who graduated from ETSU. She has been a Hygienist at Cannon Family Dental since 2013. Kept very busy by her two children, she spends most weekends on the soccer fields or at recitals. Her passion shows through the care, education, and support she gives to each of her patients.
Chelsea is the first smiling face you see when you enter the office. She enjoys getting to know all of our patients and making them feel comfortable while they are at the office, Outside of the office she loves leading the youth group at her church and hanging out with her husband Taylor and her dog smokey.
Misha has been a dental assistant for over 5 years. She has traveled the world while living in Iceland for a year with her husband Damon when he played professional basketball. In here free time she spends it with her husband, their dog Memphis, church family, and friends. Since coming back form Iceland she's jumped right back into assisting and loving every minute of it.
Chris has been with the practice since the beginning Plus he's Dr. Cannon's husband. He serves as the office practice administrator, office cheerleader, office cook, and all things marketing related. He has an extensive background in multiple businesses, heading marketing and sales organizations, plus running his real estate business. He takes care of all of accounts payable and all marketing and promotions related to the practice.

I just wanted to take a minute to give credit where it is due! Dr. Cannon and her staff have been wonderful for my family and I. She is the one that discover and diagnosed a lower jaw fracture on my husband X-rays after a tooth extraction done my by a not so compassionate Oral Surgeon. She also took me in for a fracture tooth and did all the work in one sitting before the final crown came in. Brie is great and efficient at her job as well. I can not praise Dr. Cannon enough for her professionalism and her caring.

New to the area and looking at the reviews I tried to make an appointment 1. They don't answer their phone but let it go to voice mail 2. They don't call back 3. They don't answer their email.

They scheduled me three months out only to text me 3 days before the appointment that they needed to reschedule me for another three months out. They could be the greatest dentist in the world, but that's terrible service.

As someone who has a lot of dental anxiety, I am hesitant and very picky about dental offices. Everyone here is so wonderful, they get the work done quickly and professionally. Highly recommend!

I have been their patient for three years and have received professional and courteous service every visit. The downgrade is for failure yesterday to inform me, a 75-year-old, in advance that the hygienist who cleaned my teeth had chosen not to receive the covid vaccine. That, of course, is her right, but I don't think it was this practice's right to put me at risk without my informed consent.

Take it from a coward, everyone there is so understanding and patient. They do everything they can to make you feel comfortable, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but I look forward to going to the dentist now and visiting my friends.

We've been seeing Dr. Cannon and her associates for a year now and have never been dissatisfied. They truly are amazing and never make you feel like you're just a payment to them. They all genuinely care about you and your family.

Most amazing dental office in Johnson City! Even though they are not in network with my insurance, they were upfront, amazing, and I'm still going to move my family to that office. My son had to have two teeth removed and they were amazing with him!
